This was our third trip to Canmore staying at the Ramada Inn. For the price, this is a GREAT hotel. We requested, with Hotels.com, a room on the top floor with a view and we got it. The room was a fair size, very clean and the beds comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave, which are nice to have. There was a slight chemical smell to the room, which was quickly taken care of by the staff. We received a courtesy call from the front desk after a few minutes of being in our room making sure everything was satisfactory. It was then that I mentioned the smell, most likely furniture polish or something, and within minutes we had someone knocking with a room sanitizer. It worked great, too. We had a great time at the pool and waterslide with our three children (hard to find a hotel that allows five to a room, without charging more). The breakfast well basic, was good. How can anyone complain about complimentary breakfast, anyway? The staff are very friendly and helpful. We love Canmore and Banff, enjoyed some wonderful hikes, and walks around both towns. It was a wonderful little get-a-way to celebrate our anniversary with our family. Thanks Ramada and Hotels.com.

Wonderful hotel. Our room was quite large with a view of the Three Sisters mountain range. While we faced the train tracks, the sound didn't bother us at all--even with the window open. Great complimentary breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Certainly worth every penny. I highly recommend this hotel whether you are a couple or have a family. Excellent experience!

The pool is cold but the waterslide is fun. Not much space for the large buses to turn around the end of the building, its not a great sound to hear a bus scrap against the building. But overall it was a good stay.

We stay here every time when passing thru. Nice hotel. clean and friendly

Everything was superb especially for the price. Try the Spice Hut next door for excellent Indian food. Everything was perfect at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our night at the Ramada Inn. We were upgraded to the Pullman Suite when we arrived. We we celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary so what a treat to be upgraded when we got there. Staff were very nice.

This was our first stay at the Ramada Canmore. We stayed in a 2-queen bedroom on the road side (quieter than the rail side) on the 3rd (top) floor. We really enjoyed the pool & waterslide & 3-story high winding spinny waterslide! The hot tub was nice too with powerful jets. The view of the mountains from the pool was really nice too. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working, but it did have a sign letting us know to use a machine on another floor. The room was very simple, but clean and had a nice view of the mountains. The TV was a little on the small side, and it would have been nice to have the option of ordering movies on the TV. The bedding was very cozy, but I found the mattress a little too firm for my liking. The complimentary continental breakfast the next day was fabulous! With different brews of coffee, varied juices (apple, cranberry, orange, grapefruit), hot scrambled eggs, hot sausage links, assortment of pancakes, waffles, assorted breads and bagels you could toast, assorted muffins, danishes, mixed cereals, butter, cream cheese, oranges, etc - what a great selection of all-you-can eat delicious complimentary food! I would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars!

Room was clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the pool & liked that the hotel was in a convenient location.

It is pretty fair value for the money spent. The rooms are ok, the staff friendly, good breakfast selection, appreciate pool and fitness room.

the first night no sleep due to a crying baby next door with the paper thin walls and children running up and down the halls screaming and yelling, the breakfast buffet was a nightmare, no tables were cleaned after use, staff was scarce; the front desk staff were very friendly and professional and gave us a room change after the first noisy night; second night not much better for noise level.

Unfortunately I heard every train that went by, as well as felt every train that went by, as well as I heard every person walk down the hallway. They were just talking and you could hear them. If your looking for a good night sleep, then this is not it.

Our only negative point is taking room on railway side...the train sound is high. Other than that everything is very good especially the water slide.

Staff was fantastic and room was clean. Pillows were terrible and although they had a flat screen in the room, it was small and sitting on the top of the dresser and not viewable from bed. Propped it up on a garbage can which helped but still was not ideal. Floor in dining room downstairs was covered in debris (crumbs, bits of food, etc.). This was not a great last impression.

This hotel is great for family with kids. My kids had so much fun in the three story waterslide and their breakfast had so many varities. Planning go to banff every year and stay in the hotel to end our trip.

for an older Hotel the accommodations were good. cannot complain would recommend staying there for 1 or 2 nights.

The hotel is nice, the water slide was fun and the breakfast was a great bonus, but the Hotel backs onto the Railway. Friday night to Saturday morning there were between 8 and 12 trains, and the whole room shock each time and woke us all up. The other nights, there were only 2 or 3 trains a night. But we would not stay here again, there are alot better options in the area.

booked last minute, + points swimming pool, breakfast and close to Banff, - points, do not book railway side thought we may have 1 or 2 trains go by not the case, and the room smelt of diesel fumes in the morning from the trains. Beds comfy but pillows like rock, sink cracked and shower door kept getting stuck, toiletries 1 small container of each item not enough for four people glad I brought my own. Overall would rate 3 out of 10, wouldn't stay here again.

We've used the Canmore Inns & Suite a number of times when we are travelling in Canada. Its about 1.5 hrs from Calgary airport which is ideal after a trans-atlantic flight. Some of the rooms are starting to look a litlle tired but are clean and everthing works. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely the highlight of the stay is their breakfast which has an extensive choice of food on offer and is in a lovely breakfast room - and its free!!. Definitely recommend.

Hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly. Continental breakfast was a great bonus. Kids loved the waterslide and pool, very kid friendly hotel. Location was central and within walking distance or a short drive to most major attractions. Little noisey due to the trains that pass by one side of the hotel. Would recommend getting a room on the other side. No matter where you are you have an incredible view of the mountains. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, friendly staff, clean and has a waterslide! Excellent deal!

was very good

We stayed for Christmas holidays and while they meant well in putting us right beside the pool for easy access it was very noisy. Kids running through the halls till at least 9:30pm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They do allow pets so we heard dogs barking one night. The continental breakfast was amazing. Our stay may have been better had we been on the top floor.

Nice family hotel with nice pool and big continental breakfast. Just make sure u book on the street side of the hotel cuz the train tracks run right behind hotel and trains go through town all night

This hotel was chosen for price, hot free breakfast and the water slide to entertain the kids at night. It met all those conditions and so I have no complaints. The noisy train woke me up a few times.

Nice place.

nice stay, great location, quiet, descent rooms. needs a bit more lighting in the rooms, no switches just lamps.

Would certainly stay again. Room large, clean, lots of amenities eg iron, hairdryer,etc. Laundry facilities on site. Excellent continental breakfast with lots of choices for any appetite or diet. Friendly and informative staff.

no complaints

Very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean. The options for food ect, were great. They have a very nice breakfast room with a great selection. Let's face it if you're looking for 5-Star this ain't it, but it's not trying to be. It's a very nice, very servicable room for a not unreasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Canmore.

It was okay. I was disappointed with the pool and hot tub. Didn't feel comfortable at all in that area. It was dark and uninviting. The room was okay for our 1 night stay.

It was not a quiet hotel. I was directed to a store that was closed. but nice hotel over all.

It is pretty good place to stay, and it was pretty convenient because there were everything inside hotel, such as, pool, sauna and everything.

It was one of the best weekend getaways I have ever experienced.
