Wonderful view from the terrace. Buffet breakfasts were wonderful. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Thanks Hotels.com!!

I stayed there for 1 night, was very convient to the train station. Close walk to many sites. Dining room on the 5th floor was outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. Front desk staff was "ok" small bar in lobby was comfortable. Room was large, we had 3 beds, very large windows. was quite considering location so close to train station. I would stay here again!

I really liked the simpleness of the rooms. The bathtub was very spacious. I loved the view from the window and the high ceilings gave the room a nice regal feel to it.

Perfect location. Helpful staff. Very nice room. hotel is well taken care of. Somewhat disappointed in menu of roof top restaurant. Not very reflective of the area. Lovely view from the restaurant.

Above average hotel. Very close to landmarks. The staff could be nicer. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The air conditioning was not an option and the room gets too hot by midnight. When you open the window the street noise is loud. Next to bus and train station makes it handy but very noisy. Breakfast had a variety of European offerings.

Very convenient to train station. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the top floor serving breakfast has an amazing view. Our rate included breakfast and was worth every penny. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommended.

I always stay at the Baglioni and enjoy the fact that every room is slightly different and yet all have quirky old parquet floors and sparkling white bathrooms. Breakfast in the Terrazza Brunelleschi with the winter sun rising over the Duomo is spectacular.

The hotel is located close to the train station which makes it an easy walk with luggage in tow. The rooms are large and have a distinctive elegance and charm with a typical European flair. Easy walking distance to attractions, restaurants and shopping. Would recommend this hotel without reservation.

The hotel is nice but nothing special and clearly needs an update. From a working perspective the rooms are too dark. However, if you want to have a perfect view from the 5th floor restaurant and your 4th floor room on the city and be in walking distance to more or less everything than this is the perfect place to stay.

Although the hotel is 100 hundred years old, we did not expect the room furnitures are the same the hotel, as for the bathroom, the water temperature for showering is rather irregular, sudden hot and cold, not consistence, the soundproofing is very disturbing, you be able to hear next door moaning, with this rate, I think I might able to check-in another much better hotel. Thank you.

This hotel was extremely outdated. There were ants and roaches in our bathroom. There was a blinding blue neon sign outside of our window, which was so high up that you had to stand on your tippy toes to see out of it. The room was like a prison cell and the bed was beyond hard. The hair dryer was from the sixties and didn't work at all. We asked for a more updated room but they were full the first night we were there. They said that they could possibly upgrade us the second day but there would be a fee. The only redeeming quality to this hotel is the view from the roof; however, it was rented out to private events both nights we were there, so we weren't able to eat at the hotel. This hotel was absolutely terrible and I do not understand how they have a 4 star rating

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of our Honeymoon. This is an excellend hotel in a great location. Our room was extremely clean along with the rest of the hotel. The restaurant on the roof is great and the view is even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Overall, we were satisfied, however the nighttime front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. There were several occasions that we needed assistance and they were completely unresponsive. Our room was located on the first floor and very nice, however the floors were terribly creaky. You could not take a single step without very loud creaking. The hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect. Being directly across from the train station was super convenient.

Do not accept room 127 for you stay; the only annoying thing about this hotel was that you could hear water rushing down the pipes late at night and early morning. Other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well located, friendly hotel. They have a brilliant roof terrace and this alone is worth the stay with its superb views of the city and especially the Duomo.

It was amazing. The roof top terrace can not be beat! Incredible views.

