I had a baby with me and they provided a beautiful cot with a dressing gown, mini shampoo and body wash. They also gave my baby and 4yr old a teddy bear each! I left my purse by accident and they found it and kept it for me with everything in it. Wonderful service! Great movies for the children as well.

Excellent hotel and perfect location. Walking distance across the train bridge to the downtown area without staying in the hustle and bustle of too many people. Easy walk to the main train station and the Cathedral. The rooms were more American than standard European with much more space than normally found. The breakfast was excellent and we even had Sting come in for breakfast one day after he had played a show the night before.

Only complaint was that thick "duvet" was on bed and a/c didn't work because it was winter so was hot every night. Otherwise great hotel and everyone spoke fluent English.

nice hotel, great service, great location, great view and great restaurant but deceiving spa facilities - no cosy ambiance (lighting far too aggressive, cold) around the pool ...disappointing for a 5 star hotel. But overall we had a really nice time.

I loved the locatuion! the view from the restaurant is the best view in Cologne for me..!! the breakfast is great too! My room was huge also the bathroom! for sure will come back! staff was very friendly too!

My stay was fabulous & the staff was incredibly helpful & knowledgeable in regards to surrounding area. All their recommendations I found outstanding & easy to find (restaurants, grocery store, etc) The only thing I would caution travelers & make aware of would be the internet WiFi access. While it is available at hotel you are only granted 30 minutes per day free of charge (which is not much at all to do anything). You have to stay logged in for full 30 minutes or lose it (was not explained to me). Also if you purchase an additional hour, you can log out & return intermittently (also not explained to me). By the time I discovered this I purchased 4 hours to complete my meager messaging that I could not do in the 30 minutes. If I had known all that, I would've purchased the 24 hour access & logged on & off as needed, instead of purchasing by the hour. For travelers updating loved ones by WiFi be aware that access points are few & far in-between. If you are lucky enough to find hot spots for WiFi access, you can get "free" access but in order to access internet your credit card is needed. Needless to say I only used the internet at hotel ... But it is inconvenient to be constantly running back to hotel to post messages. I wish someone would've forewarned me of these troubles. Hotel staff was gracious & returned my internet fees due to lack of explanations and troubles I was having with it. Maintaining constant WiFi connection was difficult & I was logged off server more than once. Overall my stay at Hyatt was splendid & I would very much love to stay there again in the future.

I had stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions, so the high quality of the hotel and staff was well known to me. I wanted to find a decent hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary, so when I missed the low prices on hotel.com for the Marriott, staying at the Hyatt was a no brainer - my spouse loved it. The one drawback is that it is on the right bank and we had to cross the Hohenzollernbruck bridge to get to the other side in raw December winds (yes we were there during the "Verkehrschaos" of mid-December 2010!). However, this is a safe bet for a wonderful stay in Cologne. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Large, impressive, business hotel on banks of Rhine ,across the river from the main city. Rail/footbridge just outside the hotel to get to city centre. We were staying Friday night on way home from holiday in Switzerland on our way to Calais. We got a very good room rate and enjoyed the luxury of staying in such a hotel.

This was the first stop on our driving to Italy trip and I booked before we left online. The hotel was easy to find once we left the city as it is near the Mercedes museum. On arriving at the hotel my husband parked the car and I checked in, the good thing was that although we were asked if we wanted our cases taking to our room we were not pressurised once we said no. The room was clean and spacious and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room which a lot of the European hotels do not include. The staff mostly foreign were friendly and very helpful in giving us directions into getting back into town using the train.

irritationsmomenter var at udleverede key-cards, ikke fungerede ordentlig, hverken til elevator ellers væreselsdøren, på trods af ombytning. Ligeledes problemer med fjernbetjening af TV, som krævede tilkaldelse af housekeeping.

Meget tilfreds med opholdet. Tæt på Köln Mess-Deutz togstation (flyrejsen gik via Dusseldorf). Nabo til EASA hvor jeg var til møde over to dage. Kun 5-7 minutters gang over broen til Köln Dom/city centre. Hotellets faciliteter var meget gode. Glade for fitness centre.

Morgenmad for dyr og bygninger ret grimme, men perfekt placeret i forhold til Conference og perfekt service

Muy Buen Hotel nos gusto muchisimo todo.

avantage de cet hotel c'est qu'il est a 2mn a pied du centre ville ,si vous prenez la vue sur le Rhin et la cathédral c'est magnifique . cet hotel dispose de chambres spacieuses et bien insonorisées ,modernisée

Good service, superb breakfast and good facilities in the middle of Cologne.

The hotel is located by Rhinen. With a view from the rooms on that side you get to see the magnificent DOME. It's a little bit noisy (nothing to much) with the train-station close by that's filled with traffic day and night. Close your windows and you won't hear them at all. Some rooms don't have windows to open at all. The rooms are big and clean, and very welcoming. At least on the side with Rhinen view. Staff are very nice, international and easy to get in touch with. I didn't have any food on the hotel, but there's many local restaurants (cheap) on the other side of the bridge. Even breakfast is served. Shopping possibilities close by... one way or the other. Security on the hotel is also good. The elevators can't be used by people that's not guests at the hotel (we need our room-cards to get up to get them started). Only one bar that's available for all guests and it's small. The other bar (on top floor) is only for guest that has the expensive rooms and suites. Club members. I'm very happy for picking this hotel to stay at. They also store your luggage when you're checking out, if needed. In the lobby there's 24 hour free internet access on two computers. If you want internet in your room, you need the staff's help to get it to work, but they do it in a heartbeat. There's a small gym to use for the guests down by the lobby. There's the pool too so you can go for a swim. All in all, I am very happy with the hotel, staff, location and maintenance. The hotel itself is clean everywhere and so are the rooms. It's an hotel I will recommend for most people.

Lage super,Service sehr gut,Frühstück Klasse und Reichhaltig-im Restaurant leider wenig auswahl,könnte verbessert werden aber sieht wohl jeder anders. eins gefiel uns nicht so gut,wenn man Sauniert muss der Ruheraum mit dem Schwimmbad geteilt werden,klarer Minuspunkt weil wenn Kinder im Pool sind fehlt es an Ruhe. Im ganzen ein schönes Hotel,zu empfehlen.

Het is een prima hotel alleen vind ik het bedag wat je moet betalen voor een ontbijt veel te hoog. Wij zijn ergens anders gaan ontbijten

Immer wieder gerne das Hyatt Regency in Köln! Einzige Kleinigkeit, die negativ auffiel: Die Dusche scheint auf den Sparmodus eingestellt und es kam nicht sonderlich viel Wasser heraus. Alle Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmerservice dauert nur wenige Minuten und Extrawünsche sind überhaupt kein Problem (wie es sich für 5 Sterne gehört).

Knall service, ekstremt bra frokost, fine rom.

This hotel is the best a visitor to Koln can wish. The people are kind, the service is excellent. The breakfeast was superb. The rooms are luxureous. The distance to the center is as long as the rail road bridge, so some hundred meters. The only negative remark is the omission of the breakfeast price on the website (I could not find it).
