Leeds Marriott Hotel - ليدز

3rd time at this Hotel, we find it ideal for us as in great location. The staff are always friendly. The recent refurbishment is lovely. Plenty to eat at breakfast, but not eaten in the Restaurant at an evening as we find the prices a little steep!

This hotel was popular with groups on the Saturday we stayed but quieter at night (in the corridors!) compared to many places I've been to. The staff were friendly and helpful and everyone enjoyed the breakfast which was luckily available until 11am! We would have preferred 3 people per room but the rate for 2 we paid as a special offer was very good value. The checking in and out for large groups was very efficient.

Only criticism is the expensive parking but due to its location there's probably not much that can be done about that.

I recently stayed overnight at the Leeds Marriott Hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. My only issue is we booked a disabled access room and whilst technically the room was accessible by a wheelchair user there wasn't much room. The bathroom was accessible for toilet use but not for bathing or showering and the beds were slightly too high for comfortable transfer from wheelchair to bed. Breakfast was excellent. Overall our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable but I would not stay again if a disabled room was required which is a shame.

I was very disappointed with the service at the Marriott in Leeds. We had to queue at arrival, our breakfast did not arrive to our room as requested, i rang to query but received no response so rang again only to be told to go to the restaurant. We were meant to be celebrating my birthday but it was spoiled by the general lack of interest in service- we were told the request card had not been given to room service, but this took 3 calls to establish and i was questionned whether I'd put the card out. We then had to go down and queue for breakfast. Bathroom smelled damp also. Dinner at the new steak restaurant was fantastic however.

Very good hotel, great location to the train station, shops and most of the bars. Booked last minute (day before) had no issues check in. Would book again with hotels.com.

We stayed at this Marriott for a couple of nights over the Easter break. All services and facilities were excellent and the location is perfect for anyone wanting to be near the centre of Leeds. Only negative comments I would make is the parking is circa £20 per day (NCP as the hotel does not have its own car park), so make sure you factor that into your rate and latest checkout is 13:00 before you enter the 'pay extra' realms... Other than the above, a super hotel. Top tip - If you like Thai food, try the Thai Edge restaurant in Leeds Centre. Very, very good!

Couldn't fault this hotel, excellent standard you expect with the Marriott chain in an amazing location right in the heart of everything.

I stopped at the Marriott Hotel to spend a weekend with my husband who is in the military and is going off to Afghanistan in 6 weeks . We arrived at the hotel to be told the restaurant and bar were being refurbished ( which we were not told when booking the hotel) We went up to our room which felt cold we adjusted the controls for the heating got ready as we were meeting friends in the bar ! When we got down to the bar what a shock and embarrassing moment when we found it was like sitting in a corridor and no barman arrived for 10 mins. We went out and when we came back to the hotel room it was still very cold but we went to bed to get warm . We reported the heating on the Saturday morning we went for breakfast which was like a cattle market dried up food no plates/bowls and no coffee even after asking 4 times. When we got back to the room they had put a small heater in the room we were not happy at all drilling sounds both mornings food spillt over me at breakfast on the Sunday morning a totally awful experience from a four star hotel with alot of hotels in thier chain........

Great hotel -super people ,right in the centre of Leeds.Easy to walk to all places and train station. We both had a great long weekend, the snow just add to the fun

Booked for a night at the music hall theatre. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the station, a similar distance from the theatre and around 15 mins walk from the Armouries. Excellent location for a very snowy weekend away.

I chose this hotel because of location but had not realised just how close to everything it actually is. We went by train from Chester when we came out of the station it was so easy just 5 minutes walk round the corner to the hotel. The main pedestrian street is just over the road for you to begin your exploring of Leeds, not far to the main attractions. We had a very comfortable stay, the pool was fab and the breakfast kept us fed until dinner.

This Hotel is a splendid friendly and nicely situated for town center train and bus station 5 mins away Superb Quality and Amenities I Will be Recomending this Hotel to Family and friends

our room had two queen beds and was immaculate,the breakfast was from 7-11 which was fantastic ,a full buffet and every thing else you wanted,there was ice machines in the corridors and the staff were very polite ,i will certanly being going there again

Hotel very good only down side was we had a small window in the corner which didn't let much light in Will be going again.

Room was a good size, well stocked mini bar, friendly professional staff, really nice restaurant. Very close to the rail station and shopping area of Leeds

The most comfy bed i have ever slept in. Did not want to get out of it.

I usually stay at Malmaison when in Leeds, but I got a good deal for the Marriott, and I have to say, I was impressed. The good:- Comfortable, large room with 2 double beds. Quality bed linen. Very friendly staff on reception, location is great for shopping and parking etc The not so good:- Very thin towels, expensive breakfast (but very good quality) I actually really enjoyed my stay - found it hard to fault anything - well done, the Marriott!

We have previously stayed here and were impressed enough to come back. The location is perfect - right in the centre and just minutes walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The adjoining Indian restaurant is worth going back to alone and a voucher for a free bottle of wine when we checked in was even better! Room was a little bit hot (5th floor) but otherwise comfortable and modern. The pool area was lovely and provided a nice environment in which to relax. We didn't use the valet parking at almost £20 for the night, instead parking in the long stay car park at the train station for £8 for 2 days and within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We would stay here agaain should we return to Leeds.

