comfortable room to stay,no complain for hotel

Good location for bars and restaurants around Remedios Circle, short taxi ride to many sights and great service makes Pan Pacific an unbeatable choice in Manila. The butlers go out their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but the view over Manila Bay while taking a bubble bath in your own room make up for it.

Beautiful hotel lobby with reception set to the left. As soon as you enter you notice the butler service this hotel prides itself on. Doors are opened for you, bags are taken and you're assisted witch check-in. Lobby is spacious and very clean. Lifts are glass so you can see more of the hotel as you ascend. Rooms are big and clean. Butler service is only ever a call away. Complimentary water (unlimited). Inside the hotel building, coffee-shops, restaurants, poker machines and in-house restaurant on level 21 (Cost is rather high for food inside the building). Outside - Within 100 Meters there's 10+ other restaurants and convenience stores. Further down the road there's Robinson's Mall (less than 5 minute walk). No problem bringing outside food in to the hotel. Overall very good and clean. Free daily newspaper is a nice touch. Some small brown stains on the bathroom floor but otherwise very good.

... which has a limited selection for dinner and isn't of the requisite quality for a hotel of this calibre. The staff there are great but the menu selection and execution of the dishes was disappointing.

This is my second stay here,very good staff...willing to help you anytime..keep up the good works... God Bless...

Pretty good hotel but the shower didnt work properly apart from that it is all good... nice view, nice neighbourhood, the rooms are big, it has a minibar service, it is equipped with a work desk and free internet... the bathroom is quite big and has both a bathtub and a shower (which didnt work right, the temperature for it changes at complete ramdom) overall experience is pretty good. coming in my next review : Diamond hotel and their "Not allowed policy"

The hotel is 2 min walking to Robinson mall and hyatt hotel

This is one of the best hotels in Manila The price is very conservative. The staff are very professional and go out of there way to ensure your stay is what you expect. I strongly recommend this hotel to all.

Room rate is way overpriced as compared to other high end hotels. I stayed at Holiday Inn Clark and Hotel Intercon Makati during this trip, and value for money on these hotels is so much better. Front desk staff tried to over pice me with the room upgrade I purchased and would not give me the same ammenities and charged me for checking in early! Would never go back there and would tell all my associates about it.

very nice hotel

I am very glad that I chose this Hotel, it was in the upper price range for Manila, but well worth it. Staff were over the top. Great location, my girlfriend I went walking and two blocks north, there was a pavillian with live music, food, and cocktails. Completely safe to walk all around. Robinson Mall just two blocks north. When in Manila, this is my hotel of choice.

This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of midtown Manila. A true refuge from a busy city, teaming with life. The service and quality of accommodation was excellent. I stayed there for nearly 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort it provided. Everything thing needed, including beautiful views of the city, in room WiFi with no additional charge, a nice rooftop pool and exercise room. Very pleasant and peaceful.

Nice facility and friendly providers.

Pay a bit more, and get much higher quality at Hyatt nearby, next time.

Service is top notch. Internet connecting speed is very high. It is well worth spending the $$ for b-fast on top floor - approx $900 pesos if not included in your room price. workout facilities are great. Pool is nice. Be careful about getting any car recommendations from staff - they grossly overcharge every time - much better to get a metered cab just outside facility. Highly recommend the hotel.

Property not up to standards of other Pan Pacifics I have stayed at. Excellent service. Will not give credit in Loyalty Program for rooms not booked directly with them.

This is a high class hotel. Everything is taken care of. The staff is trained and everything feels good. Almost too good, lols. I left my 12000kr laptop in the lobby when going to the restroom, no worries. Safe as the bank. If you like luxury, just go.

I liked Pan Pacific hotel. Excellent location. There is no need for taxi - you can walk everywhere. Fast checkin and checkout. Average size room. It was nicely decorated, good lighting and has everything you may want. A huge plus for me was unlimited fast wi-fi internet. All other hotels in Malate that I stayed in, charge extra (astronomical prices: 1 day hotel internet charge = 1 month broadband internet in the US). Excellent breakfast - you can even have sushi if you want. Bathtub with TV. Free toilettries, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobes, large size safe can hold netbook. Fully stocked minibar. One minor detail regarding the shower. It is outdated, static shower head sticking from the wall. They need to upgrade that to the sliding shower bar that has a showerhead on a handle so you may adjust the height and/or remove the handle, wait for the water to get the right temperature and have a better control of your shower.

