No complaints or negative issues during my 3 night stay. The surroundings were quiet, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. On-site restaurant service was good, plenty of ammenities were close-by. The pool and gym were plain and simple but kept neat and tidy.

It was a working stay for me and I really appreciated that the hotel staff observed the "do not disturb" sign on my door and didn't interrupt my work at any time. I appreciated the restaurant and lounge right in the hotel. Saturday night is "all you can eat crab" night and I took full advantage of excellent crab.The only critique I would have was that the top sheet on my bed had what appeared to be a cigarette burn in it and the fans and air conditioners just outside my window on the second floor were quite loud. I would definitely stay there again.

The smell of smoke was pretty strong in my room, even though I think it was a non-smoking room. Truthfully, I assumed that all rooms were now non-smoking rooms, unless one asked otherwise. I was pretty disappointed with that, and I could smell a lot of cigarette smoke in the hallways as well. I would have liked to have been on a non-smoking floor or at least warned that it was a smoking floor.

they took out the vending machines :( they closed the gift shop :( I was hungry and didn't want to go to the restaurant but there were no options! if you close the gift store, bring back the vending machine.

Very comfortable.

Hotel is old...decor, finishes, etc. Broken window allowed me to hear the howling wind all night. There are better places to stay for the money

Ive stayed here plenty in the past - This stay, I was unfortunate to be checked in onto a smoking floor. I woke up at 4:30am to the smell of cigarette smoke. When I enquired about it at checkout, they told me that hotels.com and expedia etc. will book these rooms - but not tell customers. I will always ask in future, but you are kinda hooped if the place is booked up.

We we're not happy in our overnight stay at Greenwood Inn. Room 312 smells and was not properly cleaned. We found an empty bottle of mouthwash at the side of the bed and cigarette ashes on the styro cup provided in that room. My daughter asked for some hot water and when we took the top styro cup, the second at the bottom has lots of cigarette ashes. We brought this matter to the front desk...she said she will inform the housekeeping supervisor and expect for a call but nobody did or maybe they just ignored us. She even said, I could have give you some discount for the inconvenience but you already paid in full, "sorry"... I deeply appreciate the kindness of the staff who sent the toothpaste in our room. We travelled far and chosen this hotel for our passport renewal convenience but it doesnt seem worth for refferal.

The hotel is clean. Service is good. I stay there often. You can walk to many restaurants.

Bed was rock hard, heating and A/C is old and noisy.

Very nice and relaxing stay.

we were very comfortable, front desk staff was excellent

Found the room to be average, the 2nd floor I was on smelled like a smoker's lounge, although I booked a non smoking room. Had a rash of cars broken into on the last night of my stay but I was told the theif was caught by the authorities. Over all the room was ok but I have stayed in much better for less money.

Hotel is older, but updated. Room was large, but only average in appearance and decor. It was a comfortable stay, but I was there because the city was full in the south.

It was decent. I was disappointed with the Coffee maker not working and alarm was broken. Besides those 2 things room was comfortable.

King Suite is actually a Suite. Very nice!

front desk staff were not very pleasant, and there should be a curfew for children in the pool, couldnt enjoy full potential of hotels ammenities.

Room was comfortable and clean. Bartender in lounge was surly - didn't want to honor VLT winning ticket! said he didn't have enough cash to pay it out!

The hotel was located quite a way out of Calgary but was close to the airport. The room we were originally allocated was close to the air conditioning and noisy but they moved us straight away. Staff were pleasant and quite helpful.

Probalbly will not stay again

Nice hotel, very clean. Kids liked pool and hottub was clean and well-maintained. Beds were quite hard in our opinion but overall nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Calgary.People were friendly and very helpful on the trains and buses.The fellow in the gift shop was very nice and the staff was friendly. we had a great time.

Calgary is a place you have to book hotels well ahead of time. We moved from a 2 star dive, and found this gem. Quality is comparable to just under Marriott / Sheraton. But beds are super comfortable, large rooms, nice lobby etc. The only difference than a 4 star is the quality of bathroom features and fixtures, and location is far out by the airport. But was so thankful to find it at the last minute through hotels.com.

Over all the hotel is not bad, but then many others in the area are just as good or better for similar prices. What burned my cookies is that they charged me a dollar for ever LOCAL phone call I made. So $5 her or $10 there won't break me, but it's the principal of it. Other hotels I have used in the area don't do this and furthermore local calls don't cost the hotel anything! It just amounts to a cash grab and an unwise business practice that left a bad taste in my mouth - there are other options Greenwood management.

This hotel is close to my office, and is within walking distance of a few restuarants. The area is industrial though. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, not in the hotel. I like it, and go to the Greenwood in Calgary often, good value for the money.

Very nice stay, close to Airport and very clean room.

Stayed for a work week after planning the trip late and having all of my usual haunts already filled. This was my first stay and was decent. Hotel was clean but getting tired, time for an update. People were nice and room was what I expected and ready to go on arrival. Restaurant needs some work. Slow service and subpar breakfast offerings but overall the hotel was decent.
