This hotel has outstanding outside space, the pools, grounds and beach areas are 10 out of 10. Also,the service is truly magnificent, the staff are wonderful. My only moan is the building work around the hotel, but that is not the hotel's fault. I am definitely going back, cannot wait.

We read about this hotel before and had high expectations but I think this was an ordinary hotel. We stayed at the Club building and it had poorly rooms. The reception and staff was lazy and tired. When we arrived 2 in the morning our room was not prepared. We and our kids was tired and we waited two hours before everything was set up. In bed 4 in the morning. We have to call and remind them twice. Nice pool area and garden but room and staff in Club was not worth the money. We moved to Jumeirah beach hotel. It was like night and day.

Wow, we had the most amazing time there and can't wait until we can get back there. Everything was wonderful

Have stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years, the standard of accomodation is excellent but most importantanly the staff are the most courteous, providing the best service to the guests that I have ever experienced around the world, many of them having worked at the hotel for many years, always remembering you when you return.

We were looked after very well by the staff. This is a very special hotel.

The staff at this hotel can only be described in superlatives. The room is fantastic and we were upgraded only because it was 3 AM in the morning and i said that we have been travelling for 17 hours (true). The only problem to consider, if at all, is the location of the property. the property is approximately 40 AED (Dirhams) from the nearest large size mall. and almost everything else. So, if you are doing a lot of city or in town meetings or shopping, then it starts to become a hassle and that too an expensive one. That aside, i rate my experience very high.

We stayed here as the third stop on our honeymoon, and this was by far the most expensive hotel. Unfortunately it was also our least favourite. For the money charged and the reputation held by Le Royal Meridien, we were expecting much more from our stay. Anyone that has been to Dubai will know that nowhere is really ideally located because everything is just so far away, no mater where you stay, unless you are willing to stay within your resort and not see the rest of the city, and Le Royal Meridien is no different. The hotel staff were mostly courteous, but not overly friendly, with the exception of the breakfast staff who seemed to hold the crockery and cutlery in higher regard than their customers, and they regularly barged into people whilst clearing tables. For a hotel in this class, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a first rate service at all times, and this is just not the case at Le Royal Meridien. On the plus side, the Rhodes20 restaurant was stunning, the excellent food was matched by the superb service offered by their staff. Given the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable. Our room was adequate, but not particularly spacious. We chose this hotel over others partly because none of the reviews here seemed to indicate that it was a family-oriented hotel. However, most guests were staying with young children, which made relaxing by the pool somewhat challenging. If you are looking for a decent place to stay but don't mind paying over the odds, this might be the place for you. If you are after first rate service, a good price, no screaming children or a great room, there are other places you should try. Very little about this hotel, other than the private beach which we avoided due to the aforementioned young families, distinguishes it from 3 or 4 star hotels in Dubai.

I have stayed at Le meridien previously. It is a little way up J Beach and so cheaper than those closer to all the action. The hotel is full of the luxuries one would expect from a top class Dubai hotel with lots of marble and big comfortable rooms and public spaces. However three issues for any would be visitor to bear in mind: 1. Location - the hotel is currently in the middle of a building site. The work starts at 5.30 am each morning. The building is likely to go on for quite a while as the world financial crisis has severely hit Dubai which has slowed down the pace of work. This is written in mid 2011 and the building right next to Le Merideien had only just had its foundations completed. My guess it will get worse. Get ready for an early start. When the building work finishes and IF the buildings get full then the hotel will be surrounded by a residentail tower block jungle. Not the most pleasing of sights from the beach. Plus the possible issue of crowded beaches - which in Dubair of course seems strange ! 2. Food prices in the hotel - The hotel charges very high prices for in hotel dining (ie its restaurants). For example an ordinary four cheese pizza was US Dollars 30. The food is simply on par with other Dubai hoels no better nor worse, but I was shocked at the high prices charged. 3. Pool hours officious staff - I visited during July which meant it was too hot to be outside for more than 15 minutes during daylight and so decided to bathe in the pool after sunset as I normally do in the Gulf in the summer. However all three pools were closed at 15 minutes after sunset sharp and rooped off by a chain wire. I was told I could not use the pool and that also I could not use the beach to swim ! One of the staff said that it was illegal to swinm in the sea at night and so I checked with the front desk who told me that it was not illegal but the hotel did not like nor wish you to do so. The water at night is wonderful and I would recommend a warm night dip

This hotel is everything you need for a relaxing stay in dubai. Always friendly staff and always very clean, facilities also outstanding!

Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort And Spa is a great place however I faced small problem but it surely irritated me : First problem was that I booked for deluxe room sea view. But it seems they have overbooking issue or something like that. So they have moved me-without telling me- to a suite but city view. Although I have contacted them to tell them to arrange the room because I was celebrating my weeding anniversary and they say they will do it and it will be ready when I arrive. Instead of getting what I asked for, I got a room with a view to engines and fans more than it was a city view. So I told them that I want the sea view and I'd like to move back to my old room they said okay but tomorrow at 12 o’clock I was tired so I agreed. But next day they didn’t move me until it was 3 p.m although they have confirmed that my room will be ready at 12 o’clock several times in the morning but it wasn’t.

Good Hotel grounds are excellent. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Resturants were excellent standard. Not So Good Room we stayed in (club) was dated and had a bad odour (like dampness) Food & Drink little expensive

Despite a "misunderstanding" concerning which type of rooms we had booked, we had booked sea view and were offered only inland view on arrival which are ok if you want more space but not for the view, the hotel management resolved eveything, found our sea view accommadtion and offered us a dinner in one of the hotels excellent restaurants on the house. This is a great hotel with very high service standards in a fabulous location on the beach. Highly recommended.

Compared to some of the more modern hotels in Dubai this one is now a bit dated and starting to fray at the edges. We visited over the easter holidays and the place was full of noisy kids. Did not find the staff particularly friendly. In the club lounge there are 2 senior members of staff......the shorter plumper one is superb and the thinner taller one is positivly rude. I dont know why he works in the most up market area of the hotel.

“No (Club) Room at the Inn?” There’s no doubt that this is an impressive hotel where customers can enjoy first class service (from poolside, to beach to bar through to restaurant). The cleanliness of the hotel is undoubtedly unmatched as is the attention to detail. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for staff and those who experience The Club Lounge will enjoy a ‘never empty glass’! Arriving at this hotel at Christmas time, guests will be suitably impressed with the ambiance created by candles etc and the Christmas trees in reception make the one donated to the UK each year from Norway look like a mere seedling! We have been coming to Dubai for Christmas for the last couple of years and given the Scottish winters it’s truly recommended. The only “but” for this Hotel is that when we checked in we were allocated a room in the main building but we were assured that it attracted the same benefits, layout, package, etc as a Club Room which we’d booked. We did though have to take this on trust since you don’t know what you don’t know! Generally, Club Rooms are located outiwth the main building which is where the (less busy and more relaxed atmospherebreakfast is located for Club Room guests as well as the Club Lounge. One of the hotel managers, however, quickly responded to the situation the following day and offered us a complimentary meal in the Hotel’s Seabreeze Resturant which again was very nice. If I were to choose to stay in this hotel again though I’d need an assurance that we would be allocated the room which we’d booked and located with other Club Rooms. Having read some other reviews, it appears that there is an over booking system and policy and so anyone arriving in the early hours of the morning (we arrived at 2am in the morning and will do in subsequent years as there’s only one flight to be had from Glasgow) could run the risk of not getting their choice of room allocated. Finally, and a message to hotel management reading this review, it would be

This hotel was outstanding, the people were courteous to a t, grounds immaculate, everything you could ever want from a holiday is at this hotel. I travel all over the place and always try to find a decent hotel never booking less than a 4 star wherever I go but this knocks spots of them all! On arrival we were upgraded to a suite it was out of this world fantastic panoramic balcony with a guest room!!! Food was first class. Could not fault this hotel you will be hard pushed to beat this for service, value, quality of rooms and the selection of food on offer. We did 2 nights here and 2 nights in Atlantis the palm, I wished I had done one night in the Atlantis and3 nights in the Royal meridien as this was a stopover on the way to Singapore . You must see atlatis it would be silly not to and if you have the chance stay there but the royal meridians attention to detail and the feeling that you are the top johnny are second to none. If I ever go back to Dubai I will definitely stay there forget the rest this ones the best. Atlantis is big bold and flashy but the royal meridian is right up my street classy sophisticated and top of it's tree.

I travel around the world frequently on business and pleasure and while this hotel may not be the most famous, it is certainly one of the best. I stayed for 7 nights combining business and pleasure and everything about the hotel and the service was perfect. I paid for a Club room, but on check-in I was upgraded to a beautiful Tower Room. All facilities, restaurants and service was superb and I would love to return. Having previously lived in Mexico for over 5 years I can especially recommend the Mexican restaurant 'Maya', which with it's Mexican chef is very authentic and amazingly good value. This is the first time I have given a hotel 5* across all review questions, reflecting a fantastic hotel and superb service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My husband and I have staeyed at LRM before and think it's great. However, this time I was on my own and had forgotten to bring my credit cards - all I had was my husband's debit card. Reception made a huge fuss that they could not accept it for security deposit for hotel services and meals although they happily accepted it for payment. On my first night I did charge a meal at the Grosvenor House to my room and then received a call from reception at midnight demanding I come downstairs straight away to pay for it! Then they pushed the bill under my door and left messages for me to report to reception. Ridiculous - did they think I was going to run off after fully prepaying a 3-night stay? Service around the pool was poor. I returned to my lounger after waiting 15minutes to order a drink only to have the attendant berate me in front of other guests for not waiting at the bar to sign the bill. I responded to this in no uncertain terms - did he expect me to waste anothe 15 minutes waiting to receive the bill? I don't know if it's an attitude toward women on their own but I was very disappointed at the general level of consideration I was given - even down to trying to fob me off with a different room to the one I had paid for. This was all very different from when I was there with my husband. Otherwise, everything is 5* except the buffet food (spectacular buffet at the Grosvenor House - go there!) and the service which, on this occasion, I felt aggrieved by.

