We met friends and family in Washington early June. Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Perfect! Our room was located on the 6th floor, quiet and convenient to all hotel facilities. I don't think I have ever been in a hotel bathroom that was as large as this one. Plenty of room. The hotel restaurant, while somewhat lacking in good service, provided us with a great breakfast every day. Dinner was tasty, as well. We were close to everything that is Washington. All in all, it was a wonderful long weekend...

Everything about the stay at this reasonably priced hotel was good. The pool & gym were very good.

The staff was very helpful with directions from Dulles airport to the hotel. I needed a crib and received one within minutes of checking in and was set up for me. When we needed a cab the staff was willing to stand outside and call one over for us. Overall I have no complaints. This hotel was perfect for the occassion and met all of our expectations.

I usually stay at the St. Gregory when I am in DC, but they were booked for a convention. Staying at Courtyard was not the same. The amenities that one finds at the St. Gregory -- kitchenette, mini-refirgerators, microwaves -- were not available at Courtyard. Our room was near the elevator and faced onto an alley. You could hear everything that went on in the hallway from inside the room. All in all, a clean and spacious room, but not worth what I paid. Will be back at the St. Gregory Hotel next time.

Nice, clean rooms. Not worth the cost. Restaurant offering was sub par

I was disappointed to find that we didn't get breakfast included with our rate. Also, the pool area was in the basement and kind of gross. Good location, though.

Lovely, clean hotel. Great location. Pleasant and helpful staff. Would stay again and again and again. A fridge in the room would have been helpful but since the ice machine was right out side our door that was very convenient.

My family and I liked the hotel very much. The only issues was the wifi in the room was a problem and a exhaust fan in the bathroom would be helpful.

Very comfortable. Very close to where our son lives. Loved walking down to the mall with his dog every morning.

Good stay all around. By far the best thing about this hotel is its location. You cannot do much better. Beautiful and safe neighborhood; in walking distance to all tourist attractions and Dupont Circle.

I enjoyed the room, the service and neighborhood! I wish I would have checked out all the different things the hotel offered but I will be returning!

you get what you expect at a Courtyard. Great location at Scott Circle. Close to everything but not in the middle of it. Quick car service to DCA a plus. But they need to put a muzzle on the ice machines

The hotel was very good. I am however disappointed with hotel.com due to the fact that breakfast for two was supposed to be included and I was charged for it.

Over the hotel was excellent, great location and very comfortable. I was surprised that our water glasses were never changed in the entire time we stayed there. 5 days..... not typical.

Very nice hotel - free wifi, plus multiple iMacs in lobby if you need to print boarding pass or catch up on work (we only travel with an iPad, so sometimes a real computer is helpful to have access to!) Easy to walk to all sorts of great places and get to all the monuments and museums. A little more of a hike than some places, but well worth it if you want to stay in a neighborhood feel type of place vs being surrounded by tourist trap stuff. Highly recommended.

Appreciated that they supplied a microwave and frig. Good elliptical machines in the gym.

The staff was delightfully cheerful and helpful. Add that to the convenience of the location and we have a winner. The cuisine at Nage is creative and delectible. Well done!

Ideally located just blocks from the White House, we found it so easy to get around the city staying here. The hotel is just a block from a bike share station. The rooms were spotlessly clean and large. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but it was a small price to pay for such a reasonably-priced hotel in a great location. Everybody who worked at the hotel was very friendly. The big complaint we had was the outrageously expensive parking fees.

The hotel is really clean and beautiful. Considering the high quality of the decor and furnishings this hotel is a great value. It is within reasonable walking distance of all the sights and the Metro and just a few blocks from Connecticut Ave where there are multiple restaurant choices in every cuisine imaginable. Overall, I would absolutely consider staying there again when I return to the DC area. One caution, however...parking is not cheap. However, it isn't cheap anywhere else in the city either.

It was O.K

Marriott remains Marriott, meaning the room, lobby, etc are luxurious and beautiful. This location is indeed perfect for a quick stop in Washington as one has the chance to see the best known attractions such as the White House, the Mall, Dupont Circle. Everything important seems to be within walking distance. On the down side, though, the hotel's restaurant was closed for renovation so we had to eat somewhere else... and the fact that parking is available ONLY by valet was not clearly explained in advance. Beware, that adds up to your daily bill plus the inconvenience of waiting about 15-20 minutes to have the car brought up... and tipping the guy for your wasted time!

I understand parking is few and far between in DC, but I don't know why I didn't realize parking was per day not per night...$70 for less then 24 hours is slightly ridiculous. So while the room was well priced, don't forget to add this on. The staff was the most friendly, though. They even let us check in early which was super convenient. The bed wasn't the most comfortable.

It was never inidiated that they charge $36.00 a nite for parking my car. Once I move it to a cheater location $5 for 12 hours and $16. for all day. They tired up my credit card with an additional charge of $2 plus the $40. they already put a hold on. Three days after leaving they still have the hold on this card. I believe the managers are mean spirit because of the move. NO ONE INFORM ME THAT THEY WERE ON MAJOR RE-CONSTRUCTION. BIG LET DOWN AFTER STAYING AT THESE HOTELS FAIRMONT (no charge for car) FOUR SEASONS (Philadephia) just to name a few.

Hotel is ok, close to tourist attraction, but the lobby of the hotel is in the process of remodeling, and you have to enter the side door and go through a little maze to get to the elevator. Probably because of the construction, the hotel personnel leave you the impression they don't care about the guests

Great deal. The room was clean, staff friendly and location ideal. The only down side was some renovation being done in the lobby area, but this did not really inconvenience us.

Loved it! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very nice. We forgot toothpaste and the front desk gave us some for free. This hotel is within walking distance of many great restaurants, a bunch of Metro stations, and is only 2 miles from the National Mall area. We would definitely come back!

The staff was very helpful. We were traveling with our 2 small kids and they helpfully located a nearby playground. There is a good playground 2 blocks away, on P between 16th and 17th. They also brought in a crib and a rollaway bed right away; the room was a little small, but it all managed to fit. The environs were a little chaotic because they are renovating their lobby, but it worked out OK. There was no breakfast included, but there are lots of restaurants nearby. Valet parking was $30 plus tax.

We had a wonderful stay. The people couldn't have been nicer to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Would definitely recommend friends and familly stay there.

Great Room, Staff Worked Hard, it will be great when the Lobby Renovation is finished . . .

clean, comfortable room. a healthy walk to the national mall, but only a few blocks from a metro stop. several good restaurants within walking distance. hotel restaurant is good, but spendy. our room had a terrible view, very close to the next building. no problem for us though - we weren't there to sit in the room anyway.

Was my first time here and I was scare. The Hotel is nice... great location(Embassy row area), good service, the room was confor, two blcoks fron the metro station.

parking was the only issue. needed to pay per day for valet parking. no choice other than trying to find parking on the street.

The hotel manager bent over backwards to make sure we could settle in comfortably. The hotel parking was full so he was helping get cars to the nearest available parking garage - he practically walked my husband to the garage entrance to make sure he navigated the one-way streets correctly. A quick request for a couple more towels was followed up within a couple of minutes with a stack and extra shampoo and soap, by the manager himself. The room was clean and the price was great, two blocks from National Geographic and four from the metro, many excellent restaurants nearby.

Everything about the hotel was great. Would book again anytime. One small complaint: room did not get enough t.v. channels.
