The staff here is very polite. I make a dozen trips a year in many different countries and the staff here really sets the standard of courtesy. The shower pressure was low the first day, they had it fixed and called back to make sure the repair was satisfactory. They did this for other requests as well. The hotel is in a central part of Charlotte with walking access to the conference centre, transportation terminal and restaurants. If you have a car, take the parking package which will be less than half of the usual overnight parking package. The gym facilities are a YMCA in the building next door which has a running track, pool, lots of machines, weights and is one of the better gyms available to hotel guests I have seen in a long time.

Stephanie in the executive lounge and Jacqueline from room service were excellent! Over and beyond expectations. The staff of this hotel were wonderful -- great hotel location for an event uptown.

The only complaint I have is the parking. Arrived around 8pm Sat Feb 4 and no valet parking. Have to look for a parking spot, all the way to the top floor of the adjacent parking building. Stayed in hotel for about 20 minutes and thinking that we want to go out again and no parking after we arrived we decided to check out, rather than look for a spot at past 12 mn. Wish we stayed longer but no valet parking and looking for our own parking was a mess. Get your parking straightened out and I will give this hotel a 5-star rating !

Check In was hard with the small area in front of the hotel.

Take shower later in evening if you want it to be warm and are staying in rooms higher than floor 4. Perhaps the laundry takes the hot water in the a.m. or many people using it. PS. Guys parking cars play race car in expensive rods using valet. Not cool dudes, almost hit us walking to exit

Stayed on the executive level of the hotel with a spectacular view of Charlotte. The Executive lounge provides complimentary snacks and a bar each evening withou leaving your level. Good Touch! In the morning it provides a continental breakfast, and there is always great fresh self serve coffees. Will definitely return!

This was one of the most pleasant experiences i've ever had staying at a Hilton. While the parking wasn't the most easy to do, the hotel was great, the bar and restaurants and the staff I interacted with were exceedlingly pleasant and conversational. I was in town during the America's Got Talent Auditions so everything was busy. It had been almost 20 years since I had visited downtown Charlotte at night and had a great time with all the restaurants, bars and general nightlife. I can't wait to go back. The Hitlon is located in a good area. I never felt anything but safe. Downtown Charlotte has a heavy police presence so there's very little mischief if any that happens.

I stayed for a convention, 1 block from the Convention Center, and short walk to downtown restaurants and theaters. Hotel was nice. Tiny lobby with no real area to meet up with friends. Parking deck was confusing - poor signs as to how to get into the hotel.

Close to local attractions and convention center. Restaurants within walking distance. Overnight parking seems steep for the area.

Great hotel... professional staff... but valet parking is in the open... not undercover like the "park yourself" -- so be advised. Your valet parked car will arrive in winter with ice or snow on the windshield etc while a self park stays as it was..

Beds to small

Very nice hotel! Great shops and bar and restaurant located in the hotel. Everything you need was in walking distance. Will always stay here when in Charlotte. Staff were helpful and prompt.

Service of staff was very good, however that is it for the positive experience. First of all the room was very small and outdated. Second, the fitness center and pool they advertise is not owned by the hotel it is the YMCA that is in the connecting tower. It cost an extra 8.00 a day and no children are allowed except for friday night for two hours and 8-4 sat.. Third, did I say the room was small and outdated..just making sure..no refridgerator etc..I would only recommend this hotel to the single business person and not at all a family weekend retreat.

This hotel has 22 floors and only 4 elevators. It took over an hour to get into one, unless you wanted to walk down 20 floors... which we did instead. The receptionist said that parking fees were charged at the time of checkout, but they disabled the door keys at midnight because the fee hadn't been paid. The hotel is in a great location and very clean, but I am disappointed with the overall stay. If you pay that much for a room, there shouldn't be any issues like that at all... that's what you are paying for

Nice hotel in great location. Restaurant and bar service were not as good as i hoped but there are plenty of places within walking distance.

Had a wonderful time. Checking out Sunday was kind of an ordeal but overall the stay was very nice. Eugene is a great guy and helped us with everything we needed!

Stayed one night for a panthers game. It was great. Close to the stadium, beautiful hotel, great food and friendly people. Will stay next time.

Not quite sure what happened, but when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that even though we had a reservation for a room with a king bed, all of them were taken and we were being moved into a room with two double bed. I don't know if this is common when booking with online sites, but it definitely put a damper in the weekend. Especially after paying so much money for a nice hotel downtown.

We were in the states (live in Prague,Czech Republic) For the holidays to visit family and friends. Had to stay center city because we wanted to be close to the city. We stayed at the Omni last year and it was nice but the Hilton had a much bigger room and everything you could want. The price was much cheaper too. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff in this hotel was very friendly and helpful. Especially in the restaurant.

Hotel was comfortable and nice and in a good location for us. Wish parking had been less expensive and, well, that fans were included in the bathrooms!

I thought that it was just a moment of a sudden rush that had the employees working the front desk less than polite. However, after having to go downstairs 3 times to have my key "recoded", I noticed that it was just a bad case of rude uncaring and lack of customer service skills. It is sad that the interior and exterior of the hotel does not begin to tell the story of the horrific personnel working the registration desk. My recommendation, "If you are having a bad day, please stay at home!" Otherwise, my hotel stay was rather pleasant.

The Hilton Charlotte has to be the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff was very attentive and execptionally helpful. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. Very elegant. Our room was top notch along with the food at the Coastal Cafe' and Bar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be well attended with everything you need right at your fingertips.

Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room were very nice and made it easy use laptop and other devices on big screen HDTV. Nightlife and other attractions are only a block or two away!

I stay at Hilton properties quite often and they are my preferred hotel The charlotte Hilton is definitely in need of a overhaul and a partial staff replacement I struggled inside with my bags about 9pm at night, there was no valet present or a bell hop My door keys didn't work and the hotel bar is a joke Next visit to charlotte will be staying at the westin

Had a wonderful stay at the Hilton. The entire staff was very helpful. The bell service and valet service attendants were excellent. Our bell service attendant even made sure when we left that we knew exactly how to get back to the interstate. We didnt have to ask him he just took it upon himself to ask us. Will surely stay there again.

I checked into an executive king room for business thinking the room would be well worth the extra. It wasn't. While the hotel was clean and maintained, the room just didn't warrant the price. I would recommend staying here, but in their cheapest room, since you won't gain much by purchasing the extras.

Stayed one night, walking distance from Epicentre. Loved our stay.

Hotel was comfortable enough - hotel staff left much to be desired: front desk was not terribly accomodating and the cleaning staff didn't make it to my room before 7pm (at which point I was in for the evening). But room was clean and very spacious. Convenient location for Charlotte.

My stay at the hilton was great, the hotel and surrounding area were very convieniant everything was within walking distance. the clubs were great and there were plenty of places to eat. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Eventhough we were in the heart of the city it was still quiet. I am definatly booking here whenever I come to town.
