This was a terrible experience . would never book econo again. The day staff at the front desk were the only thing good about it.Very nice Lady

Dirty, smelly, avoid staying here even to save a few bucks.

The bed clothes had burn holes in them the bathroom had mold their were hand prints in the wall the worst thing is they don't tell you you have to pay a deposit of 50.00 or they don't let you stay or refund your money I only carried wat I budgeted for the trip at it ruined my visit

When I checked in, the staff seemed more concerned about texting on his cell phone rather than welcoming me. Another gentleman came in and they spoke in a foreign language the whole time. If everyone speaks English, I find it incredibly rude to speak their native tongue in front of a customer! The guy at the front desk then asks for a $50 deposit, which I wasn't expecting. I finally got my room key and tried to find parking, since their lots were small and limited. The outside of the hotel was nice and newly renovated, but when I stepped into my room I was pretty disappointed. Very outdated with pieces of the wall missing and mold growing in the grout of the bathroom tile. This was also my first time staying at an Econolodge that did not offer a microwave/fridge. I doubt I will be back to stay.

check in clerk was rude. Want $100 security desposit for a 44 dollar one. Breakfast was not good. Sink and drain was slow on draining.

I guess you get what you pay for. Will never make that mistake again. The worst hotel. It was more like a motel in crack town.

Water wasn't real hot room was clean The place is older but clean it was a place to sleep I would stay there again bed was nice

There is nothing around this hotel to do for leisure

Worse hotel ever! I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ITCHING ON MY NECK ARMS AND CHEST.....TURNED ON THE LIGHT, SAW NOTHING WENT BACK TO SLEEP.....THAT MORNING, I HAD BITES EVERY WHERE IN LIKE A PATTERN OF 3 ALL OVER MY ARMS NECK AND CHEST.....I FLIPPED THE COVERS BACK AGAIN AND SAW FLEAS AND THESE LITTLE TINY BROWN BUGS..I TOLD MANGER AND THEY JUST BRUSHED IT OFF AND GAVE ME A REFUND FOR 1 NIGHT.....ORIGINALLY I BOOKED THE WHOLE WEEKEND I CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY! ONLY BENEFIT WAS THAT THEY HAD A MICROWAVE AND FRIDGE ......IT HAS BEEN A WEEK AND IM STILL BUMPLY! DONT GO!

Having stayed there several times in the past, we were VERY disappointed that it had changed hands. Overall, the hotel has really gone downhill. Needs updating, the free breakfast is a diabetic's nightmare! Not at all as it used to be.

I was disappointed since the hot tub was not working. When I made my reservation I requested a microwave and mini fridge,and when I checked in I had asked about it. The clerk had informed me that they would bring one in the morning since we had a late check in. I called the next morning after we woke up and the front desk clerk advised me that it would be extra as well as I would have to change rooms. Over all I was not pleased with my stay here.

The mattresst had never been rotatesd and I slipped off of it that night and hurt my back. Call girls waiting in the parking lot. Please refund ASAP.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at the rooms were dirty, my fridge was leaking they brought me stained towels, the air was not working correctly it was hot than cold all night long the staff was rude as well the pool was dirty and had news papers in it so I could not go in the pool the jacuzzi was boarded off so that was out . And the stove was discusting plus it didn't have nobs on the stove they refused to change my room as well also at the check in I was never told it's required from them to put a deposit down and at checkout they tried telling me the dirty towels they brought me to clean up the flood from the fridge that they were keeping my deposit because I did that they were towels that had brown stains all over them

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I stay in hotels across the country and none have been as bad as this Econolodge. I arrived on 3/8/12. I asked the night manager about early check out and he told me I would have to call Expedia because the reservation was prepaid through Expedia. The room that I was first given at the Econolodge in New Port Richie, FL. had a broken lock mechanism that would not work so, I could not enter the room. I was given another room which had a smoke alarm malfunction and the door had no dead bolt lock. The night manager said he had a battery and offered it to me to fix the problem myself. I told him about the dead bolt and he said there are no other rooms that I would have to stay in that room. He said I might be able to switch rooms the next day. The day manager was no help either the next day. I had to ask the maintenance man myself if he could fix the dead bolt lock. That is when I found out that the door had been resently kicked in by someone just days before. The complimentary breakfast was not. The cereal was stale and I had to find someone for service. The price per night was 70 dollars which was over priced under these conditions, for any price. I went to another hotel down the steet and purchased a lower priced room with a much better clientele and services. I stayed very comfortably for the remainder of my time down the street. I have only used online hotel reservations twice and will never do it again.I also had to call Expedia three time for reimbursement and was penalized 70 dollars which I did not deserve or feel it was fair to do so. I was never treated so rude in any other establishment before. I have lost all faith in online reservations such as Hotels.com

The house keeping service was next 2 nothing... mold in the bathroom.. towels were old and discolored... never cleaned the tub or toilet during my stay. The coffee maker was fried..... total disapointment with my stay...

I have occasion to use a motel when I visit my son and grandson in NPR. I was exremely impressed with this motel. A nice room, easily accessible. Very nice continental breakfast in the am. I will come here again!! Thank you.

Hotel Staff needs some serious customer service training. Held my credit card for incidentals for well over a week. Would not stay here again. Kids from surrounding community come and use the pool.

This place was disgusting!!!! UGH it was filthy, mold in the bathroom, dirty sheets, blankets, towels, pillows. There was a chair in the room that was stained with some disgusting stain. There were bed bugs in the bed. The room we had was an adjoining room with some other questionable men that were apparently long term residents at the hotel.. They came home in the middle of the night drunk, smoking outside of our room and sounded like they were vomiting in the hallway. The" breakfast" was questionable with a waffle maker and batter that was pre-poured and looked like it had been sitting out for awhile with flies in it. Definitely have your tetnus shot and bring a weapon for self defense if you plan on staying here! It was not the most inexpensive hotel that we stayed at, I have stayed at some lower cost hotels that were much, much cleaner. Just plain gross!

It was OK for the price, but there were a couple things to complain about. We had a lot of trouble using the card key-very tricky to get the door open. The tub didn't drain well, the drapes fell off the track when we opened them, the coffee maker was falling apart & the toilet didn't look very clean.

enjoyed our stay. will recomend it to others.

My cleanliness expectation is not just to have clean towels. I asked to clen the toilet and it looked the same all the time. This is the only issue I do not like it about the hotel.

Hotel in GREAT need of updating and repairs. Very dirty, hot tube not working, ice machine not working. Room also not up to our standards, stained sheets and bathroom very poor condition. I would not stay at this hotel again.
