The room was fine for the three of us. Seemed to be recently updated. Had a nice living room area with it's own tv, desk and pull out couch. The hotel in general was being renovated so it should be even better going forward. It's right by the highway. There is a Red Lobster right across the street which is a bonus if you're in to that kind of thing.

everything was great, except I would have liked Turner Classic Movie channel

The hotel reenovation is really nice. Our room still smelled of new carpet. Everything was new and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. They had many items that you don't usually find on the "free breakfast". We will definetly stay there again!

When I arrived at the hotel, I found out it was under renovation. I was unaware of any of it until I arrived. I was kind of concerned about the comfort of the stay and the apperance due to this. Even thought it was apparent that the hotel was under renovation, the hotel rooms were very comfortable and quiet. It felt just like a nice quality 4 star hotel. From the moment that I stepped into the hotel, every single one of the employees was so extrememly nice and helpful. I even talked to the manager about her evening employee named Pete. He was so nice to us and even let us have the hot tub a little longer than we should. The continental breakfast was great. It offered typical continental breakfast items, fixings for oatmeal, hot biscuits and gravy, and even a waffle maker! The staff was there the whole time asking if they could help you or if you needed anything else. During my whole stay, I definitely felt like I was in 'good hands'. Will be definitely staying there again!

By far the worst Fairfield Inn in the country. Hotel under construction, from the time I entered the packed parking lot, getting into the double single door lobby. Hotel is the oldest in the country an the rate is the same. My carpet in my room was all ripped up. Place was so nasty I didn't want to use there soap or towels. I ask the night man about the condition of the hotel, he was rude and disconcerted. He told me I should've check the Internet more better. My rental was hit in the packed parking lot and went unreported. So I will never refer this hotel to my friends or family.

I thought the hotel was nice. I do not think it was worth the money. I feel the price was about $30 too high.

We stayed at three hotels over the course of this vacation and Fairfield was our least favorite. I wish I'd been warned at the time of reservation that the hotel was under construction. Hard to believe that a hotel doesn't have an automatic front door---it was not only inconvenient for luggage but one of our party uses a wheelchair. Breakfast was fine, room and cleanliness were fine. I was very pleased when I was easily able to get my last night refunded without any hassle.

We were on vacation at various cities, in which we stayed at another Fairfield earlier that week. This hotel was very average compared to the other. The beds were clean and comfortable, but I noticed that after visiting the pool and walking onto the bathroom tile, I was leaving behind very dirty footprints, which indicated that the carpets were not cleaned in a long time. The pool and hot tube's chemicals were very strong and irritated our eyes. The hotel is not conveniently located off the highway. We had to zig-zag around the town to it. The continental breakfast was very decent. Overall, an average stay, but we probably wouldn't stay there again.

Hotel was very clean and the fresh baked cookies in the evening were fantastic!

It was a nice stay staff coulda been a little nicer I have a 17 year old daughter and she was being starred at by staff...RUDE

We enjoyed staying at the motel. Rooms were very clean, pool and whirpool were clean and easily accessible. Continental breakfast had a nice variety, and we enjoyed the cookies at night! Staff was very pleasant and attentive.

Where do I start. We were told this area (Jackson) was not an area to stay in. Boy were they WRONG. The motel was great and easy to get to, No security issues. Staff were beyond excellent, friendly, helpful, talked to you, especially Pete on 3rd shift. Homemade cookies were wonderful in the evening. Close to shopping and restaurants even for Black Friday, cheapest gas the whole trip. People in the community were friendly too. We stayed 4 nights and would stay at the Fairfield Inn in Jackson again in a heart beat. Much cheaper than in Ann Arbor 35 miles farther east. My wife noticed that the room carpet was dust/dirt free even in the corners, yet we never heard any kind of vacuum. How did they do it? If you are into old cars, Hudson's in Jackson is a great place to eat at.

First time ever to stay at a Fairfield Inn (usually a Hyatt Place, Aloft, Hilton Garden Inn etc. customer) and I was very satisfied with my stay. Hotels was clean and room clean well-appointed, and all staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The location was very convenient and quiet although close-by to the highway. The free breakfast was good, too, which I can't say too often. But it was the little things that made the stay so enjoyable: free coffee, tea, fruit and cookies in the lobby at all times; name brand toiletries, all my favorite cable channels. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked very clean and inviting and didn't emit any chlorine stink. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to business travelers and families alike.

Stayed the weekend while visiting the civil war reenactment. Front desk very helpful for where to eat and how to get to the park. The hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was great. Had a wonderful visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient to I-94 and shopping/restaurants. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Front desk staff friendly. Area filled with other hotels so not that pleasant to look at

We have stayed in this hotel before and every time we have been pleased with the very friendly and flexible staff. This is a nice clean hotel. Cookies at the door, basic refreshments in a well-maintained lobby. Rooms and Pool area more than adequate for this sized hotel, kids loved it!! Recommended !! :-)

I just want to tell everyone to be sure to check your credit card bill after staying here. I was charged for the stay even though I had pre-paid by booking through Hotels.com. I called the hotel and they promptly refunded me and made a sincere apology. Simple mistake. Would still stay there again. :-)
