Ok i rarely if ever review places i stay but this place blew me away. This was hands down the nicest hotel room i have ever had.The room was clean, then bed was extremely decadent, the decorating was top notch. the morning breakfast was a complimentary hot one, like you'd get at a bistro. I will look in the future for hyatt place hotels again. lots of room for 1 could have had a family of 4 stay comfortably.

Amy, at the front desk, was awesome! Took great care of us - from providing a map and detailing the places we needed to see - to recommending a fantastic place to eat. Our room was huge - although the bathroom was kinda small. Loved that we had access to food all day. Great breakfast provided by hotel! Easy access to everything we wanted to see and do - including visiting a casino.

Everything was great. Staff is nice. Outdoor pool was warm even though weather was chilly. Free breakfast had lots of tasty choices. The Aquarium, Seaport and Shoppes are all within walking distance. If I had to come up with something negative, it would be that a huge TV is located between the sleeping area and the living area, so it's difficult for one person to go to bed while the other stays up watching TV. It would almost be better to have a smaller TV in each area.

Easter weekend our family visited relatives in the Mystic, CT area. Our stay at the Hyatt Place was outstanding. We had stayed at other area hotels throughout the year when we visited with relatives, but this was the first time we booked the Hyatt Place. We were all very pleased with the accommodations--high praise indeed from four people which included two teenagers! The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was large and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had many choices for us to select from. We will definitely stay at the Hyatt Place again! It turned out to be the "perfect New England weekend"--weather included...

The hotel didn't provide either hand lotion or a shower cap. Otherwise I'd recommend this hotel.

Mystic is a very small but fun town on the coast in Connecticut. There aren't that many hotel choices but the Hyatt fits the bill as far as having a quick clean place to stay if you are doing an overnight trip to visit the area. No fancy bells or whistles, but the place is clean and up kept nicely. Also the breakfast there is great!

Perfect hotel. very clean and newly decorated. Great value

It was a nice place to stay the bed was so comfortable nice room tv everything... I will be back there again

This hotel is amazing. The staff are excellent, love their jobs and have great recommendations for the surrounding areas. The rooms are large with separate sleeping/living spaces and plenty of space. The location is perfect, just outside of downtown mystic (although you will have to drive there) and conveniently located just off 95. We had a great experience here and would recommend it to anyone who needs a hotel in the area.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Mystic. You do not need your car to go to any of the attactions or restaurants. We loved it and would go back in a heart beat. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing.

We loved staying at this hotel.It was very clean,the staff was friendly and informative.The morning breakfast was good.We also liked how convinient it was.It was close to to the attractions in Mystic and if you want to visit the casinos they offer a shuttle.Its very easy to drive yourself to the casinos as well.I would really recommend this hotel.

Staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. Room was clean and very modern. Picture depict exactly how the hotel and room looks. Hotel had shuttle to Mohegan Sun for concert-very convenient. Complimentary breakfast was awesome!!! We will absolutely stay at this hotel again. Great experience.

As soon as you walk in someone is there to greet you check you in and give you a tour of the hotel. Rooms were clean excpet for a used glass on the floor with water in it next to the bed. Room was up to date in style with a very nice 47" HD television. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is the second time I've stayed here and I have never had a problem. Staff is polite and helpful, free shuttle to casino, clean rooms and common areas. Only complaint would be signage in parking area and hotel lobby.

Great hotel that is near everything. Rooms are like suites with the seperate living areas and work station w/ wet bar. People who work in the hotel are very nice and helpful. Cafe area was very nice w/ wines and spirits and baked goods. Definitely will return next time we are in Mystic.

We really enjoyed are stay, the staff was cheerful and very helpful. When we arrived home my wife realized she'd left her favorite shoes there. When called the staff had recovered the shoes and is mailing them to her. The room is nicely layed out and very comfortable.

Checked in late at night and hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Refrigerator didn't work but the man working the front desk replaced it right away and didn't want a tip. Breakfast was pretty limited and quanitities were small given the crowd. Rooms were really big and beds were extremely comfortable. The area around the bathroom smelled a little funky but we didn't complain about it so it wasn't too bad. Location is very convenient to Mystic Seaport and Old Mystic Village but it's on a relatively busy road so walking with kids wasn't a real option.

