Days Inn Benson Az - بينسون

For a motel that is part of a national chain, it was not up to standard. The rooms were not particularly clean-looking. The attitude of the managerial staff was not welcoming as evidenced by the sign on the vending machines saying no refunds would be given for lost change - buy at your own risk, and also the sign in the breakfast nook saying no food could be removed from the lobby.

1. blanket was torn by some previous occupant 2. continental breakfast was too cheap; I've been in several motels of comparable price which offered a decent breakfast 3. controls on heat unit didn't work properly 4. when I mentioned problems with the room to the young man on duty, he seemed indifferent

We were almost at the end of the breakfast time 8.45 am. and they had not filled up any of the food trays, like bread, muffins, even coffee etc. There were still people coming in at 5 minutes till 9am. The advertising is incl. breakfast. The rest was great. We were there only for one night.

This hotel had the worst toilet bowl in the history of toilets. It was SO LOW to the ground that it puts adults in an unnatural position. In addition, the strange child size toilet has the water so close that your hand dips in there while wiping. DISGUSTING. The breakfast also left much to be desired. Some protein would be nice. Also something other than white bread. The rest of the hotel was ok, but that toilet made the stay almost unbearable.

sightseeing in Tucson & Tombstone & Karchner Caverns & Gammons Gulch -- this hotel was prefectly located; only used for sleeping & showering; not hard to find and room was clean and comfortable

This Motel was very clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. The room size was nice and the bathroom looked like it was recently remodeled and the room recently painted. We were on the 2nd floor but there was no elevator which may be a problem for some. The only problem was the sheets and towels were very worn and threadbare, and were not "white" anymore, They really need to bereplaced.

Although everything is pretty basic- it is clean & comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. Would create a better first impression if the main entrance stairway was better maintained & clean. Don't judge this book by its cover- the rooms and everything else is O.K.

We used this hotel as a one over night stay on our way to Texas. The rooms are clean and spacious. The continental breakfast is basic but satisfactory. Overall, it is excellent value!

The room was much better than expected with the hotel being a very nice facility. Definitely a well worth the cost.

This is definitely top-notch as far as Day's Inns. I've stayed at many over the years, and this ranks in the top few. And when you're treking across the country, this is a beautiful area to stop in as well. Highlight of my trip so far.

The room was not very clean. In the bathroom one of the lights had been replaced with a bulb which did not at all fit the ceiling receptacle. A toilet plunger was sitting in a plastic bag by the commode (just in case?)! Since the commode did not flush very well I guess, in case of blockage, the guest is expected to plunge!! The toilet paper was the worst I have every experienced.

I was hesitant to stay here because of some other reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Although the hotel itself it older and could use some updating, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. It was a great deal, especially considering the cost.

I booked Days Inn via the telephone, not knowing where or the condition of this hotel. It was extremely dirty/dusty.....uncomfortable beds, terrible towels (felt like sandpaper) and small.......surrounding area was not good.......will think twice about booking with Days Inn again.

Booked here as I had stayed there about 8 years ago and was very satisfied. Also, Days Inn is a national chain and with that you expect a certain level of excellence. This place now seems to be on its last legs. Pool was full of bugs and unusable, which was not mentioned upon check in. Maintenance was non existent. Many amenities from doors to ac were broken and in disrepair. Stayed there on a Friday night and we were one of four cars in the lot. There's at least two other options in the area that would have been much better choices.

The 1st night we got there about 8 pm and we were tired. The room, bedding, and towels were very dirty. The next am we asked them to change the bed, clean the room and leave clean towels which they did. The 2nd night was much better and we slept well.

this hotel was the dirtiest we have ever stayed in!!! i could go on for days about it but already wasted enough time by simply keeping the reservation after seeing the accomodations. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! i'm not one to write reviews so it had to be bad for me to do this.

Very nice and spacy units. Good hotel to rest during a long day drive.

Checked in the hotel and within an hour, while watching the Weather Channel, someone inserted their key in the lock and opened the door. I immediately stood up and responded "Who are you!" and they closed the door. I never saw them. Later I called down to the front desk for some wash cloths and towels because there weren't any in the bathroom. The cleaning crew came up and provided me with new ones and the one women said she was sorry about coming in earlier. (oh, so you are the one that came in without knocking!) They both started to say that they were so busy that day and they could get to all the rooms as quickly as they wanted. (Hmmmm. . .I wonder if they cleaned the room I happened to be in). She then noticed that two of the pillows needed to be stripped and new pillow cases put on them. So I finally decided I need to do some of my own investigating. Let's see. The sheets were horribly wrinkled, the bath/shower area was dirty and the shower curtain was horribly stained as if it hasn't seen the likes of a washer for months. The mirror in the bathroom was filthy. It looked like it was only cleaned in the center and nowhere else. So needless to say, my experience was very unpleasant and I will have to add this Days Inn in Benson, AZ to my "Do not disturb or even visit again" list.

