Clean room, good service

My stay was nice, it has been renovated and I felt comfortable. However, when I arrived the room was not ready and it was past check-out time. Apparently, housekeeping hadn't started to clean the rooms. I had to wait another hour and a half for it to be ready. Otherwise than that it was a good place to stay, and the convience of location was perfect!

There were several La Quinta's to select from in the area. I choose this hotel because it stated Inn and Suites. Was quite disappointed it was not a suite. I also was disappointed that only the king room had a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was nice and courteous and explained but it was a let down.

No power to HVAC when we occupied the room. Sink drained slowly.

Bed was comfortable, convenient location. However, the hallway and our hotel room smelled like smoke even though we were in a nonsmoking room. Nonsmoking rooms should be on nonsmoking floors. Probably won't stay her again due to the smell of smoke.

I checked in on Friday night and experienced a great ease of checking in. I extended for Sat and Mon-Thurs with little or no problem. The only thing I can say about the property is the fact that it is a bit dated, and the hallways are kind if worn and run down

Overall, I was satisfied. The Waffle House next door was disorderly at times. Otherwise, all is O.K.

I was first placed in a room that had a gross looking bath tub but they were very polite and gave me another room, Bed- comfortable. Carpet felt oily.

Not the best of hotels. Halls had a smell. Breakfast was limited comparedto others

the staff was wonderful very friendly and helpful .room clean but had to ask for trash can and tv remoted for room ..and needed to re program key serveral time to get back in to room .. location was great on main street with any shopping or dinning option you could want......the breakfast was very disapointing ..no fresh fruit or yogart offered //what was offered was not very exciting but did have waffle house next door as option

The front desk gentleman (can't remember his name) was great! Even called to my room as soon as I checked in and wanted to know if the room was satisfactory! When we checked out, it was pouring rain and I didn't have an umbrella and a young lady working brought hers up and walked me to the car! Wow! Great customer service!

Room was supposed to be non-smoking, however it was or has been a smoking room. Although room was clean, hallways in the place needed some serious attention. Staff was efficient and pleasant. We were only stopping overnight for a little sleep to break up trip to Florida. It sufficed for our needs. Was all we could find on short notice. Location was a little farther from I-65 than desired.

The hotel is pver priced for what you get. But it will keep you outta of the rain.

Rooms were just fine however we only used one of the two rooms due to family illness. We weren't able to notify hotels.com in time so we just paid the price. However we were very satisfied with the accomodations.

I stayed because I had to travel from Nashville to take my board exams. The hotel was next door to the testing center. Very convenient and the staff was very helpful.

Hotel smells smokey. No other recommendations. Enjoyed stay.

The carpet was terrible .Other than that our stay was great .

The workers were very nice and hospitable.

All the staff were excellent!

The man at the front desk called us maybe half an hour after we arrived to make sure the room was okay. I've never had anyone do that before and was very impressed. Would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping was bad. Never made up my room the third day

Only one tiny garbage pail; selected a smoking room but no ashtrays were available. Front desk did not know where toothbrushes were.

1st room I was issued was clean...changed rooms because the bath tub was dirty. The second room was cleaner, but I almost slipped and fell in the tub because of the slope on the floor of the tub. It was the steepest slope inside a tub that I have ever seen. I really almost fell when I stepped out of the tub! Staff was friendly and changed my room without delay. Outside of the tub room was good.

My stay was pleasant. I only needed the room for sleeping at night. The heat and z/c worked very well. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I really like the good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was very good, too.

only problems I had was slow wi fi, and lousy breakfast items. staff was friendly/ bed was very comfortable and retro decor of t the room and lobby was very attractive

The bathroom was not adequately cleaned during my stay at the hotel. The bath tub was filthy and the toilet seat was as well.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, and the location was convenient. There was a bit of a mildewy, old smell in the hallway, but, other than that, I was very satisfied with my stay.

I read the reviews before booking this room for my mother and assumed it was going to be good. My mother became ill and couldn't make it so I stayed there one night and was so glad my mom did not stay there. Hotel is run down and nothing that you'd feel comfortable in. Needs to be renovated. I will never use this hotel again. After hearing and looking into this hotel ratings further - I uncovered they are ranked 51 out of the 51 hotels in Huntsville. Not good.

A customer-friendly staff and nice place to stay that is only 5 minutes away from Cummings Research Park.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was all we needed and was very good. I have stayed twice and would stay again if ever in Huntsville for another visit.

Excellent customer service! We had a problem with the air not getting cool enough in our room...they moved us immediately...and we slept in comfort! They are very affordable...comparable to a motel-6, but nicer! The beds were pretty nice for the price, and our room was CLEAN. They have a pet policy and allow pets...but I did NOT see any other signs of people staying previously with pets...no hair, no itchy feeling, no spots on the floor. The stairwell was a little dirty...not too bad...but then again, I had two giant dogs with me! A+ for a surprising price! Comparable to a Holiday Inn Express...only cheaper. Close to Chili's, Friday's, Newk's, and Waffle House next door. Other restaurants in the area...pretty close to the Von Braun Center...about 5 min.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, then this is your place. The upgrades to the rooms from what they were when it was a Baymont Inn have done it some justice, but you get exactly what you pay for. Hallways that smell like cigarettes even though you requested a Non-Smoking room, your room entrance through the bathroom, room service coming every other day.

The room was dirty...I took a wet wash cloth to the floor...and it was black with dirt. HIghly recommend that the hotel shampoo their carpets. By the way...TV was excellent...food was excellent...staff was attentive. Ken
