Hotel Brittany - باريس

أقمنا فيه أنا وزوجتي من الجمعة إلى الاثنين. كان الطاقم لطيفاً جداً ومتعاوناً. الغرف صغيرة، نظيفة، مريحة. الصيانة المستمرة للفندق أعطت طابعاً "غير مكتمل" لكل شيء. اللإطار يتكون من الأمور الأساسية لكنه مناسب. الموقع مثالي وتوجد فيه مقاهي وبارات ومطاعم كلها متاحة وعلى مسافة قريبة سيراً على الأقدام. المترو عند الزاوية بالفعل. محال التسوق قريبة من الشارع الرئيسي. ولكن شعرنا أنه إذا كان الفندق ينفيذ الصيانة وكامل المرافق غير متاحة هذه المرة فيجب أن ينعكس ذلك على السعر. عدا ذلك فيسعدنا بأن نوصي بهذا الفندق.

Hotel is situated in walking distance of some of the attractions(if you like walking, about 20-30 min from Louvre and Basilique, some nice parks 10-15 min away), there are some great restaurants around the hotel with a pizza place that is great(literally best pizza i had in years) just on the left of the hotel. Service was great, and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Only downsize was that the rooms themselves aren't very big(there ok sized, no running around space though, depends if you get bothered by that), however that is quite the same in any Paris hotel.

I needed a hotel for an overnight stay in Paris. I didn't want to pay a lot, but I wanted something that was close to the main attractions. The Hotel Brittany accomplished just that. The prices were very reasonable and was just a short walk from most the major attractions or transportation.

The front desk staff are all very friendly and speak English. They gave us a room before the check-in time which was great after a long trip. This hotel is very close to the Metro line 12. Safe area to walk at night, there are a few bakeries and supermarket in the area. Overall great experience.

Hotel delivered good value at the price. Front desk manager was very helpful in trying to help us rebook our flight when we were stranded due to snow. Some good local restaurants within 5 minutes walk

The hotel is older, but clean and kept-up. The elevator is tiny. 2 people have to be close to fit in it. The neighborhood is very nice, and close to several metro stations.

This was a great Hotel only about a 15 minute walk from the Gare du Nord train station and metro stops just around the corner, the hotel is on a quiet street but just around the corner are plenty of cafes. The room and bathroom were plenty big enough and the bed was very comfortable which was good after those long days walking around, there is no view from your window but who cares, how long are you planning to actually stay in your room. The breakfast was basic continental, cereal, juice (some of the best orange juice i've had) bread, yogurt, fruit and some pastries, and ham and cheese slices it was good enough to start the day and hold you off for a couple hours. I would definitely stay again.

I booked this hotel at a special rate, which was not refundable, therefore they charged me for the 3 nights about 1.5 months before we actually stayed there. Nonetheless, they received us well and helped our non-French speaking skills. The rate included breakfast, which was simple but fulfilling. Our first morning we slept in quite late and we were awakened by the maid when she entered our room, but she immediately left when she realized we were still there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great for metro transit, and it is adequate for biking or walking around Paris, if your into that. There weren't many nightlife options near the hotel, but it was a safe area to walk at night.

The staff and location make up for the dim but comfortable tiny rooms. The included continental breakfast was excellent and served in a quirky adorable and spacious room on the ground floor. A sure bet for tourists like us who care more about sightseeing than staying at a pretentious and tres cher hotel.

Staff were excellent even though there was a mix up with breakfast booking. Breakfast is buffet style and good choice. Bed comfortable although rooms a little on the small side, particularly in the en suite. Great location walking distance to most attractions (within 15 - 35 minutes walk) and very close to Metro.

Good value for money. Our room however was at the back of the hotel and was a bit dark and dated. The other room at the front however was excellent with modern shower and comfortable facilities. Great value hotel with metro station very close. Line 12 gets you to most places.

The Brittany Hotel offers decent accessbility to the metro and some of Paris' best sights. Restaurants right around the hotel are plentiful and diverse. The hotel itself was a typical small Europen style hotel with the essentials (bed, cable tv, bathroom). The staff was not helpful on our first few days in town and the manager was incessentily rude. Breakfast was your basic continental.