The bath tub was extremely dirty. The hotel needs a carpet make-over. Bathtubs should be scrubbed as they are filthy.

The hotel was your typical 2 star hotel - room was clean, bathroom was descent. But the entire second floor of the hotel reeked of smoke. We mentioned it to the guy at the front desk and he told us there were some smoking rooms. Ours wasn't, but the smoke was incredibly strong!

We were passing through on our way to Texas and found this hotel....it was pretty good. No AC in the hallways though in June makes it hot.

This motel was very nice, clean, and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. The surrouding area was nice and quiet.

I recently stayed at the Days Inn Benson with my family to visit the surrounding area, and specifically Tombstone, AZ. We had a great stay with them the service was good. We had some problems with our door keys but they fixed it immediately. They have a basic continental breakfast bar that was clean and well stocked. Greay way to feed the kids in the morning. The hotel was convenient to the freeways and all the area attractions. We stayed two nights and drove to Tombstone it was nice to have a hotel close by after spending all day there. There are convenient restraunts close by fast food and Denny's. Even a WalMart if you need any items you forgot for your stay. The hotel is not "high end" but it's great for a family traveling on a budget, and needs convenience. I have been a travel agent for 20 years and would recommend this hotel to travelers needing a good place to "rest there head" for visiting the area and attracttion. Worth the price paid.

Hotel was very good, the staff was excellent, and the room was clean and neat, only one problem, the air conditioner was very noisy, I had to turn it off in order to sleep, so my room was stuffy, if they could fix that problem it would be 100%

This hotel is need of attention. The sheets and towels are well past their expiration date. The toilet leaked, internally and externally.The room had a musty odor and was offensive. The breakfast bar was not available. This place needs help!

The carpet was nasty! The bathtub was just plan nasty! Inside the tub, and around the outside you could tell it had not been cleaned in a very long time! The chairs that went to the litle table in the room was so gross I had to put a towel on it so we could sit down. And the room had spider webs everywhere! Staff at the desk was not very friendly!

Good value for reasonable tariff. Two minor problems with room corrected immediately on check-in. Mattress getting a bit "tired" and saggy but tolerable. Room spacious, clean, utilitarian.

One of the best hotels in a long time, simple, comfortable, close to eating establishments, great TV, but no internet in the rooms... Friendly staff, breakfast, could of had a bigger selection of fruits, but again for the price, it was all good.

Great place! Easy location right off the freeway; the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was very simple yet sufficient, and the surrounding area very quiet. Made for the perfect place to stay on the way to Fort Huachuca!

My room smelled horribly. It was dirty with trash found on the floor. The room was pieced together with parts from another hotel or room. The TV was so old I am surprised it still worked. The toliet was falling apart. The pool and hot tub were filthy.

Room was clean and spacious and bed comfortable. Looked as if it may have recently been renovated. Will stay here again on our frequent trips to Texas. Only downside was the ubiquitous motel breakfast.

The full motel smelt like smoke.. We rented a total of three rooms and one of them was such an odor of urine we had to change that room. The pool wasn't clean and the spa didn't work!! Disappointed with the breakfast buffet..... Over all I would not stay there again and not recommend it to anyone else!!

Clean, comfortable, with a friendly staff. Located right at the beginning to the road to Tombstone and Bisbee, near shops and dining. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, but cold continental breakfast only.

This hotel was very cheap in price and now I why. The beds were horrible, they where a light weight foam mattress, very uncomfortable and the sheets had hair in them. The rooms seemed dingee and unclean and the bathroom had pubic hair on the floor. The breakfast was very cheap as well. The bagels were tiny and stale, the muffins tasted freezer burned and they had no hot water for the tea. They had no liners for the ice buckets and if you wanted shampoo or coffee, you had to go ask for it at the front desk. I think the people who ran it was a family ( middle eastern ) and an older woman came in and out of the "office" which obviously had bunch of birds you could hear while walking by the office door. It almost seemed like they lived there. It was just weird and Ill never go back there again. The people who ran it just didn't seem to care at all. I had to move to a better hotel down the street which was excellent.

Great Hotel at a reasonable rate. Very Clean and quiet. Everything was in good working order and looked brand new. The washer and dryers could stand to be replaced but not a big deal, we still got some laundry done. Would recomend this hotel to everyone.
