Hotel had rooms under construction and tools in the hallway. Despite having a Ric's Grill restaurant in the hotel the food was mediocre at best and over priced. The room itself was very nice and extremely clean! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the spa in the hotel, despite being a little on the pricey side, had wonderful services!

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Right next to the Olympic Park, easy highway access. Not close to downtown. Not close to airport, but easy drive to it. Immediate neighborhood is like a rest stop, with gas stations and fast food, but nothing else.

This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Terrible night's sleep

The hotel had good spacious rooms. The location was a bit far from my daily destination, however it was close enough to make it work.

Although it was off on the west side, it was easy enough to get to where we needed to be and the staff was fantastic. Restaurant and Lounge were clean, friendly and service was great. Will stay again

Good hotel and good rate. Only complaint was the lights on the outside of the hotel made the room bright for sleeping.

Would definitely stay here again. Very nice rooms. Price was right. Location was good. Nice view of the COP (Canada Olympic Park) site. The only issue and it's a small one was that the vending machine on the 3rd floor was poorly stocked.

Across the street from Canada Olympic Park, minutes from downtown Calgary and only an hour from Skiing in the Mountains, the Four Star provides access to it all. The room was recently upgraded and provided just what we needed for a romantic getaway. Ric's grill, newly reneovated as well, would be great for business and dinner meetings. Overall a nice place to stay for a variety of reasons.

I won't bother with a suite again. The regular rooms are more comfortable. Overall the hotel is good.

Hotel was a little squeeky (i.e. couch, doorknob), but it was a really nice place to stay. Room was clean and had lots of space (we had the Queen Suite), and was great for a family of four to stay in.

The hotel was lovely, the room, a king suite, was a perfect set-up for my husband, two kids and I. I believe our room was recently renovated-all new= very clean!!After a busy day the kids loved the pool-water slide as a big hit!

We found the room very noisy as there was a lot of comotion in the hallway very late (3 A/M) and also the trans canada highway. We previously stayed at the hotel next door and will go back there for aour next stay as it suited us much better. We were dissapointed with all the plactic drink ware and felt that Sheraton' s attention to detail has been reduced.

Location was great right on the outskirts of the city. Fast Food chains were just a walk away. Acommodations were nice. The room was clean, air conditioner working well. Needed more tumblers/cups since we had 4 people in the room

The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the dining room crew. Even though the main dining room was under renovation during my stay, and staff had to make do with temporary dining room set up in a meeting room, they were cheerful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was a little limited, however everything was hot and tasty. My room was fresh and clean with new furniture and fixtures. It had independently controlled heating and cooling that worked very well, and large windows with good light. While right across the Trans-Canada highway from the Calgary Olympic Park, with a great view of the ski jumps, this hotel is also near the middle of nowhere. It's a $30 cab ride from downtown, and the local colour includes McDonalds, Wendy's, Greek take-out, a pretty good pizza place, two liquor stores and a carwash. If you're looking for nightlife, that's why they have cable TV. I've stayed here twice now, and will be happy to return. There is shuttle service to and from the hotel from downtown and Calgary airport, provided by Mr. Singh, who is perhaps one of the highlights of my latest stay. Check it out.

This hotel was acceptable for what I needed - a place to crash while on business. The area is not interesting at all (unless you are going to Canada Olympic Park which is nearby). The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. Normal for this category of hotel. Free parking and internet were nice perks.

Overall fairly good stay at the 4 Points Sheraton in Calgary. The room was very clean.The staff was very nice and a good location very close to #1 highway that turns into 16 AVE while driving thru Calgary.Only minor problem was at the breakfast buffet the toaster was not working for the 2 days I had the breakfast buffet.

After reading the other reviews my family and I thought this would be a great place to stay...until we arrived! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the pool was about a 2 out of 5. VERY COLD!!Not suitable for young children. Upon returning to our room to shower after the pool, there was hairs still in the shower from the past guests, so we cleaned it before we showered then decided to check the sheets before getting into bed and the sheets were stained and the duvet covers had not been changed. at 10pm with two small kids we had someone drop off clean linens...yes I said drop off....for us to change!

usually we book hotels by the airport when we go to Calgary but this hotel was priced unusually low for the rates that day so we decided to book it on a whim..I am so glad we took that leap of faith..beautiful room - very spacious..and what luxury to have such a nice balcony..wall mounted Screen (not those old bulky tv's) and nice king sized bed...room was clean and hotel had nice treats like apples in a bowl and coffee available in the front lobby. Plenty of parking...worth every penny and the drive. Will definitely stay again!

Nice old hotel, friendly staff. They forgot to make my bed one day, but overall well worth the mondy.