Get what you pay for. The reception and dining area is currently being renovated and is looking good. Bedrooms have been painted but the carpet is VERY stained and needs replacing. Our biggest complaint is there is no fridge to keep a drink cool and no where to make a cup of tea. When arriving back after a busy day it would be so good to relax with a nice "cupp". Over all the hotel was reasonable and the linen was clean. Another thing the shower base is extremely slippery when wet so we needed to put the hand towel in the base. Breakfast good.

Great little hotel, we were on top floor (I think). Interesting little lift. Breakfast included was really good with fresh pastries, cereal, toast, yogurts, fresh fruit, and GREAT COFFEE - seriously what else do you need. Service was really good. You maybe are a little away from things but we had bought a hop on and off tour which wasnt far so we were quite happy with the location. Some nice little restraunts round about. Room really clean, however although they have sound proofed our neighbours did have an annoying squeeky door which was really loud - could have done without that - but overall good hotel.

We were initially unimpressed by the hotel - small foyer, smallest imaginable lift, and tiny room (even by Paris standards). But we soon came to see the good aspects of the hotel - excellent location, decent continental buffet breakfast, free wifi, and clean room. We would only recommend single/individual travellers for this hotel. Our room was so small that we had to climb over each other to get around (there is virtually no walking space in the room).

The staff were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning -- there's an array to choose from -- croissants, baguette, cheese, fruits and juices. Just an excellent way to start my day. I also love the huge cups from the breakfast lounge. The location is also ideally located near the Opera, Galleries Lafayette and 2 Metro Stations. I would definitely come back.

Great hotel. Very clean and friendly.

great and helpful staff, uneventful but quiet area, super-fast to montmarte, not much longer down to central areas either--metro stops just a stone's throw away. wallpaper in hall peeling a bit, but the room was in perfectly fine shape. good croissants at breakfast. bring your own washcloth.

We had a wonderful stay at Brittany Hotel. Very close to a metro station, clean rooms, helpful front desk, wonderful breakfast - simple but delicious! It was a good neighborhood. There is a small supermarket nearby which we visited almost every day to get water, fruits, etc. The only problem we had was that we were a family of 2 adults and 1 child and even though we booked the room for 3, they told us that we have to pay additional 2 euros per day for the child when we arrived. We took a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport (18 euro per person) and it was okay. We did not know which terminal we needed to be dropped off, so we told him we are flying Delta, and the driver dropped off at one terminal, but it was actually the wrong terminal. We had to walk (run) a long way to get to the right terminal. We had a pleasant stay at Brittany Hotel.

We had a 3 person room. It was comfortable, safe and very clean. The location was perfect. Easy access to the transportation, restaurants, variety of shops. Not noisy or overcrowded. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was FABULOUS! Good variety of foods and drinks and the breakfast lady working the dining room was so sweet and adorable. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Brittany Hotel for three nights. The overall experience was extremely positive and everything was smooth. We would stay there again for sure. The room was decent size and had a big window facing the street. Breakfast was typical French but it served our needs well.

We stayed 7 nights at the Brittany Hotel and ate breakfast there every morning, as we had paid for it to be included. We have nothing to complain about as the hotel was clean, modern, and very convenient (only 1 block from the Notre Dame de Lorette Metro stop). Breakfast consisted of breads, croissants, ham, 3 kinds of cheeses, fruits, yogurts, cereal, juices, and coffee/tea--filling enough that we skipped lunch most days. Free guest copies of Le Figaro and Le Monde are available. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Originally we were put in a larger room on the first floor that had a bigger bathroom with a large tub, however it did not have a shower or much of a view. We requested a change and were put in a smaller room, but one that did have a shower and also a nice street view. All in all, we would stay there again.

This place has been remodeling for a long time and it doesn't look like they will be done anytime soon. There are better places to stay.

People all nice and helpful at hotel but hotel was not acceptable! Room so small 2 people cannot even dress at the same time Shabby curtains and linens I paid for the upgraded room and cannot imagine what the regular one was! I travel alot and know what small I'd since I am in NYC slot! Small can still be clean This was not! They advertised air conditioned and this was not!!! I moved out after first night Look around don't book here

The hotel was fine. But, it is undergoing major renovation, which should have been revealed on Hotels.com Breakfast was not included, which we didn't realize from our booking and was way overpriced. any cafe in the neighborhood would be less expensive and less crowded. Our room was quiet and pleasant. The hotel is probably best for those who like a small hotel.

