Hilton Hanoi Opera - هانوي

The hotel was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable place to stay with great facilities in downtown Hanoi! The rooftop pool was amazing! The restaurants had delicious food, but were a bit pricey - there are plenty of local restaurants in the area if you are looking for something cheaper. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake. And a 15 minute walk to the Old Quarter.

Book an Executive Room and as be treated treated as very special.Service and advise was first class,great toiletries,business facilities and not a bad breakfast.Located next to the Opera House made it a quiet and enjoyable stay.

Arraignment of car pickup from the airport needs improvement . Despite my reservation several weeks in advancement and full understanding that it is my last stop for my international flight to the USA, the staff refused to make car reservation without my credit card number. For security reasons, I refused to give my credit card number to anyone claiming to work for the hotel and that any fee will be paid upon check-out. Every 5 star hotel in Vietnam was willing to do this for me except the Hilton. After much pushback, they finally agreed. If I had more time to spend in Hanoi and not risking losing my prepaid reservation, I would have gone to another hotel just to be less annoyed by this less than 5 Star hotel treatment. Once there the hotel is very nice.

Very very good hotel, near the old quarter. Close enough to walk to the old quarter and back (or take a taxi). My wife and I were on a cruise out of Haiphong (port near Hanoi) - the cruise used this hotel as the meet point, so it was very convienient.

the old quarter is a triangle. the hilton is at the relatively quiet and upscale corner. it is a 20-30 minute walk to the heart of the quarter and 45 minutes to the hcm museum. hotel is friendly and accomodating. food and ammenities are way over-priced.

We stayed at the Hilton Opera in Hanoi for three non-consecutive nights. We had a very good experience, the service was friendly and prompt, and the room was clean and comfortable. The gym was nice, with lots of machines to choose from. The location was good, just a short walk to the crazy part of the Old Quarter. Nice view of the Opera House, and we even work up to Opera music one morning - delightful! I especially enjoyed the pain chocolate at the bakery in the morning - yummy! My only suggestion is that the rooms are tired looking, the decor is dated.

This Hilton looks very grand on the outside but is a little old interior-wise as compared to many HIlton(s) around the world. However their standards and service are way up there. It was under a little renovation on the Executive Floor when we checked in but they went out their way to make sure we are all comfortable. The staff was helpful especially in trying to find us places to eat and we had to look for a pharmacy so they directed to us quite a few. For two days we transferred in Hanoi, we are pretty satisfied staying here.

I stayed in the hotel for three knights. Everything was perfect, the hotel has a nice style, the staff is really friendly and the hotel rooms are very quiet. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of international and local food. I really recommend the hotel to everybody planning a trip to Hanoi.

What you would expect from a Hilton. Comfortable stay.

Fabulous accomodation and very polite staff who were eager to please, Only fault the pool temperature was too hot on some days, not at all refreshing. Did not eat at the hotel for dinner, cheaper to eat out

We spent three nights over Christmas at the Hilton hotel in Hanoi and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room had a view over the Opera House next door. The area was lovely to walk around (once you've dodged the bikes and cars!) - a couple of nice cafe's, bars and restaurants in the immediate local area. Would recommend this hotel if you're considering the alternative in the same neighbourhood but can't quite jusitfy the price tag!

Was completely satisfied with my stay, had a fantastic view of the Opera, was walking distance to the park. The fruit plate upon arrival was a nice touch.

The Hilton Hanoi is a classic hotel. Built to mirror the Hanoi Opera House, the architecture is spectacular, and the staff is excellent. Be sure to get your breakfast buffet included with your room...you won't want to miss this spread. You'll want to spend most of your time seeing Hanoi...but when you return to the Hilton, it is an oasis. My only minor criticism is that the rooms decor is a bit dated.

I travel all around the world and whenever I go to Hanoi, Vietnam I enjoy staying at the Hilton Hanoi (history...) executive floors. Low profile hotel (not playing the fancy/grandiose side - although some times I like it), perfect rooms, great service, perfect price, simple, effective, ultra clean, professional, smiling, pleasant, quiet and enjoyable. A great cheap place I highly recommend. Bruno

Great location, the hotel is extremely clean and rooms are in perfect conditions. Very friendly and helpful employees. I stayed at the Hilton Hanoi Opera few years ago. The service was perfect. Came back 4 years later and the hotel did not take a wrinkle: same quality of service and great rooms.

Jag kan varmt rekommendera Hilton Hanoi Opera. Läget är perfekt med en kort promenad till de gamla kvarteren, samtidigt som hotellet ligger i vad som verkar vara ett av de bättre områdena i stan. Servicen på hotellet var utmärkt och det var en positiv miljö/atmosfär. Rummet är som förväntat av ett hotell i den prisklassen, rent och prydligt och har det man behöver. Skulle absolut boka detta hotell igen om jag åker till Hanoi. Ska tillägga att jag var där på en jobbresa. Kanske har man andra prioriteringar om man är i Hanoi som turist, men för mig passade det perfekt och hotellet var mycket bra.

さすが世界のチェーンホテルです。 私のホテルをみる一つの基準である朝食は、品数も多く大変おいしく頂きました。 お部屋の広さベッドの快適さ、ベッドリネンの質、ピロの数など申し分なかったです。 ただテレビのNHKの画像がモノクロで極端に悪くほとんど音声しか聞き取れなかったや、靴べらが部屋になったことなど改善していただきたいと思いました。

場所が街中で歩いていけるところが多い。朝のビュッフェが種類が多くて質も良い。部屋は古いが清掃はされている。ホテル内のエステは料金と見合っていないし施設も良くない。タクシーも回り道やゆっくりと運転し、初乗りの値段が高いので総合的に高くなる

ロケーションが大変よいところで、旧市街まで歩いて行けます。町の喧騒がホテル内には感じられない設計になっています。 スタッフの皆さまが大変良い感じで、気持ちよく滞在できました。 朝食は種類も多いし、味がとても良かったです。 さすがは世界のヒルトンという感じです。さらに最後のチェックアウトの速さには驚きました。 数あるヒルトンの中でも、良いホテルだと思います。

Great rooms. Very dynamic and friendly staff. They always smile when I talk to them. Nice bathroom. Good food. Very practical emplacement (city central, in face of The Hanoi Opera). Relaxing music softly playing on the corridor. Free newspaper (English) on the morning. Well, totally recommended.

Le chambre impeccable, une vue superbe vers le Grand Théatre, petit déjeuner délicieux, service de transport à recommander. Rien à plaindre !

If you come to Hanoi just for relaxing then choose an executive suite. They pamper you in any way. The internet is free and fast. In the executive lounge you can relax with afternoon tea. Later they serve free drinks and delicious snack. I never managed to go out for dinner as both the food and drinks were plentiful. I can only recommend the executive suites at Hilton, Hanoi.
