Unfortunately it was a short stay, it was super clean and comfortable. Good chance we would stay there again .

Very nice hotel in close proximity to restaurants and shops on Maine street. It is also very close Bowdoin College where I had business. Room had modern decor and was very clean. Both the restaurant and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I am a vegetarian and the only complaint I have is limited selections of vegetarian items on the restaurant menu. Since the hotel is a short walk from downtown restaurants that was not huge problem. Overall good value for the money.

Very pleasant place, quiet, clean, close to center of Brunswick, reasonable price.

Everything was perfect...didn't have an opportunity to eat in the restaurant for a meal other than breakfast because of planned commitments. Will definitely stay in the future. Nice location...next to the bike and walking path in Brunswick.

Loved to be upgraded to a 2 beds room and though enjoying more space. Loved the white bathroom design even if on a small scale.Loved to have an empty fridge at disposal where we stored some delicacies from The Bouchon french bakery (Time warner tower). Didn t appreciate the exterior noise at all !!!!

the room was clean, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the exercise room and the spa was the best. Continental breakfast was great and the wait staff the morning we departed was so helpful, asking if we needed anything else, if we wanted anything heated in the microwave and if we would like more coffee or juice. Would stay at this Inn again, definately.

Extremely clean and comfortable, the Bar even offer glutan free pizza. The rooms offered quailty coffee and soaps. We were impressed! Plano, Texas

We have stayed at this hotel before and it has been renovated and is very lovely. The room was beautiful and comfortable. It is a close walk to Maine Street and so wonderful to walk thru the beautiful downtown - near restaurants etc. Our only problem was that they were having internet problems. I don't know if this was unusual or not. The staff was not very helpful or friendly about this. Most did not seem knowledgeable about how to fix it. After a full night and day of intermittent service, they called their carrier and fixed it. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Two blocks from center in a quiet location. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Would definitely return.

The hotel room was great and had a very good bed. So sleeping was perfect. Also cleanliness was not an issue. The only issue I had is that the complimentary breakfast did not fit the price. One day my wife was told that they are out of jam and 2 days later I was told that they are out of fruits. I confess that this happened around 9:30 am and breakfast is till 10 am, but this has not happened to me in a very long period of time and not in a hotel of this price level. Therefore the rating 3.

This is such a beautiful hotel in every way. You will want to come back just after one night. It was extremely comfortable and had everything you would want. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was delicious! Everything was perfect and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in comfort and in a beautiful place. Even the elevators were beautiful the hallways were perfect. As I said it is a beautiful hotel.

This is my second time to stay in the hotel. The hotel is nice, convenient and serves a complimentary breakfast. However, this time in the room there was a portable A/C unit which was noisy and annoying. The lady at the front desk was a little "standoffish" because we booked through Hotels.com which I found odd! Both at checkin and check out the next day she had a little attitude because we used an outside "vendor", her words.

nice place -- I got there late and was really, really looking forward to a glass of wine but the in-room mini-bar had no alcohol at all and the bar was closed. Not a huge deal but it's one of those little amenities that make a stay a bit more comfortable.

This hotel was beautiful, super clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful..the only complaint I had was the fact the in-house restaurantbar area and was closed on Sunday and Monday on the last long weekend of the season. I would have liked to sample the food or enjoyed a cocktail at the bar during my time there. The staff was helpful in directing us to a lovely local upscale organic eatery! I guess I wont have to worry next time I visit the Brunswick area for a great place to eat.

This is a beautiful little hotel. It's very clean and quite charming. The location is great: it's within walking distance of the downtown restaurant district. My only complaint is that the breakfast isn't quite up to the high standard set by the hotel, although it is free so it's hard to be too critical.

This is a nice reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and everything is new. The check in service was spotty but we did arrive on a Sunday night and there were very few people at the hotel. Overall, the food and service were good. We would return.

The Captain Daniel Stone Inn is an outstanding hotel for a small college town like Brunswick. The staff is universally friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is immaculately maintained. In addition to first-rate rooms, it boasts a top-notch restaurant and a very well-equipped fitness facility. There is ample parking and it's an easy walk to downtown Brunswick and Bowdoin College. Our one and only gripe was the awkward approach and departure from the highway (US-1).

Turn down service, WOW! Didn't expect that, felt like royalty the minute I walked in. Beautiful decorated and squeaky clean. Pillows were about 10 steps up from the ramada I stayed in the night before. I will NEVER stay anywhere else in Brunswick. SOLD. Hook, Line and Sinker.

Pleasant hotel, nice staff. Location ok but not great for our purposes. Continental breakfast disappointing--promised quiche, but not available.

Auch wenn Brunswick nicht direkt an der Küste liegt (10 km entfernt9, können wir das Inn sehr empfehlen. Sehr freundliches Personal, stilvolles und sauberes Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück (unbedingt die frisch gebackenen Waffeln probieren) und ebenfalls sehr gutes Restaurant zu vernünftigen Preisen. Auf unserer dreiwöchigen Neuengland-Rundfahrt war das "The Captain Daniel Stone Inn" eines der Highlights bei den Unterkünften.

Very clean and quiet atmosphere although it is located along the high-way. Walking distance to the bridge and biggest antique shop in the area which was the favourite of my wife. The hotel will be the one to stay when I shall return.