Nice big room with squeeky wooden floors. breakfast was suboptimal. the coffee tasted bad. service was so-so.. Location remains great. The concierge gave us completely wrong walking dierctions for a restaurant he recommended. but it is a nice place to stay overpriced

Loved this Hotel.Great atmosphere - warmly dark with deep rich wood everywhere.Big quiet room with wonderful view over the rooftops to the Duomo.Staff very helpful. Breakfast nice but not great - could be more varied. Go up to the rooftop and view the whole of Florence - a terrific experience.Overall loved the Hotel, room, ambiance. When we return to Florence it will be to the Baglioni

very nice place to stay

We liked the historical feel of the hotel and the roof is spectacular. It is central and so walking is easy wherever you want to visit. The room was not what we booked as a "city view" as it had one small window that looked into an abandoned building next door. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom fine. Nothing grand but perfectly lovely to rest and cleanup when you are spending time in such a beautiful city. Desk staff also not helpful on several occasions asking for directions and recomendations.

This hotel proved a great base in the centre of Florence for our 5 days there. It's not too far to walk to all the main attractions which suited us, it's also really easy from the station so great if you've got bags. The hotel itself is really nice and clean inside. There are stunning views from the restaurant and roof terrace, at least as good as the photos show! Staff were helpful and friendly when we needed them. Everything we needed and we would definitely go back again!

Fantastic. we stayed at the Baglioni seven years ago and enjoyed it then. We did, however, enjoy this stay even more because of tall the upgrades the Baglioni has made. An easy ten-minute walk to Il Duomo, the Baptistry, and the Camanile; a two minute walk to Santa Maria Novella, a ten-minute walk to the Accadamia to see the David; a ten-minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and the River Arno. Fantastic. And the roof-top terrace for drinks after dinner dinner was nothing short of spectacular. But then again, every hotel we have booked on Hotels.com has been a great find at low prices. We are very pleased with Hotels.com

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The location is great directly across the street from the main train terminal. The service and cleaniness of the rooms was definitely excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and have recommend to our friends.

The staff was helpful and courteous. They arranged tours and dinner reservations for us. We were pleased with all their suggestions. This hotel is an old hotel that has been updated. One problem we encountered was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. There was only one that was accessable. Besides that, the hotel has great charm. The view from their restaurant is fabulous.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to answer any questions about the area. The rooftop garden/restauraunt is amazing. The hotel is very clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location to all the sites in Florence. Lighting in the room and the A/C could be better. Breakfast was great and don't miss the roof top areas that give great views of the city.

I really liked the hotel, especially the location and the old charm.The 5th floor restaurant was incredible. The food and service was excellent, and the view is spectacular.However, Our AC did not work properly for the 2 nights we stayed at the hotel even after 4 reports duriung the couse of our stay. My mention at checkout of no AC for both nights was met with no comment, no an apology of any kind. This surprised me from what I consider a pretty class hotel.

Perfect location and a great hotel. Our room was lovely, more like a suite. Hotel was well kept and views from the breakfast room/restaurant were amazing. Hotel seems to have a lot of business guests, which usually shows it's a good hotel. Only downside is they wont provide irons/ironing boards as they want you use the dry cleaning service.

Wonderful views from the rooftop restaurant and terrace. The hotel is very convenient to the train station.

This hotel was quite satisfactory. All but one of the desk staff were very helpful. Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean though a bit dated, but that adds to the charm of this historic hotel. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I would stay here again.

I like the hotel lobby but the rooms is very old

Florence is a great old city, which also makes it difficult to find a nice hotel with modern amenities. We lucked out with this one. The rooms are older but clean...reminds me of how Italian relatives would equip a room in their old home...minimalist but sufficient. The free wifi was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good with amazing views of the city. Location was just a block from the train station, a priority for us. The 'marital bed' was large enough for me, my wife and 4yo daughter. Each floor is expansive...and we were unfortunately as far from the elevator as could be...maybe because they thought my daughter would make noise...or they were otherwise full.

room was little bit cold but it was a great hotel . location is very close to cemtral station. view in the 5th floor is brilliant . room is quite large and comfortable

Very convenient and once you walked out from SMN station of Milan, you will find the hotel. Service is warm and even bellboy can speak English. However, very noisy at night as I don't know why there were so many ambulances passing by with high tone ringing until very late at night during my stay. Breakfast is ok but no surprise. Still a good choice due to its location!
