The renovated rooms are much better than the older ones. Request for the new rooms if possible. The breakfast is basic but passable.

Amenities too little for two persons1 soap and 1 bottle shampoo.Toilet paper low quality.Strong and Strange smell in room.

Great location right in the middle of Chinatown. Step straight outside onto bustling Petaling Street. Within walking distance to the light rail. A multitude of eateries surround the hotel & there are also convenience shops close by. Friendly helpful staff good free wifi worth while paying s little bit extra for the deluxe roomm Breakfast buffet included in the price. Would definitely stay here again.

Place for good local cuisines and short getaway trip.

An excellent place in Chinatown. The room was small but the people very nice and professional. Very good food at the restaurant.

The first room I had was small and gloomie with no window. I woke up in the middle off the night and the bed was covered in bugs and I was cover in bits, I got moved the next room was just as small with no window and again woke up in the night with bugs on my bed. Not sure what kind off bugs but when I squashed them they where full off blood. Good location in middle off china town. Breakfast was just ok.

The only problem is that the rooms are small.

Dear I had my worst stay in a hotel in my life ever so far. 1. What you see in the website is not what you get 2. booked two rooms, were very tiny and a very bad smell coming out of the toilets which made our first night like hell as we did not get 1 min sleep due to the smell, complained that night, they say they will fix it second day 3. they gave us another two rooms, smell even worse (very old rooms) as there is no ventelation no windows 4. over all i wished i stayed at the street at least i can get fresh air 5. Because it is non refundable booking, i had stayed outside all night just to avoid sleeping early in that conditions. I was compeletely unhappy

The first room we were allocated smelled moldy as there were no windows and the toilet fan broken and insanely noisy. We were then allocated to another room: twin beds instead of double bed as nothing else was available, but again no window, the interior of the room was very old and you could not switch of the main lights in the room without turing off all power in the room. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff were very helpful, however this could not make up for the very poor rooms. Other rooms may be of better quality, but my impression is that you can find better accommodation in KL in a similar or lower price range.

Ideally located and very comfortable for families to stay. Courteous staff and enjoyable food. Central to all places of kuala lumpur and well connected. Lot of hustle and bustle around gives a secure feeling for families. China town a good shopping experience.

this hotel has a great location, the rooms are clean and modern, although they are a little small. the only complaint i have is that there is no where to put shampoo and soap, etc in the shower, and if your room is near the cafe it can be pretty noisy in the mornings. supposed to have really great hawker food, but didnt have time to eat it and it is more expensive then you find on the street. breakfast buffet is decent

We did not receive what was advertised and paid for on the net. Watched the cleaning staff "clean' our room. They did not vacuum the carpets. The cleaner cleaned the bathroom with the shampoo and wiped the floors and sink and possibly toilet with the towels that are provided for the guests!!!!!!! Will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

The hotel is in my opinion ok for a 3* hotel. What spoiled it was : 1) my wife's one call to the Spa next door to the hotel cost more than $2.00 Malaysian which is exhorbitant considering it's a local call and lasted probably 2-3mins. It should be provided free cos if we had used a local public phone the cost would have been less than .20cts! 2) One of the guests slammed his door and woke me up @ 3am. To be fair It could be Chinese New Year and a one-off thing! The hotel is in a good location if one likes and do not mind the hustle and bustle of China Town where one can get to sample local specialties and shopping etc.

Nice, clean, friendly staff, convenient location, OK breakfast with many choices but not to the western taste. The advantage of getting a standard room without window was that it's quiet BUT the room is so small that we could hardly move around, there's no closet or any place that we could hang our clothes up or unpack our suitcase. Super clean bathroom with shower. If you just need a place to come back to sleep, this is a good value.

Simple, clean and in the middle of Chinatown, nice hotel for a short stay and look around Kuala Lumpur. Staff was nice, room was tiny but clean and comfortable, breakfast was ok. Worth the money we paid.

there is no refrigerator or wardrobe in delux rooms. the air conditioner (spit type) was barely cooling the room. on the last night of our stay, the AC started dripping in middle of the night. The only difference in delux and superior room is the window. For delux rooms this window does not give any view but a building next to swiss-in which is hardly few meters away. Only thing which we liked for this hotel were the breakfast and the location. the buffet breakfast is fairly good. the hotel is right in the center of china town. Accessing trains, buses etc is very convenient from here. IF POSSIBLE DONT STAY HERE !!!!

Locality of Swiss Inn KL is in the heart of China-town. Variety of local food is excellent. I enjoyed the night market and its hawker food.

If you are looking a base for shopping, culture, sight seeing, dining, drinking and more.. Look no further.. Ive stayed here twice I got my father and his sister to stay here ive recommended my sister to stay here.. Im 27 and my father and aunt are in their 50s. Good for all ages.. The hotel is in a good location, even for a nights stay to get another connecting flight. Its close to the main transport network. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are normal and just want you need… The rooms are clean and especially the bathroom is FANTASTIC I loved the shower… You’ll feel safe no matter who you are, there are lots of tourists. Hopefully if my review is the decider for you, have a good time… I hope you do, like I did.

I actually stayed in this hotel in early sept 2011 and I booked it on my return because it was all round very good. I had stayed in the Grand Seasons near chow kit before... yes its a nicer hotel but... the swiss inn has it all... nice staff... nice rooms... good location...etc... etc... BTW im 28 male and was holidaying with friends twice and family once...

there are only one socket in the room which is not enough for charging 2 persons handfon and laptop.

