The hotel was brilliant and so were the staff, the pool is small but was never busy and we were always able to get a sun bed. The location is one street away from South Beach and was not noisy when we stayed,

Rooms were clean. Service was excellent. Each member of the staff was their for anything you needed. Short walk to beach, restaurants, and clubs

Perfect for a beach getaway, you are in walking distance to the beach, the local bars & beach hangout spots. The food at the hotel is ok, but Ocean Dr. has plenty of options that are all in walking distance. The rooms were small but it is a boutique hotel. The service was nothing less than top notch. Staff is friendly and helpful! Would stay there again!

I always stay at the bigger ocean-side hotels in SoBe but this time I wanted to stay somewhere smaller, more affordable. The Blue Moon was perfect. Great location - one block from Ocean Blvd, very cool, great bar, modern, clean hotel with great sounds and very pleasant staff (Alexis is a great guy). For a party or shopping weekend this is a perfect place to stay.

the staff were very friendly and professional. clean and beautiful hotel. the room was very clean but very small! i guess we were paying for the location and not the quality of the room. the hotel's located right in the middle of the action. 2 blocks away from the beach. oh yeah, and at 9 am, while we were sleeping, the hotel's fire alarm came on and everyone had to evacuate. that sucked but i needed the wake up call anyway! lol

Threw a friend's bachelorette at this hotel and they were fantastic! Sent up free champagne, set up a private dinner outside the pool for us, upgraded one of our rooms to a suite for no extra charge! It was fantastic experience. They were so willing to help with everything and really just did their best to make our life easier and the party more fun! Definitely recommend it to anyone planning a trip for friends! Also the location is great- by the beach but also near all the great clubs. The rooms are a little on the small size but the service is perfect!

The service was wonderful! It is an older hotel (like most in the Art Deco area) but it was very well maintained and very clean! The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating, and very cheerful as well. The hotel itself was in an excellent location - 1.5 blocks from South Beach, and very close to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Avenue. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very reasonably priced for the area and very well maintained. Very close to everything. The hotel needs a proper Concierge, the front desk staff is too busy to really assist. The mattress was a little hard, but comfortable. Amenities are great and the pool area is wonderful. I would stay here every trip to Miami.

The Blue Moon was a great place- small enough to be personal ,art deco but well designed/ decorated and trendy.Close to South Beach ,shopping and restaurants.Blue Moon has a good bar,arty lobby and smart patio seating area at the front of the hotel.We enjoyed breakfast- good food,imaginative menu,modern dining room ,good service.Small pool with outside terrace and canopy.Rooms well designed and spacious with good bathrooms- all well decorated and presented.Free wi-fi.We stayed for 2 days with 2 children (14 & 11)- would also be a great place for a romantic getaway.Staff very professional and helpful.Would love to go back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, just blocks from the beach. Walking distance to most clubs. Pretty building and room. I suppose the room was a bit on the smaller side (I would say normal size for most European rooms, smaller compared to American standards) but that was not a problem for me as everything was clean and nice. There is a bar and restaurant which is convenient. There is a tiny pool for lounging but the beach is so close and so perfect you will probably not even need that. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

It should be disclosed that they are going to REQUIRE you to park your car in an offsite lot for $27! Would never go back!

Perfect location for convenience comfort shopping and easy at excess to the beach

The over all stay of Blue Moon Hotel was ok. The service for breakfast was horrible. Paid mandatory breakfast was consistence of muffins. There was no cream or milk for coffee and if you ask for just a regular glass of milk they will charge you.

Friendly staff. Clean. Great location near the action. Comfortable trendy room. Nice bathroom. Negatives- they listed a pool but their pool was not functioning during our stay. Front deal told us we received a free breakfast, then said they needed to charge for it, we passed on the breakfast. Plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Great location. Would stay there again.

Great location for the price. Only complain is that they are charging 10.00 fee a day even while hotel is under construction.

Great location and nicely fitted room. Front room gets all the street noise though. Don't expect to sleep on the weekends.

Everything was amazing although there was sugar ants. I would still go back the rooms were very clean still

Hotel was very nice and clean. Their continental breakfast was actually ok, unlike at most similar hotels i have visited in America. The only downside was a VERY noisy AC in our room.

The customer service of the hotel staff was amazing! They were very helpful and knowledgable of the area and even other areas in Miami,, I loved that! The only issue I had was that the hotel was being upgraded and there was construction going on that was very inconvenient,, I would have appreciated if they had made me aware when I had called. That's all,,,

The only negative was a guy installing an awning outside the window at 10 AM. A little weird. But it had to get done I guess. Undergoing renovations but our king suite (rm 202) was immaculate and comfortable. Great staff and perfect south beach location. This is my place when travelling to Miami beach.

I left my laptop in the room before checking out and realized that I left it a few hours after. It was 100% sure that I left it there, but although I called 100 times and went back to the hotel to try to find it, apparently nobody knew about it. I cannot believe the maid who cleaned the room didn't find it. It is impossible. I filed a report with the policemen, and hope that they can find it. If you go, take care, because they may steal your passport, iPhone or whichever other valuable item that you have!

Everything was more than I expected. The only thing is that amenities fees were charged in addition to the room cost, and not disclosed before I booked the room.

The staff was very nice and attentive. The room was VERY, VERY, small and decorated like a 70's "B" movie set. A little tacky! The breakfast is self service, with plastic utensils and styrofoam plates. If you looking for a very small room close to every thing this is your hotel.

Staff is personable and curtious!

the room was great and clean though i was dissapointed in not having the pool as it was under construction.

Employees at the blue moon were very nice and made our short stay at the hotel pleasant. Cant wait to go back for a longer stay

Friendly staff. Prompt service. What's advertised is reliably delivered. 3 story hotel. Clean, modern-looking room furnishings. Quiet in room yet centrally located and close to many popular night clubs (Mango's, Fat Tuesdays, Mansion). Very close to the beach. Old-fashioned elevator, which takes a very long time, so not good for those not wishing/able to take stairs. Overall very good SOBE option.

The hotel was just what we wanted! Comfortable, upscale, great location, contemporary, great breakfast, gracious, friendly staff - what more can one want on vacation!!

Check in service was slow as the front desk was understaffed. The charge for parking is $26/day if you choose valet and $20/day if you want to find a lot on your own. Valet allows as many out and back times as you wish, so that was nice. But this is an additional charge I did not expect. Hotel staff was great. Very nice and willing to help out. They got to know our needs very quickly so that was great for our customer service experience. Additional $10/day facility fee is automatically charged and I don't recall reading about this on hotels.com
