The hotel was a great stay for the cost and it was across the street from the bowling alley I needed to be at. Restaurants and stores all within walking distance. Breakfast was ok, staff was friendly and rooms was clean.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Only complaint was they did not make up our room one night so we got back late and the bed was unmade and no clean towels. But otherwise friendly staff and decent accommodations plus free breakfast equals a good value.

Not the best, not the worst. It was good for a quick overnight stay, rooms were old but fairly comfortable, staff was very nice

We came into town as a surprise for my niece in a play at the university. I had heard bad things from people who stayed, but I read the current reviews and decided to give it a try. From the check in to the check out, it was a pleasant surprise. Yes, the hotel is older, but the room we were in was well maintained, clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was a surprise. Its not a 4 Star hotel, but it was well worth the money I paid.

Clean and close to shopping, Good breakfast for type, variety of food and good coffee. Would stay again.

the stay was ok but they double charged my account and this makes them a negitive reveiw from this customer

I thought the overall experience was adequate. Pros: The staff was pleasant and the location convenient. The adjacent steak house was excellent. Cons: A couple of people a roomd down were quarreling with relatives. The security removed them, but it was loud most of the night.

Very inexpensive, so it's a decent deal for the money. I come only to go motorcycle racing near here, so it's just sleep and leave. Come several times a year. Friendly and courteous staff. My only complaint is that my non-smoking room smelled badly of smoke. Happens a lot, more the fault of the people staying here than the hotel staff.

clean and comfortable but they had the AC shut and it was to hot in the room all night... it literally ran all night on high and was finally comfortable when it was time to check out in the morning...

Clean, comfortable room for two adults and two kids for an overnight stay. Close to restaurants and highway. Breakfast was sufficient. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. The room is dirty with bugs and hair from the previous tenants. When I work in this area I stay where ever it is the cheapest, but I may start investing more for a nicer place to stay.

I wil stay here again.The hotel was clean and the staff members I encounter were vert friendly.Thank You Ebony. There are several fast food restaurants that were conveniently located since we checked in a little later, about 8. Again thank you all!!!

There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the room had a smell to it, and it was outdated.

great hotel for the money. will stay there again ,Comfortable Quiet and Clean

And that is all I can say. When I first arrived my room door was open. There was no one in there but my room should have been locked! So with my bags and dinner, I had to walk downstairs and around the building to change my room. My room was changed, however when I got in the next room it was about 110 degrees in the room. It took all night to cool off. I would not stay again!

i was very happy with the stay at the innkeeper. very friendly place and the pool was great for my kids while we stayed.

I hated my room the whole ambiance of the hotel was horrible there were bugs burn holes in my sheets. The neighborhood was questionable I was afraid that at any moment John Gotti was going to come into my room and stretch me high and dry and scatter my body parts over the state of Virginia. I will never ever stay there again not even if I am on fire and this is the only place that could extinguish my fire. The Dean of Discipline

I was very impressed by the service I received at InnKeepers. I was there for the weekend and everything was just great. I had no problems or worries. I usually don't sleep well when I am out of town, however, that was not case. I am a parent of an Averett student and I highly suggest this location to other parents. You will not be disappointed. The continental breakfast was good too. I will be there again soon. Keep up the good work Innkeepers.

I checked in 4:30pm but the room wasn't ready. Ended up going to dinner first after a round of golf with no shower. Was inconvenient. Otherwise the experience was acceptable.

Happy with the stay and the comfort and welcoming of the staff. Comfortable surroundings and located with in minutes of anywhere we needed to go in town. The only thing that was upsetting was the power going out due to a storm and the entire phone system in the hotel being out of commission till the power returned.

Not glamorous, but a basically decent enough hotel that I use when going racing at the area's track. Inexpensive, so I recommend it for value. If I was going to be around the hotel for much of the day, I would choose something a bit more upscale.

I must say the room was wondeful

Many things were wrong with the room and the service. Stayed one night. Hotel management tried really hard to apologized, removed charges and gave voucher for future free stay, but nobody else in my party wants to stay there again.

I had to stay at this hotel for college graduation, the hotel is a little old, but looked clean. Well I woke up to a big surprise. Bed bugs! When I went to tell the desk clerk, she said they don't rent that room very often (222)! The hotel was not full so they could have given me a recently cleaned room! Apparently their cleaning schedule is not what it should be. When I spoke to the manager, he was rude, but did comp. the room. I will never stay here again!

Decent hotel for the price. Recommend the steak house right up the street.

This hotel is an older one but all in all it was clean although our non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. The staff was friendly but the morning of the event there wasn't any hot water for us or our friends in another room. Needless to say we weren't pleased with that. Also the night we stayed we decided to go out to dinner and when we came back there weren't any parking spaces. We circled the hotel and finally found a space behind it and we only had one car for two rooms.

The is a hangout and party hotel for locals. I had groups of people being loud and rough housing outside my door. I called the hotel staff 3 times and they wouldn't do anything about it. By 1:30am I concluded that I would not be able to get any sleep so I checked out and went to another hotel.

We stayed in Danville to attend a motorcycle race at near by (less than 30 minutes) Virginia International Speedway. The Innkeeper was easy to find and near many chain and local restaurants and near the airport. The pool was clean and a refreshing treat after a long day in the sun! The room had free wi-fi, lots of cable channels, clean and updated furniture and a jet tub in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room- including the refrigerator and microwave, were very clean. A full breakfast bar was served in the morning.

ven though it was an older hotel, it was clean and served our purpose. I will stay there again when I have to go that area. The continental breakfast was good and the staff were kind and professional! Location worked as it was near stores and lots of restaurants. Right next door to McDonald's for those with kids. There is also a movie theater not too far from the hotel.

I will definitely be staying at this hotel every time I go back, which will be at least twice a year for the next 4 years. It was very clean, spacious and near so many conveniences. The staff was so warm and pleasant, it made check-in after 4 hours of driving very nice and check-out fast & easy. The only thing I wish I had was a blow-dryer (smile), I'll know to bring my own next time.

If you're a traveler you know value, or lack thereof, when you see it. This place, while not high end, provides excellent value for the cost. The room was clean, a/c very cold, staff very courteous, and they went out of their way to help me during my stay. I asked for a late check out and it was no problem. Would I stay again? Absolutely!
