GREAT little stop b/4 airport... SMALL breakfast.. OKAY for me!! My only LITTLE complaint was CAPTIONS on T.V. NEVER came on t.v.

The customer service was not very pleasant. The rooms were not that clean. The hotel didn't have an elevator. That should have been mentioned on the website. The contiinental breakfast was below par. The water in the sink came out brown and had a fowl smell. I stayed alone at the hotel and having to go outside of the building to do my laundry and get beverages did not make me feel very safe.

Our flight out of OHare was cancelled until the next day, so we had to find a place to stay that wouldnt break the bank. Figured we have had good luck with Days Inn in the past, and the price was right we would give it a try. This hotel was very run down, noisey, and not very welcoming. The most concerning part of the stay was that the doors to the outside didnt lock! Anyone could have gotten in and been in the hallways. Good thing we had a chain lock on the door! Beds were small and hard... so needless to say, we got better sleep on the airplane the next morning. To sum it up... the best thing about this hotel was the location.

The room was clean and spacious. Bed comfortable. They had three donuts left around 8 AM for breakfast. so I had to pass on it. No cereal or fruits so I cannot call it breakfast. Friendly staff. I arrived after midnight and left early. Would consider this hotel if I got stranded at the airport again.

it's great. free airport shuttle was provided even though it was snowing heavily.

I don't understand all the negative reviews on hotels, unless people were having bad days. Overall great stay, great room, lighting could of been better, and my heater did make some noise but I found a solution by keeping it on the high setting.

This is not a four star hotel by any means but it's right next to Ohare and Schaumburg for any business or leisure trips you might take and not pay a lot to lay your head down. The staff is always capable and haven't encountered any issues regarding cleanliness the several times I've stayed here. Oddly enough, there's a spot for a mini fridge in one cabinet but didn't have one.

Very nice staff made us feel at home.

My family and I were not very pleased with our stay. When we arrived after midnight because of a late flight, no one was around for over 20 minutes of us standing at the check in desk, and all of the doors were left wide open and unsafe to the public. Then the following morning we had no water to brush teeth, wash hands shower ect..and i think after an experience like that the guests should be compensation.

The hotel was okay, affordable, and the location was acceptable to my needs. The only downside was the lack of convenient shuttle service except for one trip from the airport and one trip back to the airport.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. Rooms were clean, and location was perfect. Even though we were in the flight path for the airport it was not an issue. We would stay there again.

Don't do it! The Howard Johnson across the street looked waaaay better?!

This Days Inn did not live up to what we have come to expect from a days in hotel. The hallway was full of smoke from other guests and the carpets were filthy. Our first room had two televisions in it and neither one worked. The clerk at the front desk was MORE then courteous and immediately gave us another room and did what she could to make us happy and comfortable. The continental breakfast was also not up to what we had experienced at other Days Inn. Since this is an annual trip to Chicago for us. Next year, we will be more then likely to try another hotel. It is a bare bones stay. Nice place to sleep, but that is all.

Dirtiest, smelliest, creepiest, dumpiest, noisiest place. I still feel like I have bugs crawling on my skin!! Don't stay here! I would have asked for a refund, but I just wanted to get out of the place.

I was very happy to have chosen Day,s Inn. For travelers like my self may I suggest you incorporate a little map with your web site. Thanks again.

I was happy to stay in there. I stay one night but it was very good for me and my family.

The listed amenities included a spa in the fittness area, however, no spa was on the premise. We booked three rooms with 4 guests per room, but they only stocked 3 towels and washcloths in each room. There is no elevator, and the stairs are steep making it hard for seniors to climb. There was not much food for the continental breakfast, but the room was clean.

This hotel is nice and perfect for a night stay. Good service and nice continental breakfast.

for the price, this is a great value. The hallway smelled a little funny (chemical smell), but the room was big and comfortable enough. The staff was very friendly, and the room was super clean. I had to tweak the shower head a little to get a decent flow, but once that was done, it was a nice, hot shower. It's a five minute drive from O'Hare, so that's perfect. Definitely the best of the budget hotels near O'Hare at which I've stayed.