Mkt bra läge vid stranden, stort utrymme, gott om plats tex alltid lätt att få solstol. Ypperlig service, mkt trevlig personal. Allt är super bra , Kanske lite dyrt , men man får massor för pengarna.Har bott här 4 ggr.

hotellet er er vedig fint og veldig bra beligenhet,, vi oppfatter hotellet litt for stort, da alt er stort og avstandene blir betydlige... ellers er hotellet veldig veldig bra

Vi kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell till envar som söker ett femstjärnigt hotell med rimliga priser som har fantastiska pooler och möjlighet till havsbad. Vi har bott på många hotell runt om i världen och vi intyga att servicen på Le Royal Meridien är den bästa vi har upplevt. Frukostbuffén var enorm och höll väldigt hög standard.

Замечательное расположение отеля. Рядом променад с магазинами и кафе. На мой взгляд недостаточное количество лежаков на пляже, но возле бассена всегда можно найти место. Приветливый персонал, есть русскоговорящие девушки на ресепшн. Жили в основном корпусе, обедали в основном ресторане, цены "кусаются", но обильный шведский стол, все очень вкусно. Рекомендую этот отель для отдыха, но лучше избегать праздничных дней, отель переполнен. Для семей с детьми очень удобно и есть чем заняться. В следующий раз поеду сюда же.

ALT, stort set, var i orden på hotellet. Service var i top. Restauranterne fantastiske. Det var imidlertid skuffende og utilfredsstillende at min 13 årige søn, end ikke under ledsagelse af mig, måtte få adgang til spa- og fittness områderrne.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο, κάθε euro το παίρνεις πίσω σε υψηλού επιπέδου υπηρεσία. Καθαρό, με καταπληκτικές εγκαταστάσεις, αξιοπρόσεκτα είναι τα πολλά και διαφορετικής κουζίνας εστιαστόρια, το απίστευτο και μεγάλο γυμναστήριο. Φοβερή ιδιωτική παραλία και τεράστιοι κήποι. Η διοίκηση δεν τσιγκουνεύεται τίποτα, δωρεάν νερά, φρούτα, γάλα για το μικρό. Από τα καλύτερα "In Room Dining" που έχω δεί. Δε μου άρεσε που οι μυρωδιές από τα εστιατόρια διαχέονται στο lobby τα ασανσέρ και τους διαδρόμους, θα πρέπει να φροντίσουν για αυτό.

Ich war bereits einigemale in Dubai und kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen: schöner Strand & Pool Anlage, super Fitness Studio, toller Wellness Bereich. Große Auswahl an Restaurants. Hohes Services Level. Zusammengefasst -- sehr zu Empfehlen!

Au préalable, il est nécessaire de préciser que le tarif de l'hotellerie à Dubai est élevé, comparable à Paris ou New York. Donc en terme de rapport qualité prix le Royal Méridien est correct, mais ne correspond pas à mes attentes. Les +: Chambres "Tower", avec vue latérale jardin, agréables et calmes. Belle superficie du jardin et des piscines. Très belle plage. Bon service hotelier (acceuil, propreté des chambres, room service pour le petit déjeuner, conciergerie). Les -: Chambres "Tower", avec vue latérale mer, à fuir à cause du chantier qui jouxte l'hotel et qui durera encore au moins un an. Heureusement j'ai pu changer pour une vue jardin. Restauration: déplorable et chère. Lounge: personnel sympha mais ma cantine est plus jolie. En résumé, pour une escapade romantique, j'ai été déçu et je regrette d'avoir été pingre dans mon choix d'hotel. A refaire, j'irais au "one and only Mirage" ,ou mieux "one and only Palm" où nous sommes allés diner à deux reprises et qui tout simplement exceptionnel.

I was on vacation without company and wanted to have a few quiet days; this hotel could have been perfect! Friendly personell and great location, fantastic breakfast buffet and everything you need in the room, well equipped gym and several restaurants (which I did not try) within the hotel. Unfortunately this hotel is popular among a certain type of quite "blunt" clientele so I would not return.
