Wasnt the worse thing ever but could use some updating . Furniture could be updated and the beds could use new mattress. The bathroom could use a new shower curtain and shower could be a little cleaner. If you just need some where to stay for cheap this is the place.

I booked this hotel to have a microwave in my room and was told I could walk up to the front lobby and use the one there since my room didn't have one, they refused to put one in my room or move me to a room with one. I will never stay in this hotel again. I book room with certain features and pay more to have them. When you drive 12 hours who wants to walk back and forth to the front lobby and when they lock the doors ring the bell to come in to use the microwave.

Quiet. Convenient. Comfortable. Huge lobby and an Indoor pool.

If you need a place to rest, it's ok

The hotel seems dated in the room. Dirty grout and black stuff in the shower, the sink was chipped and cracked along the side, and the shower walls a little grungy. The wall was missing artwork that seemed to previously be there. It looked like what an apartment made in the 70s might look like after someone moved out after living there for 30 years. We had a non-smoking room, but it still smelled smoky and musty. The pool was also not working (start of summer?), but the hottub was working and the inner courtyard was indoors and covered. So that was interesting. That said, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast had a hot waffle maker. I spent most of my time in the room with my eyes closed, so in the end I didn't care what it looked like...5 hours of sleep, and then back on the road. If you just need a pitstop on your journey, it fits the bill. If you're going to spend time awake at the hotel, or in your room more than just using the hot tub, you probably could find a hotel for the same price that's more up to date. The wait staff were friendly though, and very helpful.

Very disappointed with the whole experience except for the customer service from the morning desk help, she was very cordial and professional.

It was awful, dirt all over the floor, the mattress was held up by a telephone book, curtains full of food, mirror, paintings all lamp fixtures all hung sideways

Very friendly staff, pool was closed, hot tub was closed too

The rooms are way over priced for what you get. It should be about 25-30 dollars a night. There are plenty of other options in the area. Don't pick this one.

Slapping a "non-smoking" placard on the door does NOT make it non-smoking! The room reaked!! Also, the door locks were mis-alligned and didn't lock correctly. Scary hotel!!!

Stay was ok, room was not in good shape. Carpets extremely worn, toliet was not even mounted to the floor and rocked when you sat on it. They also offered a free breakfast in their resteraunt. As it turned out they offered waffles in their lobby, looked they may have offered more, but it was all gone by the time we arrived.

We couldn't fault the hotel staff at front desk, very helpful. We mainly booked there so I could use the indoor pool but was told on arrival that they don't turn it on in winter, I was very disappointed.

The room was dirty, there was food on the and other trash on the floor. There were no towels or wash cloths in the room and it smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The staff seemed put out when we asked for towels and when I asked for the room to be vacuumed and cleaned(which never happened)

The place had animal droppings on the floor, sheets didnt look clean, no fridge and smelled like a smoking room when non smoking was requested.

We booked this room simply because it was the cheapest rate for the night and we just needed somewhere to sleep. When we pulled up at 11:00 pm there were 5 cops cars in front of the hotel. Upon checking in we were given no explanation of the events by manager, which would have been appreciated since we had our two children with us. The room was pretty dingy, especially the towels and bathroom. I would only recommend this motel to people with a concealed weapons license. It was scary :)

Room for good for overnight rest if traveling long distance. Hotel guest were loud, drinking outside room and left bottles and cans everywhere. In the middle of night we had knocking at our door which was disturbing. The hotel staff were very friendly.

My husband and I chose this hotel, it was convenient and when we needed a room late at night (11pm) it was an easy choice. We weren't expecting much, the air con worked and the bed was ok, shower could have had better water pressure but we figured for an 8 hour stop before continuing driving it was fine... That was until 5 hours in to our stay when the television turned itself on (very loudly) and woke us up... Given we hadn't used the tv when we came in it certainly wasn't set to be turned on by us. So, to save someone else enduring the same pain the next night, I mentioned it to the receptionist upon check out. Instead of a "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience" I was met with laughter. What a disgusting and disappointing reaction to give a customer who is registering a complaint. Your night shift receptionist should be put onto the check out time slot as she understood customer service and was absolutely fabulous when we checked in. I wouldn't stay here again because while I wasn't expecting the Hilton, after an awful night in a hotel it would be nice if a little respect could be shown.

they over booked me, the room was horrible looking and they didnt seem to care about customer service.

This was by far the most disgusting place we have ever stayed.... NEVER NEVER AGAIN! It was filthy dirty and I would never have expected Hotels.com to have this as an offering. Most people there appeared to be permanent residents of the complex and there trash piles outside of there doors were good indicators.

Was terrified to sleep broken doors dirty bathroomabout .... Loud noise woke me up at two in the morning from a party that the front desk didn't do nothing

The room had an oder that was very unpleasant. There was a lot of people traffic in and out of the rooms on either side of me. I wondered if theyrented the rooms by the hour, I do not recomend this hotel for any family

Double glazing would be an improvement.

the hotel need remodel even their price low.

Could tell right away the lack of quality. Slept in clothes. Didnt appreciate waking up with bites all over face and neck. I don't recommend staying here at all.

It really wasn't a bargain considering the age of the motel, the cleanliness of the room, no alarm clock, no bedside lights.

