It was good for the price. It's gated which is better.

It was ok. I wouldn't have stayed longer then I had to.

good value, our room was very clean, cleaning person honored special request

It was adequte, no mini fridge wasnt expect, but I made do with what I had.

I was about 500 yards from the freeway...no sleep at all.

The safe in my room did not work even after the manager supposedly "fixed" it. The continental breakfast consisted of toast and jelly. The location is a few minutes from downtown but the neighborhood is not nice.

Felt very uncomfortable during my stay. Debated on leaving at 1am. Was happy to see my car did not get broken into in the morning. Do not stay here.

The motel was subpar. Breakfast consisted of toast, juice, and coffee out of a thermos. Price was very high for the quality of the motel. Would not recommend Econolodge in Tucson to anyone. Buyer beware!

The motel was very old in a bad neirgborhood not worse the 100 AND SOME DOLLARS WE PAID BEACUSE OF A CONVENCION

Room was clean and nice.

This motel was horrible. The staff at the front desk is OK, even when entering the room everything appeared to be OK. But after an hour walking around the room in our socks, we noticed they were completely black. Disgusting! Upon closer inspection we found dirt, hair and god only knows what else throughout the room. The beds were horribly uncomfortable which was only made worse by the continual police sirens going by throughout the night. Then the last night party kids arrived next door - this seems to be the cheap place to go after the clubs close as there is no security to enforce anything. They stomped up and down the halls all night long and partied all over the property.

The hotel was horrible, the location was scary. The bedroom had a very unpleasant odor. The bedding was too old it had holes. The pillows were very skinny. The bed didnt even had a fitted sheet and it was very uncomfortable. Unfortunately I couldnt cancel my reservation due to hotel policies. I wouldnt stay there again.

Easy to find and close to resturants.

While I would prefer no fragrance in a non smoking room, I'd have to say it was a value for the money. And, we were upgraded to a room with a fridge. Bring your own clock. There was none. The management were most helpful as well.

The men said they the place was okay. The women said no-way. This is an older property. If you are desperate for a horizontal sleeping surface it might be okay. Road noise from the hwy was loud. Being an old property rooms aren't insulated well for sound. Linens were clean but stained. Likely vintage to the property age. As a woman, I was willing to pay an extra $20 or $30 for something better. The front desk crew was friendly and did their job efficiently. We were late arrivals.

This place was scary! A man followed our family though the hotel telling us to leave within 10 minuites or he would hurt us. Talked to management twice. They assured us he had left the property. In the morning, when we left, he came out of another room. This place is scary and should be avoided!

The place was alright for the price needs a lot of improvement

Towels were gray, not white, room was in terrible shape, sink was not clean. It had soap scum. No hair dryer or ironing board in the room. Didn't walk barefoot nor shower barefoot. Bathroom smelled like urine. Just horrible.

I know, you get what you pay for. I went to Tucson to participate in the 4th Ave Street Fair. I thought the Hotel I booked was a few blocks from the event. Evidently I got the one miles from the event (maybe the one closer was booked? The Toilet ceased to work (these things happen and they upgraded my room the third night because of it), the neighboring room guest was coughing all night (thin walls). The coffee was yucky with powdered creamer and the "breakfast" was mini donuts. The neighborhood was sketchy. All in all, not the best stay.

I would not recommend to anyone. Room was dirty, the bed tilted to one side, and smelled like an ashtray.

We had a restful night. It seemed secure for its location. We were satisfied for the one night stay.

The hotel is well run and clean. My only complaint was the condition of the mattress & springs - old and worn. But, I may stay there again, anyway.

Hotel profile indicated microwave, refrigerator & coffee makers in room. Room had none of those, front desk clerk was somewhat rude and confrontational about their absence. Also, no soap/shampoo in rooms (I bring my own, by travel companion didn't). Other than those points, it was acceptable for the relatively low price.

Bad water pressure and luke warm hot water. At least the drug dealers and prostitutes were quiet.

The room was very comfortable for me and my guest. Pretty clean. I liked that it was close to I-19. Surrounding area....I had lived in Tucson before, around the Grant/Speedway area. I wasn't quite prepared for where the motel was located. Kinda got lost a few times. Overall, a good experience.

Room was very hot A/C did not cool romm down enought to be comfortable. Fan in the bathroom was very noisey. No circulation in bathroom was very hot. No small refrigerator in room. Would not stay more than one nite. One nite was enough.

Cheapest in town and right off of the I-10. Right next to convenience store and Food City. Nice Pool Too! Breakfast is coffee, juice and muffin or toast. Nothing fancy but free. If you are picky, ship this one. But if you are looking for a deal, this is it.

Was OK for the price.

The place needed a lot of work to it old beds nearly laying on the floor. Need a good paint job. Just did not feel homey here. I would not stay in this place again.

This is a low budget hotel. The breakfast that is offered is a joke. They have juice & coffee, a few small muffins and bread for toast. Not even jam for the toast. The room did seam fairly clean.

very nice staff just a horrible location. Can't fault the hotel for that. Lot of homeless people, dopeheads, and prostitutes walking around all hours.

We chose this room because it was cheap and somewhat close to our destination. We were not expecting much based on the reviews we had read prior to booking it, but this hotel was worse than I thought it was going to be. You can see this hotel from the highway but it's difficult to actually get to. It's tucked behind an old gas station and there's only one way to get in and out of the hotel. It's also in a rough part of town!!! All night long we listened to police sirens and woke up to a homeless man going to the bathroom on the side of the hotel. We only had to stay one night, thank goodness. Looking back, I feel like we payed way too much for this room.

Hard to find, but worth it in the long run. Ask for a room away from the ice machine!

My expectations for an Econo Lodge were met, and though the cool nights in January kept it's temperature too low for swimming, the pool was clean and available and perfect for sunbathing during the warm days. I was visiting Tucson for pleasure, and found that I was a little further from the attractions of Tucson than I find desirable. The taxi companies were usually very quick to pick me up (as little as 5 and only once more than a 15 minute wait), but the added $10 - $15 per trip took away from the Econo Lodge savings. If I return to Tucson for pleasure, I may stay somewhere closer to the 4th Ave. business district or the University of Arizona. If I were on a road trip, it's proximity to I-10 is perfect for a quick, overnight stay.

The neighborhood didn't seem to be the greatest, and I was a little wary of the enclosed outdoor hallway that our room was in, but all in all the stay was ok. The walls were thin as we could hear the neighbors partying, and the bathroom fan was SUPER loud; enough so that we used the bathroom in the dark.
