I was there for just one night. The hotel Manager was very helpful.

was a great place to stay

Stay was brief but had quality service. My late check in was great and staff was curteous and pleasant! Thanks for the late check out too.

The staff was wonderful. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Even in the breakfast room in the morning, a very cheerful staff member was offering to make waffles for people as they came in, and chatted with those who had been there for a few days. However, while the hotel was plastered with "No Smoking" signs, the whole place reeked of stale cigarette smoke. When we got into our room, someone had turned the heater on and set the thermostat as high as it would go, making the smell worse. The windows were bolted locked, so we were unable to open it and get any fresh air. It's been four days and we are still all stuffed up from the smoke.

We stayed overnight on our trip to smokies..... real hard time finding the location though...but once you get there its a pretty decent setup. Good rooms, nice lobby and very well maintained.

The employees were very friendly, and let us socialize in the breakfast area till the wee hours.

Clean and adequate for a short stay

A very pleasant stay. Breakfast was GREAT! Staff was friendly and efficient.

Bathtub had stains. Didn't look as though anyone had cleaned from previous guests, and bare minimum toilet paper. Cold draft coming from window which made heater stay on constantly. Bed sagged. However, there were clean sheets on bed. Lady at front desk was friendly.

Good job guys... I'll be back. Indy non-smoking ..sucks.

Perfectly adequate for the price. My wife found the bed uncomfortable (lumpy?) and I found it small, but I could have used the other bed alone and had plenty of room. Breakfast was adequate but limited (carbs rather than protein) Halls and public area were not as clean as the rooms. HVAC worked well and was controllable. No noise, odor, or plumbing problems. Staff was pleasant. We were looking for a safe, no-frills stop on a longer trip, and that's exactly what we got. We've used La Quintas in Indianapolis before and will again.

Upon arrival the check in attendant was sitting on the counter texting on her phone. During the check in process she kept complaining about how she did not feel good...not professional at all. The hotel was suppose to be completely non-smoking but the halls reeked of smoke. The rooms were cheaply upgraded, the toilet literally rocked when you sat on it, the green carpet was practically gray around the perimeter of the room it had been so long since they had been swept and the shower curtain had "something" on it I would rather not think about what it was....The only plus was the Cracker Barrel was within walking distance. With the condition of the hotel there was no way we were going to eat the free breakfast. Very disappointed. We have stayed with this chain in other states and have always been very satisfied - this establishment does not live up to the name at all.

Very clean. The amenities for the cost were excellent. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel right off of the highway. Was a perfect location and clean hotel.

I really enjoyed the friendly staff and convenience of the location.

Staff were outstanding. Went out of way to help or even say hi or good morning. When I needed a cab I called the desk and they called ahead for me. Nothing was a problem just very helpful. Courteous and professional. What more can I say.

We asked for a non-smoking room, ended up with a non-smoking room that smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes. The staff was friendly and helpful, they tried their best to accommodate us but had to move us to a room with fewer beds due to being fully booked. The hotel is conveniently located.

We were going to a concert & just needed a clean place to sleep. We were very pleased! The bed was comfortable & everything was clean! Most of the staff was very nice. We met employees in the hall & they were very friendly. Our only complaint was the "breakfast" provided & the staff taking care of it. The coffee was almost empty & was old and the orange juice was empty. When my husband asked for some the woman smarted off and told him he would have to wait. We left and went next door to eat. We attend concerts often and will stay here again! (just plan to eat elsewhere).

Excellent sevice. The woman at breakfast room made us som fresh waffles. Too bad that there was no fridge in the bedroom

The only complaints I would have is that the door card did not work the first try and that the breakfast started too late for us (7:00 AM on Saturday).

This hotel claims that it has free wifi, however, the wifi didn't work, and when I brought this to the attention of the clerk, I was told to call the technical support number for their wifi provider. I did that, and spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone in India, who eventually told me that there was something wrong with the routers at the hotel, and that they would contact the hotel to advise them. That apparently didn't happen, at least in the 12 hours or so that I was there. Also the bath tub was dirty, having numerous little black hairs in it.

The location was very convenient for meeting with family in Indy. Nice spacious and comfortable room, including a soft recliner. Pleasantly surprised to be greeted for breakfast by a hostess, "Would you like me to make you a waffle?" She then brought it to our table with utensils. I can't tell you how many waffle failures I have had at self-serve breakfasts at other hotels!

Given the low cost and the fact that I didn't have a single problem, I enjoyed my visit. I will probably be staying here next year if the competition is in the same area.

Okay overall...based on the price

The bathroom is very small and has an exceedingly loud fan (one switch for lights/fan). The next room's fan was left on and kept me awake all night. Main doors are also very thin.

room smelled of smoke and animal odors

I paid for a non smoking room with a king size bed on hotels.com but got the last room the hotel had which had a full size bed. The room was clean other than the shampoo and soap on the bathroom floor but that was no big deal

the hotel was very kind to my pet and no extra pet charges. The room was very clean and smoke free. It was conveniently located next to I-70.

Hotel staff was great and very helpful. Only complaint is that the shower surround has some cracks and wear marks. This hotel is an older hotel, but was just fine for our stay.