I think there should be a limit on how long a mattress should be used. Nothing bothers me more than a mattress that sags. After 8 years or so, it should behoove the owners to toss the old one and get something more firm...or at least ask the renter, do you want a firm or sagging mattress. I also understand the issue of not taking food from the breakfast bar to your room, but come on, a bowl of ceral???? Now if the breakfast at this hotel was much more than bread products that would be different. I am not sure who has written the guidebook on what constitutes "breakfast," however as a health educator I have a very different opinion than most hotels.

the hotel was so bad i would not stay there and made ya'll fix the problem. i wouldnt even let my daughter in the room. what you see on the site is not what you get!!!!!!!!

Hotel was adequate. Bathroom didn't have a door. Didn't use pool but looked average. Sufficient if passing through. Wouldn't want to stay longer than a couple of nights. Amarillo has very little to offer.

Mold on walls, no towels- had to go get some, bed leaning down on pieces of wood, no smoke detector, phone in room did not work, pillows absolutely flat, way over priced for the condition and no amnemities Hallway very dirty - afraid to touch any thing

Strategic pictures, taken from angles to fully enhance. Photographer really earned their pay. A full, clothes iron burn in the carpet greeted me when I opened the door. The top rail of the desk chair came off in my hand. In the middle of a heat wave, the coldest thing in the room was the refrigerator. It froze my water bottles. The pool was out of order and...and...and...The front desk's first question when I asked for a new room was "Did you use anything?" The next morning, I grabbed a cup of coffee from the "continental breakfast", headed back toward my room and was told by the front desk that I couldn't take it to my room! "Hotel policy". Run, don't walk to the nearest hotel. Splurge. Treat yourself to a night free of regret.

This is the worst stay in the United States in my life. The room door was covered in grease and grime (mechanics?), the floor reeked of carpet fresh and last but not least there was no door to the bathrom/toilet. That's right folks, after a long trip with your wife across Texas, you have to leave the room as a courtesy to your partner using the restroom. There was also a hole in the shower wall. My wife was convinced it was a trick learned from the Bates motel. Please take this place off the list. Thanks, Dissatisfied Customer

Lets start with the pros: Convenient to surrounding Amarillo attractions,Its budget friendly and the Staff was friendly. ~~~ However outside of that: ,,,it was a pretty bad sight. the building is very old,,no updates have been made in several years.It smelled of dog urine inside the room, which in fact was suppose to be the nicest they had to offer,,it was a king size suite,~HA!~ a hard bed and a tv,,nothing else,,not even any toiletries,,,,,the carpets were stained so badly I was afraid to allow my children to walk on them..As they prepared to shower,,,cock roaches ran out from the shower curtain,,causing quite a stir. The Hot Tub sounded like a rewarding treat,,,However,,upon approaching we discovered the water was a cloudy yellow/brown color...not at all sanitary looking, we decided quikly against getting in. The swimming pool area had indoor carpet,,which again,, was smelly and stained. The indoor pool was covered with old cracked skyights and black mold growing in several places~~ I would strongly suggest to spend a few extra dollars and stay next door,,there are several motels in the area, which are much nicer and I would guarantee well worth spending a lil more.

I regret to say that this was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. It was totally run down. Mold in the tub and around the base of the tub.((I have pictures to document this) It was so dirty I was not able to sleep, afraid if something would crawl into my bed. Also there were 3 men sitting under my window and I had to step over them to get to my room and I could hear them talking even with the ac running. I only stayed because there was a convention in town and no other hotels had a room available. I think they should give me a complete refund

The rooms are very dirty. We had to keep our shoes on the carpet was that dirty. My wife got like 6 bites on her after sleeping there. We had to get a new room when we checked in because of the smell of the room. The bathroom door would not close the tub would not drain had to stand in the dirty water after the shower. This hotel is very dirty and the rooms are so nasty would not recomend this to any one stay away.

The pictures make it look like a decent hotel to stay at, but they're totally misleading. Room was gross. Bed was gross. Lobby was gross.

The hotel had the appearance of a run-down bug invested abandon building. Majority of the rooms were closed do to remodeling. The door for my room was severely damaged. The dead bolt was pointless because the wood around it was BROKEN. When trying to take a shower, the water pressure was pitiful and the shower head was grossly dirty and water was ever where but down. The lobby was clean and the Customer service was GREAT. The POOL was a GREAT BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. The inside of the pool was cracked and tiles were missing and the water made my skin itchy. The flooring around the pool was disgusting. Carpet looked like it has been there since the building was constructed and all the chairs and tables were covered in dust. Plus the ceiling was cracked and poorly repaired. When asking for towels from the cleaning lady was IMPOSSIBLE. She didn't speak English and was rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would never stay there again in its current condition. I can't believe that I WASTED $$$$ on a crappy place for one night.

Perfectly comfortable hotel, if not a little rundown. Everyone was really pleasant, and their "hot" breakfast included waffles shaped like Texas. With a sense of humor, it was an enjoyable experience.

I am a huge hotels.com user, as a matter of fact it is the only way I book my hotels. However. Out of everywhere that I have ever stayed, this hotel was by far the worst. There were screws coming out of the ceiling, there was not a fitted sheet on the mattress, the parking lot had an immense number of huge potholes in it, the customer service representative at the front dest was rude and completely unprofessional. I understand the phrase "you get what you pay for" but I have had a cleaner and more pleasant stay at places that I paid half of the price for. I would NEVER reccommend anyone staying in this hotel... EVER.