The hotel is under construction, A new sprinkler system is being installed amongst other works, affecting all aspects of the hotel; from pulled up carpets to holes in walls and ceilings of the lobby halls and rooms. If you are comfortable with being awaken at early hours by hamer-drilling and sheet rock dust this is an "ok" hotel. The staff are friendly, but are resigned to the construction. They can only acknowledge the issues with no renumeration or possible remedy; "hey the work must go on". Speaking from a construction background, I would estimate a works completion date to be ~ 12 months (May 2012) at the current production rate providing the hotel has capital for material purchases. Really great location in Mont Matre - no question! Also the personnel was very friendly and helpful in any matter. Highly recommendable!

This is a small hotel with a "cute" elevator (one person and some luggage) While the lobby has old time charm, the rooms were recently renovated and the bathroom was new. Typical sized room for Paris (tiny by American standards) in walking distance to Molin Rouge and other attractions. Close to Sacre Cour. Nice residential neighborhood with coffee shops, some even with free WiFi.

Although small by American standards, it was a decent size for a Euro hotel. French Tourism Ministry rated as 3/3 (max) for 2009, no 2010 sticker yet. 1 block from #12 Metro line (Notre Dame de Lorette), 1/4mi from another (#7 - Le Peletier), and 1/2mi from 2 others (#8 & #9 - Richelieu-Drouot), making it very convenient. Even on the (Euro-numbered) 1st Floor (US 2nd Floor), the street traffic was light during sleeping time, and the church bells next door did not ring at night (Notre Dame de Lorette). Room did not have a clock, didnt ask for one either. Room could have used extra outlets, with 2 laptops and 2 cell phones, waiting for an outlet became a common occurrence. Very friendly reception staff at all hours that spoke English very well. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood between Montmatre and the Opera, a 5-minute walk from Gare St Lazare. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was typical of a small European hotel: small yet comfortable. There were many great restaurants and cafes nearby, and the streets were pleasantly quiet at night. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay on the north/northwest side of Paris.

Excellent hotel! Updated bathroom shower! Great breakfast!

Very convenient for Metro station,which made it possible to see much of Paris in our short stay.Close to a good variety of bars. Hotel was quiet and comfortable with excellent bathroom.Helpful staff,and use of storage for baggage on day of departure. Would recomend to friends.

It was a very hot day when we checked in on July 7 and we were told that the air conditioning was being fixed. It never got fixed and we reosrted to looking for another hotel---not an easy feat in Paris! The hotel manager then offered us rooms in a "sister" hotel---the Hotel Tourine on Madeline st. This hotel was quiet, cool, clean and meet our needs. The Brittany was also on a busy noisy street. Due to faulty/no airconditioning, we had to open the windows and heard all the noise. Once we transferred to the Tourine, our stay was very pleasant. However, to be truthful the staff at both hotels were accomodating and helpful.

Brittany Hotel is a good hotel for the price and location. If you are looking for a decently priced mid-range hotel I would recommend the Brittany. It is right near the metro line providing you easy access to anywhere in the city. The rooms are small but as this is Paris that's normal. The staff was all friendly and helpful and the breakfast included in the hotel was also nice.

Hotel was in a good area right on the green metro line, but also a nice walk (30 minutes) to most touristy things. Plenty of places to eat at and a great pastry place right around the corner. No views from the hotel and rather dark inside. When we checked in they said breakfast is served for the guest, what the left out was that it was expensive per person for really really bad food (spoiled fruit and cold coffee). (cheaper to go to a pastry shop or a cafe) The room was a good size and seemed somewhat clean. The bathroom smelled funny, (possibly the cleaner they use?) And the shower left a lot to be desired....not the cleanest shower-head, water in and out, hot water also in and out. Overall, did not mind the hotel, but would pick a different one next time. The staff was very pleasant.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, I stayed in Paris before at a different hotel and the hotel and service was shocking, what a difference this time! Yes the rooms are small, however ALL Paris hotel rooms are small, but it was immaculate and the bathroom had clearly just been completely refurbished to a very high standard and there was a flat screen TV and safe in the room for our valuables. Reception was what made the stay, incredibly friendly on arrival, perfect English, when went out to go sightseeing we were given a map and Paris guide and were even offered a complimentary umbrella as it was starting to rain! Breakfast was included and was buffet style, but had a big selection available. The Hotel is 50m from a Metro station as well so I will definitely be going back here on my next trip.
