Richmond Oceanfront Hotel - شاطئ ميامي

This hotel was a cute stay. A place to rest your head while on the strip. If you are into artsy hotels with an d school feel, than this hotel will suit you. It is definitely in a great location!! I love that it was inexpensive and still right on the beach. Only downside was the bar area around the pool boasted about a happy hour that did not occur.

we were on the ground floor and found it very noisy at night as it was the thoughfare of the hotel. too dear for wifi service.

The sheets were dirty, furnishing were old and outdated, had to unplug lamps and tv in order to charge our phones. Will not stay here again!

Overall a nice stay. Hot tub and direct access to the beach is definitely a plus. Otherwise, don't expect too much. Rooms are smallish, bathrooms are old fashioned (cute and clean though), and walls are thin - typical for art deco properties.

Convenient location, close to a whole bunch of restaurants and really good service at the hotel. Will definitely come back a second time. Perfect for a getaway, rooms are very clean, specially that. I recommend this place.

This was our first stay at The Richmond. The location is awesome. The front desk staff is friendly and the bellmen were helpful and exceptionally quick. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The pool view is gorgeous and relaxing. The only complaint I have is that I asked to borrow a pair of scissors that I would return as we were getting ready to check out. Unfortunately, I was told I would have to bring the item to be trimmed to the front desk as they only had one pair. I would hope for the amount we paid for our room that we could be afforded scissor rental. Please buy your staff more scissors.

First of all we had all that we wanted. Great hotel with a pool. Walking distance to beach. Had to pay 20$ for rental of chairs but that was ok - because once they were rented they were ours for the day. Make sure to keep the receipt with you because the beach staff is quick on trying to get their $$$ for the rentals. It had rained so we left the beach - once the rain stopped we went back and they wanted our $$ again. Luckily I did not get rid of my receipt. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We would stay hear again. We got what we paid for and we were really satisfied. We would definitely stay here again. Airport to hotel (between 35 $ and 40 $) - this hotel has no shuttle service.

The hotel staff were very helpful especially the front desk the room was clean and tidy it was very quiet with a nice outdoor pool and just 50yards from the beach.the hotel is very well situated in South Beach and i would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone my stay was very enjoyable.

Considering the price we spent on our four night stay here I wasn't expecting much, how wrong we were. The hotel was spotless and in a beautiful location. The staff were absolutely fantastic, helpful, friendly and made you feel welcome (especially the porters) and the rooms were cosy and well equipt. The pool was beautiful and only a 30 second walk to the beach. Will stay at the Richmond again for sure when we visit South Beach in the future. Very impressed.

The location of the Richmond hotel is fantastic. Immediate access to the beach and a few minutes to the Ocean Drive. Parking garage for $ 16 per 24 hours close by (Collins Avenue about 3 blocks south )

Hotel needs to have ESPN and movie channels.....

From the moment you walk in, everything about the place feels and looks like a hostel. Their is old carpeting throughout the hotel, the ceilings are very lower, the staff of the hotel isn't professional, the restaurants are sub par and the hotel rooms are very outdated. The positives are - it's in a great location - right on the beach and a few blocks away from Lincoln Road.

I made the choice to stay in the hotel based on location, very close to the convention center. The room was run down and the bed was very uncomfortable. The walls very thin and I could hear the guest next door to me snoring all night long. I supposed to stay 4 nights but left after two because I could not tolerate it anymore.

The service was terrible and the cleanliness around the pool area was non existent. Housekeeping comes around 5pm when your getting back from the beach. Terrible experience, Will never stay there again.

The Richmond is an older hotel that is very well kept. It had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. We didn't have a car and didn't even need one. There is plenty within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and most importantly the hotel was immaculate. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we travel back to the Miami Beach area.

Great stay. Room is comfortable, clean. Pool area is very nice and has a direct access to the beach. Walking distance to Lincoln Rd. Very attentive personnel, except for the two doormen the day we left...very unpolite. They need some training to keep up with the rest of hotel service.

The staff was fantastic! Out room had an odor of vomit. The room was not always restocked with toiletries.

Very nice hotel. Excellant staff. Stayed for two days during the Miami Boatshow. Met my expectations.

