Tropicana Casino & Resort - أتلانتيك سيتي

I was there for a conference. Earlier in the week the hotel charged me $30 more than hotels.com for the oldest, dirtiest room in the place. I then decided to use hotels.com and it was the nicest, newest, cleanest room I've ever stayed at in that hotel.

Nice services, amazing casino, splendid ocean view and right on the boardwalk.

A 20 inch CRT TV is definately outdated.

I think the rooms are not very well maintained, especial li the bathrooms.

A bit old and run down unless you stay in Havana towers. Ok if you are on a budget. The night club providence was really empty on a Friday and the few people who were there were strange!

We stayed on a Monday and the rate (including all fees) was extremely reasonable. This is what made it acceptable for an overnight stay. Had we paid the weekend rates we would not have been happy at all. We were in the North Tower. Wallpaper was peeling on walls in halls and carpet was frayed. In our room the king sized bed sloped down to the middle. One of the end tables was missing its doors. The non smoking had a definite smokey flavor! Definitely in need of renovations. Lobby and other areas were fine. Had an excellent dinner in the Irish Pub.

I had a terrible stay....the check in desk didn't write the room number on my info and I had to return to desk cause I forgot then the north tower its abs that's what you see then they put me on the west tower.filthy rounds...filthy elevators and security checking people

It was OK, not great.

Rate was decent, but room was somewhat outdated - too much noise from elevator & ice machine - lacked mentioned amenities (flat screen tv) - missing pillows, room service menu/hotel guide - took room housekeeping 2hrs. to bring after requested - no "Do not disturb" provided, so housekeeping knocking on door at 8:30am - great restaurants & shopping in hotel, but not impressed by casino - many gaming machines under repair - no comp unless playing table games.

I kind of hesitated to book a casino hotel for a family vacation with 2 kids. However, everything turned out pretty good. When we checked in, the line was long but moved pretty fast. The only inconvenience was when I requested for a room close to the swimming pool, we were asked to pay an extra $22.80/day (for the South Tower). I'd rather pay this extra than to have my kids walk across the whole casino floor from our room to the swimming pool. My kids had a great time swimming in the indoor swimming pool, having ice cream in the Market, shopping in The Quarter and watching a movie in IMAX theater. We could have been entertaining without leaving the hotel! The boardwalk and the beach right across the hotel offered some fun too. Staffs and maids were courteous and efficient. In general, we were pretty satisfied with the stay.

the girl waied on us when we first got there she was very rude and did not go out hte way for service like the man did and she was not of standards considering the quality of the hotel

I would not stay here again. Lousy room service. Not such a good room.

Great view of the ocean, had great restaurants, shops, and the providence night club was epic. Very satisfied with my stay.

We were on the 33rd floor and the elevator noise was unbearable. Probably would of slept better at the airport. You could also hear people running up and down the stairs all night long. And our neighbors were slamming doors and talking in the hallway at 2AM for at least an hour and a half. Besides that, the rooms were clean and great but probably would not stay here again.

At check-in I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms available. I find that hard to believe in a hotel as large as this casino. The room was filthy (I found a beer bottle cap on the floor, so obviously never vacuumed). I am glad that I did't bring my wife on this trip. At 4 in the morning a group of drunks from across the hall came back with no key, they threw up in the hall and made all kinds of noise. I have stayed at the Tropicanna a couple of other times without any real issues. Do not stay in the West Tower.

It was great the only thing I dislike was the indoor size and cleanliness surrounding the pool no one cared about all the puddles and too small. Other things were great shops, casinos, arcade etc

great variety of restaurants and bars. comedy club was a terrific part of the trip.

The hotel itself was nice enough, but the marketplace stores were a huge ripoff. We paid $90 for a salad bar dinner that had TERRIBLE food! I've been to several casino hotels in Atlantic City, and Tropicana has been my least favorite. It's the first time I've ever been able to hear my neighbors through the walls in AC. We had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, and hotel staff still knocked on the door twice a day to see if we wanted the room cleaned, and once they actually entered the room while the sign was on the door. This is a good one IF you get a really good deal because it is right on the boardwalk, but keep in mind that it's at the very end of the boardwalk. If you want to be in the middle of it all, I suggest going to Bally's. It's much nicer, spacious, and modern with a better location.

This was our second visit and it was even better than the first one. We stayed in the North Towers, our room was clean and much more comfortable that the Havanna Towers. Will definately go again!

Other than the initial rudeness from the Valet and the front desk, and the lack of clear signs for the tower we were staying in (West Tower) the rest of the stay and the accommodations were great! Very convenient and had everything - restaurants, shopping, etc.

Nice place to stay for everyone. Traveled with my mom, my kids, & my brother and there was entertainment & food for all ages under one roof. IMAX & fun station were really nice for kids.

We had such a great experience that we stayed another night. The rooms were clean and the service was great. We will pick this hotel again on our next visit>

The west tower is run down and is in desperate need of a makeover. I wasn't impress with the cleanliness of the room. My husband was bitten by something in the room during the night. I don't think Im ever going back to this hotel in the future.

Was upgraded from double beds to king size at no extra cost. The room had great views and was very clean. Will definitely come again.

staff couldnt have been more helpful. Very pleasant in directing me. Very good resturants in the hotel. Ate at an irish pub and a seafood resturant and both were delicious. shopping for those of us who aren't interested in gambling. It was clean, comfortable. A bit of a walk from my room to the conference center. in the future i would look for a room in the tower closer to the meetings but other than that it was terrific. no complaints and would recommend it.
