If you are on a budget than this hotel is for you. Easy access to highway. Neighborhood wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Updated rooms but could use a little work. Decent Continental breakfast. Desk worker was very nice and courteous. For $50 it is definitely worth the money but if you are looking for luxury and lots of amenities, you will have to pay a little more.

I needed a place near the trolley line and this was much cheaper than the downtown hotels. My room was clean and comfortable and -- a biggie -- quiet. I had a great night's sleep.

Nice place to stay with a good location near everything. Thought it was a little odd having to clean the pool and spa myself though. Was a little hard to get towels other than that I recomend this hotel. I would definately stay again. 4 Nights, 5 Days. Worth it!

Nice room. Comfy bed. Hotel staff were nice and polite. The neighborhood was not that great, but the hotel was walking distance to a taco bell, mcdonalds, gas station, black angus an the train station.

Was in a great location if you are trying to see a lot. Near the naval base where my family is stationed so it was perfect. Lots of great food. Must eat at C Level on the ocean!

Room needs maintenance

It was a decent room. Their was a weird noise coming from the door like a clicking noise. And the ice machine was broken.bed was a little hard to but other then that we just were there to sleep so for the price it wasnt to bad.they also had a basic breakfast. I would stay again because it would be just to sleep not to stay in the room all day.

Wow for what we paid for the room it was well worth it besides the broken ice machine my family and I enjoyed our stay the staff was GREAT :) we would without a doubt stay here again as long as they keep up the good work Thanks for making our stay comfortable

EVERYTHING WAS ACCEPTABLE. STAFF AND MANAGEMENT WERE VERY NICE. HOWEVER, I DID NOTICE THAT YOU HAVE A SIGNIFICIENT CALCIUM SCALE PROBLEM ON YOUR FIXTURES AND THE EXTEROR OF YOUR ICE MACHINES, AS IS COMMON IN MOST OF CALIFORNIA. i NOTICED THIS BECAUSE ONE OF THE REASONS FOR MY VISIT WAS TO RESOLVE THIS SAME ISSUE FOR THE CALVET HOME. lots of food places around - walkable. good price for what we got

Days Inn Chula Vista is a nice motel very close to the E St trolley stop. It provided very good value for the price I paid. My room was clean and comfortable, and came with free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast. There are several family-style resturants within walking distance, including a small pho noodle soup place, yummy. The neighborhood is commercial and well lit at night. This is a good place for basic comfort at an excellent price.

You get wat u pay then some more. Me and my fiancé found a sanitary pad under the bed; makes you question the cleaning, also had meth dealers a couple rooms down from us. It was over all o.k.

I was surprised that the hotel met all my needs. I felt safe,comfortable and would defiantly return again. The staff was very nice and meet all my needs. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe in the area.

I was very impressed with the Days Inn Chula Vista! The room was really spacious and clean. The bed was so incredibly comfortable I knocked out the minute I laid down! There was always plenty of parking available so I never had an issue finding a spot late at night. I will definitely return and recommend this one!

STAYED FOR MY WEDDING NIGHT AND WAS WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE VERY CLEAN AND HELPFUL STAFF THE ROOMS LOOKED LIKE THE PICTURES HAD A GREAT STAY WOULD BOOK AGAIN

it was OK. Loved that it had a decent size fridge and microwave even though the first one was not working and it took several calls to replace it ( microwave) with a working one.

no wifi and no one seems to care. If you need wifi, book somewhere else. Poor breakfast choice, a sand in the pastry almost knocked my tooth off, I will never come back.

The hotel was nice as was the staff, it has wifi access to the internet which was a plus for me, the bathtub didn't have a stopper so we couldn't use it but the shower worked well, there was a faint humid smell on the day we arrived but it vanished by the second night, overall I would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.

there could have been more of a breakfast

I had read the reviews before booking this hotel The school next door was not an issue The staff was very nice the room was clean The Continental breakfast was what was expected @ this price point The hotel was in the perfect location for our vacation minutes to all the attractions

I felt so comfortable and welcome here. There was just 'something' about the attitude of the staff that let me know that they were there to make sure my needs were met. The front desk even used my flash drive to print something I needed for my day on their computer. It's not the newest or fanciest hotel around, but it was perfect for me.

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable, and also quiet. Will definitely stay there again, as we make frequent trips to San Diego for business.

When I visit home (San Diego) I always stay here its close to everything I need. The rooms and staff has upgraded. So yes I would stay here again.

Location was convenient for this trip.........room was kept clean and made up every day. Staff were friendly.

Overall very pleased - microwave and fridge worked, staff listened to needs, close to Trolley station to ride around county on 3 different lines. Easy access to freeway so was able to go anywhere without problems. The only downside was the skinny parking spaces.

The place was good and clean. breakfest was okay. Disappoint with the pillows, they are really flat and need new ones to get a good night sleep.Told the front desk person about the pillows. I would stay thier again.

wats up with the no moppin or sweeping the bathroom? say there was xercise rm was n one

The room was clean, and modern looking.

Was unable to ever get into the excerise room even after getting 23 different keys. Did not matter though was told niether piece of equipment worked.

The hotel staff were efficient and hospitable but the facility is old. In spite of a recent make-over, the room air conditioner ran hot or cold, as well as the shower.

Our stay at the Days Inn was everything I expect from a quaity establishment. The staff was excellent. I would stay at this Days Inn anytime.

So durty.I orderd to the nonsmoking room.But the room was smoking room.So stinky.It was the worst hotel in my life.

I was a little worried about staying here, but figured since we would only be in the room to sleep, that I would take the chance. Come to find out it is actually a very descent place to stay and is not very far from a lot of stuff. California is huge, and no matter where you stay, you are probably going to have to drive to certain destinations. I know this, and I am use to this. The room was clean, had everything we needed as a family. The front desk people were pretty nice and helpful. Overall, for a place to just crash a few nights, I would for sure use it again. Its much nicer than most of the places in that area. Only downside is that there was not enough parking, but again we only came later in the night when most people were already in there rooms.

ALL WAS GOOD ONLY THING IS THE ROOM HAD A WEIRD SMELL AND WAS KIND OF SMALL OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GOOD, IT WAS A GOOD PRICE SO I COULDNT ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN A CLEAN ROOM TO SLEEP IN. IT HAD NEW SHOWERS TOILETS TILE ALL THAT SO IT WAS NICE. BED NOT SO COMFY BUT I WAS ON VACA FOR A FEW DAYS ALL WE DID WAS SLEEP THERE AND WENT OUT ALL DAY.