I was given a corner room at the front of the hotel. It had a nice layout and large closet. The front 1/2 of the hotel is classic deco with a smaller bathroom and original? tile, small sink, and replacement modular tub that suited me fine. The pool area was very nice with direct boardwalk access to beach where you can rent a chair and umbrella for $15. The downside is that the walls are thin and the windows original? so traffic noise and neighbors conversations are audible. Loved the location which was an easy walk to shopping, bars/restaurants, and the beach. Front desk personnel were nice.

Good location and priced right. I had booked the ocean view for 2 nights. However, the first night they booked me into a lesser room which I hadn't noticed because of the time of day. In the morning, I saw the view of the neighboring hotel's pool from the 3rd floor. So, the compensated me with free breakfasts and put me in correct room for 2nd night. The room was COLD. 64 F on the room thermostat. It's a dummy thermostat that I could not change! So, I phoned the desk and they said the temperature was centrally controlled. They sent a guy up who tried to close off the A/C vents to the room. With that and turning on light bulbs, temp went up to 68F after a while - cold but bearable. Still, no temp control to rectify 64F is unacceptable.

At the prive chatged other comparable hotels included breakfast. It would have been nice to have received such.

Location was good. Staff hospitality poor. Parking at $35 per day plus taxes plus valet was too expensive. Average room amenties.Paying $10 a day for internet was a plain rip off with free internet available on the street.

The hotel was in a prime location, valets were very friendly, but the rest of the staff not so friendly :-(. hotel itself was very dated, and very dirty in places. Bathroom clean, but bedroom and reception area, needs a clean ASAP!! Hotel quite noisy, thin walls and doors. Enjoyed Miami!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach. Very Nice Pool and Hot Tub area with ample lounge chairs and cozy red towels. GREAT VALUE!! The staff was very helpful checking in/out. Valet parking was convenient as well. Since it's an older hotel, the bathrooms are small, but it was clean. The bedroom was decorated in modern chic and the bed was very comfy with a down comforter. The room doors don't seal out the noise, so sleeping in was a bit of a challenge since we could hear the neighbors in the hall. Compared to other beach front hotels in the SoBe area, the Richmond is one of the best values!

Loved our stay at the Richmond Oceanfront. The staff were overly friendly and accommodating, very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, good food and lovely pool. The only improvement we would suggest are upgrading the pillows to down and fluffy... The room is a very generous size!! We would stay there again and just request additional pillows.

The walls are super thin. It sounded like the people next door were in our room-not very romantic. But we got another room and it was fine after

I loved the location, didn't like that they don't offer late check out, specially for a couple that was celebrating anniversary.

I sstayed here with my mom they gave us a room with one bed the room was decent size bathroom small not dirty but needed a little more 'attention to detail I found hair in the shower has LCD tv n small fridge nice pool front desk very good n helpful I'll stay here again only thing its a little wtalk to the strip

Picked this hotel because it was a great price and it seemed like a good location. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was located next to all the fancy hotels that we couldn't afford. Great pool, great beach access, very friendly staff. Room was a bit small and didn't have much of a view but we didn't really need it since we were only there to sleep. side note: We walked to the Delano for drinks ($40 for 2 with tip! ouch!), but it was very pretty. The staff at The Richmond was all really nice and very prompt with getting us a cab to the airport in the morning. Also, take the Airport Flyer from the airport for only about $2.35 each and it drops you off just steps away from the hotel in 30 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

Affordable and great location. Staff was really nice. Relaxing pool area w/ easy beach access. Great place for couples to spend an evening and go to beach and out for drinks and dinner, which were expensive but worth it. Overall it was a great experience!

Me & my boyfriend staying in this hotel in Sept 2012 for 3 nights and we found the staff extremely nice. The rooms were very clean and we had a great stay here. It was right on the beach & had a pool. It was right beside the Lincoln Rd area so only a short walk to all the restaurants & shop. Would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel.

This is a nice place to stay. Location is great for a good price. Thought the walls were a little thin and had a little problem with the A/C but overall a good value. would go again

Loved every minute of it! Great location and friendly staff!!!!! Poolside cook-out for Labor Day was delicious!

Good hotel, close to beach and main shops and bars. Pool was superb and quiet. Only complaint was that they lost my suitcase! They found it again (at the airport with another guest!) and they were far from apologetic. Soured an otherwise excellent stay.

The Hotel is a great value. It has a great pool and ocean access. The hotel people are very friendly and helpful. Its within walking distance fo the Lincoln Rd Mall and Ocean Drive.