From the minute they picked us up with the hotel car pick up service to leaving with the airport drop off was an absolutely breeze and felt very welcomed and pampered. Their hospitality was wonderful and service 5 star. We upgraded to an Executive Room & it was spacious with the wonderful view of Manila Bay. We loved the floor to ceiling windows. Used room service for breakfast, which was always well served and good quality. The staff were always polite and professional. We were on holidays and the location was very convenient. I loved being able to walk to Robinsons Mall (excellent shopping centre) and also walked down to Manila Bay. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. They experience staying at this hotel far exceeded our expectations.

The hotel staff, services, and amenities were all top notch. A lot of pride is evident in the staff's attention to detail and quick response time to any request. The only negative point during my stay involved the ride to the airport. I arranged car serivce through the concierge and was told my friend would be able to ride to the airport with me and the driver would return her to the hotel at no extra charge. As a thank you for having the extra time with her, I tipped the driver at the airport however I found out later he also charged her for the return trip. Overall not a deal breaker for deciding where to stay on my next trip, but it is an annoyance and something to be on the lookout for.

We were extremely pleased with the entire staff at the Pan Pacific Manila. They were courteous, efficient and helpful. The hotel is so beautiful and luxurious in the inside, which was a striking contrast to the neighborhood. From the hotel's roof top terrace we saw a sign for a mall and decided to walk over to see the inside. It was only a block and a half away. Inside we found a large array of contemporary stores and a variety of restaurants. A nice place to eat to avoid the high cost of the hotel meal prices; however, I would not make the trip to the mall at night!

I stayed at the Pan Pacific for a few days before and after a trekking trip in the Banaue tribal region of northern Luzon. Hoped it would be a bit of needed luxury after the trip. It lived up to my every expectation and more. Great staff and service, and great location for restaurants, entertainment and shopping. A little more expensive than other hotels in the area but well worth the extra. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay; within walking distance to the bay and a mall. Stay away from hotel taxi, which will charge a lot more to go to the Mall of Asia and to the airport. Just go outside, grab a street taxi, and the cost savings is tremendous. Also, they have a great breakfast buffet, but much cheaper if you get it as part of your package deal.

nice location. This is said to be one of tourist area. Hotel staff were very friendly. Over all this is one of the best hotels in the area.

My girlfriend and i stayed at Pan Pacific only 1 night, but really enjoyed it! The customer service was second to none, and the room was better than we thought it would be. Pan Pacific hotel is not directly on the coast strip (Roxas Blvd), but it is just a block or two down, and far enough to avoid even more traffic. The only bad experience we had was the DVD player stopped working when we tried to watch a movie before falling asleep. So the repairmen had to come to our room at 2am to try and fix it...only to spend 30 minutes without doing so, and just bringing up a brand new player instead. Other than that, our stay was excellent. I will definitely choose Pan Pacific again if we ever want to visit metro Manila another time.

As always, another delightful stay at Pan Pacific Hotel Manila. Not only is it a very beautiful establishment with a very updated and trendy room design, the biggest reason I keep coming back is the SERVICE. I've stayed at other (much higher priced) hotels in Manila and elsewhere and while they are also really beautiful and breathtaking, the service is not to the level of detail as at Pan Pacific. I just can't speak highly enough of the personal butler service -- they really assist you with ANYTHING you need and they do so in such a way that it's not intrusive or interfering with your privacy or comfort. i will definitely be staying at Pan Pacific again -- I've searched around enough and I've found the best value & service. No reason to search elsewhere! :)

My stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel was just great - everyone was so friendly and anxious to help in any way possible. They arranged all my tours, gave all the advice that I asked for, and I can hardly wait to go back again.

I was impressed with the hotel,the employees are well trained in customer service, especially the butlers. It's a luxury accomodation in a not so impressive location,however if your looking for convenience for shopping, restaurant, bars, casino, sight seeing this is the place to stay. I recommend it.

Staff were superb and accommodations in general were excellent. Price did NOT include complimentary breakfast OR wifi access. So I spent some extra change on those features. Also, surrounding Malate area rather trashy with LOTS of hustlers, beggars etc.

Hotel staff tops customer service. They made us feel "at home".

We booked through hotels.com and got a great advance purchase special. The hotel was fantastic, new rooms, flat screen tv's (with all the hookups if you wanted to jack in your laptop - cables were even provided). Mall is right next door but you will have a little walk to other places, though since public transportation is great that isn't a problem. Customer service was great, room was comfortable (bed is softer), and views were nice. Highly recommended.