This reason I chose to stay at this Hotel yet again was that the walls between the rooms is quite thick and the corridors are wide which keeps the noise down from other guests, this said you do get family groups who run from room to room shouting and slamming doors, but you get that everywhere you go in this part of the world!! This was my second stay at the Swiss Inn on this visit to KL. The first time I had a room in the East Wing where I there was no hot water, so this time they gave me a room on the West Wing, where the room did have hot water, but was so small and had no window and shabby that I went to reception to ask if they had fixed the water problem on the West Wing, to which they said no and that only a few rooms on that side had hot water. I asked if they could give me one of those rooms which they did without delay. My room was on the 7th floor which seems to be the only floor which has windows, there's nothing you could call a view, but at least you have natural daylight coming in. If ever I stay at the Swiss Inn again. I will insist on a room on the 7th floor. The Breakfasts are basic, but there is quite a good choice for the amount you pay for your stay. The Staff are always very pleasant and try to be helpful, but are let down by the maintenance of the building itself sometimes. I have stayed at some much more hotels in KL over the last two years the Radius being one of them and would say that this one is far better.

We learnt from the hotel's web-site that it was centrally located. This claim was confirmed as soon as we checked in. The hotel staff are very helpful. Whenever we wanted some help they responded and responded immediately! They informed us about the availability of free Wi-Fi on their own. we did not know about it. Breakfast was good though we had to go up an down lifts and staircases to reach the location. Three suggestions: 1) If the hotel can receive guests at KL Sentral and drop them back it would be very good. A reasonable charge would be acceptable. 2) At the time of next renovation, the bed-size could be slightly reduced and the space thus gained earmarked for kepping suitcases/clothes. That woud make the rooms more comfortable. 3) The deposit amount of RM 100 for the room key could be reduced to RM 50. We were allowed to check in much early and we could leave our luggages for a couple of hours after we checked out. All staff members are pleasant and genuinely helpful. The hotel stay is the main reason for out enjoyable visit to KL.

I booked 3 rooms and 2 of the guests requested smoking rooms which were at the back building. These rooms were stale, no windows and everything was old. I complained and the front desk recommended to stick a bit of cardboard into the key switch to keep the aircon on. Anyway eventually 1 of the smoking guests went for a non smoking room at the front building. Both of these non smoking rooms were newly renovated with a modern feel, new standalone Aircon, rain shower, LCD tv. These rooms again had no windows but were much better than the back rooms. According to the staff all standard rooms have no windows but this was not stated in the booking! Overall good location, staff are friendly but some rooms are from the 60's.

This hotel is clean and ideally situated, close to the train station and also the Chinese market. I would recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a reasonable hotel and convenient location.

Good lacation - 5 min walk to Pasar Seni stasion. From there you can reach by a bus sunway lagoon (2 rm) Subang airport (2 rm). China town is not like in Singapore, much smoler but still a china town.

The size of the room is very small which could cause a problem if you were to stay there for any length of time. We stayed only one night which was fine. We were allowed to check-in at 9am because we arrived on an early flight. We missed the breakfast the next day but they gave us coffee vouchers, again a nice gesture. The location is very good, next to china town and the tourist spots.

We stayed in a large family room for two nights. The room was good , service and staff very helpful. The location is good for marketing local items specially the Central Market in China Town and the street behind the hotel though the immediate surrounding is not that up market. Fabuous breakfast served in the hotel and lots of options to try out chinese street food nearby. Recommend stay.

the hotel is just in the middle of petaling street which is chinatown! it is also very near to the lrt and bus terminal.

The location was excellent particularly with the Petaling Market right outside the back entrance and it was within walking distance for the Monorail, train and bus stations. The bathroom was quite cramped but overall would recommend this as a good budget hotel.

This was a good little hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. Just make sure you ask for a window in your room if you want one! Assuming they have rooms with windows that is. Great location for Chinatown, restaurants, a really cool bar across the road and great souvenir shops nearby. Five minutes walk from the monorail too, and taxis outside. Would stay again if I couldn't stay nearer KL Sentral, which is just easier.

Location was close to Central Market and Jalan Petaling which are shopping haven and bargain place in Kuala Lumpur. Near the LRT

Very friendly, helpful staff! Although they couldn't figure out how to extend my stay at the front desk and I had to go back through this site, they were incredibly helpful in all other queries.

I highly recommend Swiss Inn Kuala Lumpur for your future stay. It's is a home away from your home.

loved everything about it apart from noise from nightclub somewhere near by- earplugs essential. But then I am an extremely light sleeper- did not - noise did not bother partner. Apart from that, could not fault it- lovely friendly staff, good breakfast, great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Great value for the price, can thoroughly recommend.

Room size is small, not very clean. Toilet has lots of hair that has not been removed prior to my check-in. Will likely to recommend the hotel only based on location.

Clean and spacious rooms, good service and the breakfast is fine (although a little early). Swiss-Inn is in the heart of Chinatown, a great location for a great hotel.

This hotek is in a great location if you want an easy ride to the city, The staff are very friendly but the room needs a little retouch to make it more comfortable especially the bathroom. Food is good but not very safe since it has two entrances.