Close to COP and easy place to find comute from. Worth spending the night at. Very easy to head out of Calgary to the mountains.

We stayed here for our daughter's birthday as a surprise. The hotel staff was great in helping facilitate the surprise, we wanted to check in first and get balloons ready before she came in. I asked to switch the first room they had us in, it was on the main floor and looked right out at the parking lot, they gave us a room with a balcony no questions asked. The rooms look nice, but it smelled awful, as if it had been soaking in urine for days! I wasn't about to switch rooms again though since our little girl was outside waiting to come in so I opened a window and hoped the smell would fade. Then came bed time, neither myself of my husband got a wink of sleep because the bed was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, worse than camping! The pillows weren't much better except that they were so overstuffed with feathers that we may as well have been sleeping upright. This was not what you expect in a hotel that bears the Sheraton name, even if it is a "Four Points". I wouldn't recommend staying here to my worst enemy until they clean the rooms (or use less stinky cleaning agents) and get new beds and pillows.

I have to admit that we wouldn't have picked this hotel, but was suggested to us. If you stay at this hotel you will need a car to get anywhere. It looks like they cater more for the conference set or group booking types. The ammenities of the hotel are OK (pool, gym, etc) they do have free internet that is reasonable speed. For us it was just that we didn't have a car and our friends had to pick us up all the time. The front desk staff seemed not to know (or care to much) when we asked questions, eg How do you get to Downtown? "Oh you need to get the bus and train" well thanks very much that helps a lot...not !! I spent plenty of time finding out my own answers on their free internet !! Another thing, we had to leave a note on the bed to get the sheets etc changed. Their compedium of info was light on, with the "Things to Do" folder empty !! If we had not booked through Hotels.com and thus Non refundable we would have moved.

The lobby of the hotel was very nice, but the room did not look like the one advertised. The rooms were very old. One of the comforters on the beds had a stain. I was not comfortable in the room. It was being renovated and they must not have gotten to the rooms yet!

Very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Great location right on the Trans Canada Hwy across from the Olympic Park in Calgary. We had all the amenities and were minutes from major shopping centres. Great price. The staff were all very pleasant and very easy to talk to. We have one suggestion that would have been very helpful to have in our room and that is a towel hook on the bathroom door. Other than that one hiccup we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to our friends and family!

Wow so many good things to say about this hotel! This was the first time I stayed in a Four Points, and I'm not sure how I'm going to stay anywhere else again! Everything about this facility was top notch! Service: I was early to check in so they upgraded me to a king suite instead of just a king room! Gift Shop: They were able to charge it to my room since I didn't bring my wallet Fitness Center: By FAR the best fitness center I've experienced in a hotel. They had amazing machines! Room: The room was really nice! Dark brown wood floors, very spacious. Clean, and the water pressure was really good! They were doing some construction down the hall, but I couldn't hear it at all once I was in my room.

I was welcomed to smiling faces and a free upgrade to a king suite even though this was the 1st time I've used this brand. Great room, staff, facility! Highly recommend!

We booked this hotel as it is on the outskirts to the west of Calgary and the closest to Bragg Creek we could get, as my husband was in a mountain bike race there. It is definitely away from the downtown core, however, the neighbouring area has restaurants and shopping for everything we needed. The hotel is in great shape (as it is pretty new), and the service was extraordinary. There is a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price in the morning, and complimentary coffee as well. If you like, Denny's and McDonald's are right across the street. Our room was a standard 2 bed, but it included a lounge area near the entrance that we were able to close the door to. The lounge had a TV in it as well, so it was great, since we were traveling with our son, and his bedtime is earlier than ours. Overall, a great hotel; I am sure we will stay here again.

The hotel rooms were under renovation when I went. It was kind of a hassle to get to my room amongst all the doors and construction equipment in the hallways. The new renovated rooms are fantastic. It has a nice european feel to the rooms with the dark wood furniture, cabinets and floors. The bed was super comfortable. A very nice pillow top. The staff is very attentive and very courteous! I would match this to any 4 star hotel. The location of the hotel is not the best. It's definitely in the industrial district. It is however very close the highway and convenient for getting up to Banff. It's also a very short 30 minute drive to the airport and you don' t have to go through town to get there. Sheraton has a very nice product. I'm sure if the construction was done I would have rated it higher. Great rate through Hotels.com!

I always stay here when in Calgary. The hot tub is just a little too hot and the pool a little too cool.

This was a very clean, and updated hotel. We were in a newly renovated room which was very spacious. This is not the place to stay if you are travelling back into the city to do the tourist thing ( like we did the next day) but a great location if you are headed on to Banff.