We arrived around 10 pm and used the check-in kiosk because there was a line at the front desk. Our keys were issued and we went up to our room. The door was slightly ajar and as we went to open it we noticed a middle-aged man changing in the corner. Turns out our room was reassigned but for some reason this was not altered in their system. A bit disturbing, particularly as if the guest was out we would have had keys to their room. They fixed the situation and gave us another room. Breakfast was fine - nothing spectacular. Location is pretty isolated, off a major road and a good distance from the center of Mystic.

Stayed only one night. So far a good hotel with an OK breakfast. I would stay there again.

I recently traveled to Mystic and Stonington for a 3 day trip and was really blown away by the modern, fresh, and clean qualities of the hotel. I have stayed at the Hilton near by and one of the small bed and breakfasts... Needless to say, I will be booking with the Hyatt for my next trip. My only regret is that I didn't get to spend more time in the hotel. The pool was also closed for the season, but that's understandable considering that it's located in a New England coastal town.

We spent a night at the Hyatt Place in Mystic, CT. Overall it is a great hotel. Everything seems new and there staff was awesome. The staff member who checked us in was amazing and gave us a choice of room location to best suit our needs. The downsides of the hotel were that the walls to the hallway are paper thin and you could hear everything in the hallway. Also, the continental breakfast was a bit lacking, but for a small price you can get a solid breakfast at the hotel.

Conviently located just off the highway. Easy to get to all the sights. Breakfast was great.

The hotel was very clean, quiet, good service and the pool was nice. We loved the Starbucks bar and the continental breakfast was just ok. Get there early for breakfast as it got busy and was crowded. The service was great as everyone was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Hyatt.

We stayed one night at an area hotel and checked out the next day. We relocated to the Hyatt.....excellent in every way! Our choice of hotels will be the Hyatt....as everyone we have stayed in...you see consistency in all areas!

Although the staff was very courteous and helpful and most areas of the property were very clean, our room smelled of tobacco smoke. On a hot and humid July day it was clear that this had been a smoking room in a previous life and because we were tired we accepted it. Otherwise and perhaps in other rooms, it was very convenient and pleasant. Lots of parking and a 24 hour fitness room.

Recently stayed at the Hyatt Place in Mystic, CT. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The room itself was very nice, although the bathroom was a bit too small. The hotel was 2 minutes from the Seaport and the Aquarium. Will probably go back again in the Fall or next Spring, and most certainly will stay at the Hyatt.

A friend and I wanted a hotel with a good location and this was it. We also rented bikes which were delivered right to the hotel, the staff was very accomodating. We walked to alot of places as well. Close to everything. The only problem we had was how long it took for them to make breakfast if you ordered a hot entree.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was great and were very accommodating. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the hyatt. The staff in lobby very friendly and helpful with information I requeste d about attractions in the area. Hotel room was neat,and clean. Continental breakfast,was ok, nothing,great but decent. The coffee at breakfast,was,actually good, much better than the coffee I purchased in lobby that was supposed to be starbucks. The outdoor swimming pool was nice for my kids, they loved it. There were plenty,of,towels and lounge,chairs. I would devinitely stay here again.

We arrived at the Hyatt Place in Mystic and our first imopression was a good one. After being issued a room on the 2nd floor, we went inside and my husband who is allergic to mildew immediately began to sneeze. There was a very strong musty odor to the room and a big black stain on the carpet in front of the small refrigerator where it had most likely leaked from being unplugged in-between guests. There was no way that we could stay in that room so I tried to call the front desk to let them know that we would need another room. The telephone did not work either! I went downstairs and spoke with the front desk staff. They were very apologetic and gave us a new room which was identical in looks but without the mildew smell. The room was fine but the TV only worked intermittently, despite the fact that it was a new flat screen Sony Plasma. One of the light fixtures was loose and the tub did not drain well causing us to stand in ankle deep water while showering. This is a lovely hotel but their poor maintenance will take it down if they do not step up their program. I would stay there again but only after inspecting things that are important to me to make sure they are operational.