I BOOKED A SUITE, WE ARRIVED INTO A DATED ROOM, WITH ONE APPLE IN THE FRUIT BOWL, NO DRESSING GOWN OR SLIPPERS, A BROKEN HAIRDRYER, AND NO tv IN THE BEDROOM. THE ROOM WAS NOSY AT NIGHT DUE TO EXTERNAL ACTIVITY AND IT WAS TERRIBLY HOT. THE BREAKFAST WAS CHEAP. THE LOCATION IS GREAT.

This excellent value hotel is right in the centre of Leeds in a gorgeous little square, set back from the main road of Boar lane. It's a good choice for socialising in Leeds but we were not afftected at all by the noise the city's lively nightlife.

Lovely hotel - the room was really nice and comfortable, and there was a lovely breakfast. The swimming pool was great. Would recommend requesting a room that didn't face onto Boar Lane though, it was very noisy with Saturday night drinkers and the big church clock!!!

very convenient location,lovely hotel and staff , room was faultless-would recommend to anyone. also get good deals for the hotel indian restaurant-free bottle of wine which makes it a cheap meal!!

Gorgeous hotel and breakfast ,service second to none and being only a few minutes walk from the train station extremely good location . Stayed at a few hotels in Leeds now but would definitely use this one again next time

Rooms were big enough and the beds very comfortable. Good location for Leeds city centre/train station. Pool etc was all very good as well.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the concierge which was a nice touch, although slightly tarnished by the fact we had to park our car in an NCP for £17.50 with a 5% discount via the Hotel. We continued to check-in and were greeted warmly and professionally with a nice surprise of a free upgrade. The room was of a high standard of decoration and cleanliness. We also highly rate a nice relaxing use of the leisure facilities on a stay. The hotel is of a high standard with a good value for money hotel breakfast too. The only let down of the stay was that it was in Leeds, not a place i would venture back to in a hurry. There was not much to see in the City itself, only hen and stag nights as well as the odd cross dresser.

We stayed in a delux family room with 2 good sized beds and plenty of space. Mini bar in room with space for own things which was ideal for us to store our toddlers milk. The bathroom was adequate but I expected a higher quality from the Marriott but it was clean. The room on first sight appeared clean enough however we came across a previous guests flip flop by the bed and my 17 month old found a big ball of someone's hair which wasn't good. The hotel was really busy when we stayed and there appeared to be a formal function on. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the courtyard which I expected to be really quiet however it was exceptionally noisy til the early hours. The spa facilities were good however we only used the pool. Breakfast was exceptionally busy, you had to queue for everything and the queues were really long but the choice was good. The NCP car park is a short walk from the hotel however valet parking is available for a small charge. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would stay again but would request a room on a higher floor.

Marriott chain so chain style hotel standards, clean and stylish. Expect to pay for internet and parking, but very central position which makes for a good location for hen parties and business men alike!!

Repeat visit as we enjoyed our last stay, the hotel staff, service and facilities were great. My only complaint would be the price of drinks inside the hotel, close to £9 for 2 single Vodka and cokes which I though was a bit pricey. We travelled by train and the location of the hotel is perfect for this.

Nice central location, friendly staff and very clean. I would suggest that some better car park directions were given as the hotel is set in a square courtyard so not in direct view from the road and the NCP backs on to the same court yard yet on the other side. (under the railway arches). If you miss it you have to go round the ring road again. Would stay again .

Ive stayed in several hotels in Leeds and this has definetly been the best value for money. Its in a very central location, rooms spacious and contemporary, nice leisure club and good breakfast. Only negative point is that there is no car park and the closest NCP is very expensive.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and have always been impressed with standard of rooms. On this occasion not so good. We must have had the room nearest to the boiler as we could hear the constant noise from it both day and night. Not excessively loud but still quite an annoying and constant drone. Not what you expect in a hotel such as this.

Lovely hotel situated right in the heart of Leeds city centre. Room very comfortable, clean and above all peaceful nights sleep. the only drawback is the parking, we had to park at the NCP car park nearby, this isnt mentioned at booking, can be a little costly but you can get your ticket validated through reception. The breakfast was delicious, well recommended. Overall, a lovely stay.

Hotel is pretty much right in the middle of it all in Leeds. Great in that you don't need to walk far for shopping, bars etc. Bad in that noise from the street can be quite loud at night. Hotel itself is nice. Room was fine, although finding the previous occupant's old shower gel containers in the shower (missed by cleaning staff) was a bit of a low point. The lack of a stairway from the rooms to the reception was also a bit odd, and a slight problem when two of the three lifts were out of action on one of the days. But once they were back up and running, it was no big deal. Bar in the hotel was lively. All round, hotel was a reasonable hit apart from a couple of misses.

Generally an nice stay, but spoilt by a few factors. Room and hotel were clean and generally very modern. However their was a dirty plate in our room on arrival. Overnight we were kept awake by a nightclub opposite our window (despite being on the 5th floor) and screaming, banging taxi doors, etc. Very central location, which is close to the railway, shops and the Royal Armouries. All within easy walking distance. Staff were polite but not particularly interested in providing more than a basic service.

I stayed at the hotel for one night only as I was in Leeds on a business trip. I have to say that the hotel was superb - the staff were polite and friendly and could not do enough to help. the rooms were fantastic - well maintained and very comfortable. The inclusion of the use of the gym and swimming pool was a welcome additiion and the breakfast was a delight! Added to this was the fact that the hotel is in easy walking distance to the main shopping area and any number of restaurants. i highly recommend this hotel to all!
