Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol - شيبول

This is a good hotel for one night. The staff is efficient and friendly. The room, although small, is just fine for one night. The room was clean, the Internet worked well, and it was quiet. The only slightly negative comment I have is that the hotel is not actually connect to the airport as the information on this site advertises. One must walk far past the Sheraton to the end of the hallway. It is then a brief walk outside. Just take the elevator down, it is located outside, and the follow the Hilton signs painted on the ground. It is an odd way to get there, but it really is no problem. Plan a 15 min walk from terminal to hotel for a slow walker.

Typical airport hotel. Good gym. Great breakfast. Less expensive than adjacent Sheraton. Stayed here for long weekend in Amsterdam. 15/20 min train ride to Amsterdam Centraal. Better value than downtown hotels. Would use again.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel and its absolutely marvelous staff. We couldn't have asked for better service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. They are building a new Hilton on site and it is expected to be completed sometime in 2015. The rooms, of course, are older and that is why they are building a new hotel. The location is ideal since it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel or they run a shuttle service.

Hotels at Amsterdam was expensive...maybe thats why I could land up at Hilton for the first time.. right at the heart of the airport at schiphol, it was convenient for me to make all the travels via train... be it to the city...arnhem...doorn or harlem. Hotel was good and rooms comfortable though I didnt took the breakfast, stayed there for 3 nights...

It was a good overnight stay and being able to walk to Schiphol Airport was extra good. It will be better when the new Hilton is built though, as we had a 50 metre walk in the open air to reach the front door of the hotel. I wouldn't like to take this walk in the dark!

Very comfortable room. Nice breakfast buffet. Appreciated the friendly and efficient transport to and from hotel to airport.

Power went off partially in the room, when reported in the morning nobody could fix it until 11:AM, this was already past my check out time.

aircondition in the rooms didn't work - service guy tried to repair but still didn't work - changed rooms - but in the new room it wasn't much better - very sticky and warm air the whole night - didn't sleep very well. The service was very good - everybody tried to solve the problem !

Typical average stay at an airport . They are building a new Hilton right now. This hotel was in need of an update. I didn't like that you couldn't use Wifi in the room. We had to sit in lobby or pay for Wifi in room. The location was great for use of train travel to go back into Amsterdam and to catch our flight out back to states. Very easy to go through indoor parking lot, take an elevator to level 2 and straight over to airport.

We walked from Airport to Hotel. Staff was friendly, breakfast was exceptional. New Hilton being built in front of this one. Was convient to catch train downtown to Amsterdam. Plan on staying here next time we visit Amsterdam.

Our stay was very good and the location of the hotel was perfect. We could walk under cover for the most part with our bags to the departure gate without difficulty.

Adding to hotel. To be Done in 2 years. Currently rooms painfully small. Construction all I we feint if hotel. Location is the only ideal as connected to AMS airport.

For quick access to the airport and easy access to the city, this was perfect. Hotel staff were wonderful and the train runs right below to the airport. The beds weren't as comfy as US Hiltons and it's a bit of a walk through airport buildings, but we'd choose it again.

this hotel was perfect for our long layover. we were also pleasantly surprised to find free water and fruit, computer access, and massage chairs in the lounge! Easy walk from the airport, so nice for making our connections the following day. We recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay near the airport.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very welcoming. Great stay and the shuttle driver was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! I walked to the airport in about 7 minutes after I missed the shuttle one of my 4 trips to and from the airport.

Stayed one night with two pals while connecting flights. Staff great. Room good.Would use again

Staff are extremely pleasant and want to do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. So close to the departure gate making it a hotel that is great for the night before your flight.

If you are catching a flight out the next morning then this is a great hotel. It is within walking distance of the airport and train station. They have a shuttle as well.

Take a copy of your reservation, as we booked (and paid for) bed and breakfast, and they said breakfast was not included... but, after reviewing our reservation copy we took with us, sorted it out. Very happy with the location, room, service and breakfast; would definitely stay there again if over-nighting in Amsterdam.

Excellent Hotel choice as a stopover between flights in Amsterdam. We enjoyed 6 hours in the city then took the train back to the Airport - the hotel is right next to the terminal - there is a covered walkway between the terminal and the Hotel. Hotel was available to us early, room was quiet and of a high quality - great stopover sleep. Would stay again.

We had a very good time and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was a bit small and there wasn't any storage space for our perdsonal items. That is the only drawback from our stay.

The hotel is beautiful, new clean welcoming staff . Rooms very comfortable. Convenient shuttle bus very available when you call!. Restaurant very pricey though

The control switch for the heat was broken. Had to put the fan on high to be able to sleep in the too hot room. The control for the bath/shower temperature came off in my hand. This Hilton stay was a disappointment. The downstairs entry gave a sense that this hotel thought it was top flight, but it wasn't.

very small room. The airport Sheraton has bigger rooms and looks newer and better maintained

We walked to the hotel from the airport with one roller bag each. Got there about 0900 expecting to store our bags, but a room was ready so we got into it early. Walked back to airport and caught train to Amsterdam for walking tour of city. Spent night at hotel, walked to airport for flight to Venice. Worked well for us!!

The hotel room was very warm when we arrived. I notified the front desk and left for the remainder of the day. When I returned, the room felt a couple of degrees cooler so I didn't request a room change. My mistake as the room remained new 28 degrees, too hot for me to have a comfortable night sleep. Reception was courteous and appologetic at check-out and offered me an upgrade on my next stay. Hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. Good hotel for an overnight stay.

Bar meal and breakfast outstanding. Location and convenience great. One problem with maintenance - bath/shower took over 2 hours to drain! Otherwise it was a perfect place to break our trip from Ismir to Seattle. I'd stay there again, as I suspect the problem simply hadn't be reported.

We choose this hotel because we had an early morning flight. The location was great & shuttle service was also very good. However, hotel maintenance was marginal - one elevator was not working & the air conditioning in our room was also not working. They said that they would send someone to fix it but that never happened while we were there. .We did enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.

One of the two elevators was broken in the morning, so the other was packed and a mess. Stay was quiet and good otherwise.

the mattress was the worst of the many hotels I have stayed in for the last 4 decades. the mattress must have been left over from the 60s.... both wife and I have a real struggle to try and sleep on the steep slope down to the middle. Very disappointing for a a hotel that should have better quality.

All went smooth and would recommend this hotel for a short stay near the hotel.

Very convenient to airport. Can walk easily through covered walkway or take shuttle. Bathroom was not clean, but we were moved to a new room immediately and sent a fresh fruit plate as an apology. We would stay there again.

Hotel was nice and clean and was located very close to airport. But for business there was no free wired or wireless in the rooms or lobby

Moldy sandwich in minibar that was noisy.Sandwich removed promptly.Hotel staff were attentive & courteous.Waiting staff in dining room where both attentive & unattentive.