We got what we paid for. No pool or hot tub, no bacon egg omlet made for you, just a place to sleep. And it was that a place to sleep and take a shower. wasnt there much more than that.

The worst "hotel" I have ever stayed. Please please please do not consider this "hotel", Very dirty.

We just needed a place to stay near the airport as a stopover from a late flight. I chose the Days Inn due to the price and the free shuttle. The reviews were mixed but I went ahead and booked. We had an excellent experience. The shuttle was free and timely, the staff, especially Sunny, were very pleasant and helpful. With our Hotels.com reservation we got checked in, in about 3 minutes and were straight up to our room. The room was very clean, spacious and generally modernly decorated. The bathroom wasn't amazing, but perfectly nice with a great hot shower. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and will likely return to Days Inn at O'Hare/Elk Grove again (which is more than I can say for other airport hotels we've tried at O'Hare.

Satisfactory. Room, breakfast and airport shuttle OK. They want the shuttle to be used only for check-in and check-out. Why not allow guests to use it every day? International guests do not have cars. McDonalds next door was handy.

Smelly. Not a safe place

Wow I really have to laugh and say this hotel is pretty dingy. You get what you pay for I would considerate a motel really. I found a dirty sock left in the chair when I checked into my room so that told me no one really cleaned it. The furniture is really old and dirty but the room was a nice size. It's really far from the airport so dont let the name fool you. I staff was nice, so that was the best thing. It did take awhile before the shuttle van picked me up from the airport.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at!! Staff was rude the rooms were disgusting and the so called continental breakfast consisted of week old donuts and rotten fruit. I will never go there again!

Strongly recommend AGAINST this hotel. Their customer service is terrible, the hotel rooms are dirty and crummy. They claim (see below) that they have 24 hour shuttle service from/to the airport, but turns out they only have it during certain hours. Since I arrived during these off-hours, I had to pay a $20 taxi ride. Then, they claim "their website states these conditions", which is true, but NOT hotels.com, where I booked the hotel. I can understand this little misunderstanding, for which I am not responsible, but their attitude thereafter was simply unacceptable. Furthermore, you have to request the shuttle service 3 hours in advance! I did this, then they kept calling me (and waking me up) changing the pick up time back and forth. Finally, they were very rude in asking me to come down and take the shuttle, claiming it was in a hurry. I rushed to catch the shuttle, only to find a very relaxed driver and a couple passengers with absolutely NO hurry. Why were they waking me up and rushing me? In the end, I ended up spending the same I would have for a much better hotel, with convenient shuttle service, and good customer service. Even for this hotel's rate, there are much better options.

The staff was very personable and nice. The temp of my room fluctuated a lot, so thank goodness for the high quality AC. The building 'smelled' a bit old, but it was well taken care of. Overall, a pleasant stay. Shuttle to O'Hare and wifi were a plus.

For the price it is ok. But can improve the cleanliness little more.

Unless you are a smoker or like foul smelling indian type incense DONT STAY HERE!! I saw two rooms and if I weren't pushed for time I would have not stayed. Rooms were not clean and smelled bad. Van only runs once an hour so not very convenient. Very very low end motel.

A good basic hotel room. This was a "last-minute" trip for two nights and I didn't want to spend alot of money for a hotel room after paying for a last-minute airline fare. The room rate was very low, so I didn't expect the Ritz-Carlton. There is no closet. Instead there is a wall-mounted rack with clothes hangers. The Wi-Fi speed was OK and was reliable. There are several hotel wireless networks to choose from (Lobby, A, B, C). Just switch to a better network if you're having problems. I was able to download 25mb files in about 3 minutes. There is only one spare electrical outlet in the room (under the A/C unit) besides the outlet in the bathroom. McDonald's is literally right next to the hotel and is convenient for coffee, etc...
