This was a wonderful weekend experience for my wife and I. We were attending a concert at the Pavilion that night and staying at this beautiful resort was just the icing on the cake. Easy location to get to and wonderful door to door service to the venue was available making our evening even easier. Room was very nice and loved the little balcony that overlooked a scenic little lake area with geese. Was nice to wake up and make a couple of cups of coffee and then sit outside and enjoy the morning and scenery. Would highly recommend and will do so again. Very relaxing weekend indeed.

We live n hour south of The Woodlands so we try to get a room when we go up to see a show. We usually stay at the Marriott but, after trying out this place, we won't be staying at the Marriott again. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pools are great and there are plenty of chaises, and hey have a $10 shuttle to the Pavillion. Perfect!!!

The place is isolated from other attractions near the woodlands, it makes you feel so relaxed, lots of woods n trails to have a romantic walk during the day or in the afternoon. I just wish they would renovate the inside of the rooms

Upon arriving to the resort very tired, we were disappointed to be showed to a room that did not match the description we actually booked! The room we booked advertised that it came with a balcony or patio and had neither... We were moved to a room that matched what we actually booked, but the desk clerk wasn't very cooperative at first! Two of the bellhops were awesome in assisting us with our luggage, while one sat on the cart while we loaded and unloaded our luggage ourselves offering no assistance whatsoever! We were also charged for valet which we did not use for a vehicle description that did not even match what we were driving. Room service food is way over priced for the quality of food served! While this is a beautiful place, it could use these minor improvements!

I really enjoyed the stay I am looking forward to visiting the resort again.

Excellent service. They shuttled me to the conference. Room was great. Breakfast even better.

The pictures shown in ad were not of this hotel. Room was old and run down. Dirty couch, floor and old sheets. It gave me the creeps.

I requested king size through hotels.com, got two doubles instead. Besides that the entire facility was beautiful, the Oasis pool was the best!

Not sure what makes this a "resort". I've stayed in nicer 3 star hotels. They need to upgrade badly and when if coats $200 a night I have no idea why they don't. It was quiet but that's about it. The beds are not comfortable at all. Space tour money and stay at any random mediocre hotel chain.

We stayed in a Double Double Room in the Guest House, and the room wasn't the best of all time, but the beds were incredibly comfortable and nice, the service at the front desk and with the bell staff was incredible, and the overall setting of the hotel was second to none.

Loved the outdoor camp feeling the hotlel gave you as a guest. Loved the location. Beautiful pond in the back. Great stay!

The bathroom door would not close, the hot water surged and almost scalded us, the prices were way too high for what you get, there were no sheers on the drapes and you had to totally black out your room and not be able to enjoy the view because people could see straight into your room from the restaurant, but MOSTLY the fact that they let a large wedding party move outside at 12:30 and stay there until 2 am was ridiculous. I've never heard of such. I complained at 1:15 and it still took until 2 am to clear them out. This was to be a very peaceful nights rest for us and that's why we paid extra for the atmosphere. We could not enjoy the view and we could not sleep. Fail on all accounts and we will not be back! I'd really like a refund too because we couldn't even sleep.

I booked the forest suite for my birthday, my room was located on the first floor. This hotel was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. They had really good service, from valet to room service, wow awesome. The only improvements I think would be a must is a heated pool. Their pool was gorgeous just like online, very romantic, but we couldn't get in at night because it was very cold. Also if you book a forest suite ask for a higher level because the first floor doesn't have a great view. Overall I enjoyed my stay, loved the robes, the spa is a plus. Great romantic getaway

I stayed here on a holiday weekend when it was quiet, had a kind of king-suite room and was very comfortable. No fridge in room but one was brought when I asked. All employees were extremely nice and helpful. room service very fast and food hot. Excellent water pressure for shower. Lovely grounds. All in all, very pleasant stay at a good price through this website.

You can tell this place is pretty old...it's nice but could use some updating. Awesome pools and hot tubs. We enjoyed our stay and will return possibly someday.

Very nice.

I was very excited to surprise my husband for our anniversary with a stay in a "resort" hotel in the Woodlands and couldn't wait to get there. The website depicted a beautiful room with plush ammenities. To my dismay, I was shocked to be given directions to a co-located apartment-looking facility down the street from the main building. There was no mention of this being a detached "resort" hotel. I expected to have the convenience of going downstairs for dining or drinks. We get to our room to see two double beds. I reserved a King room. They said I requested a double room, but after letting them know that we were there to celebrate our anniversary they gave us a King suite; a two story bedroom loft with a very narrow, steep metal spiral staircase. Scary. There was nothing plush about anything in the room except the towels. The rooms were old, there was no sink (except in the bathrooms) or microwave; bathrooms were musty, and overall it was very outdated and disappointing. We had huge water bugs that would come and rest inside the toilet. On the good side, the bed was comfortable and the grounds were very nice with lots of pretty landscaping. We attended a concert at the Pavillion and the location was very convenient to that venue. They also have a great Sunday brunch. I don't think I'd pay to come back, but if I were close by I would definitely do brunch again.

While the furnishings & interior are dated, they are comfortable while the setting in the woods is a great break from endless suite hotels set in a sea of concrete. You stay here for a softer pace in a great spacious site.

I loved it. Our kids could swim and enjoy themselves and my husband and I could relax. It was wonderful. Bell good and staff were extremely friendly.

Outstanding place to spend your vacation. Hospitality was on 10 from the time we pulled in to check-in!! Staff was very friendly and very eager to serve. Room was great, everything was in great condition. Pool area is definitely a standout. Nothing to complain about at all. Very relaxing atmosphere!! Just great!!!

Its a good area, but the rooms, especially the carpet look dirty, I had my 1 yr old with me, so I was scared if she picked anything off the floor, the bedding also looked a little too old, and won out, also I can add we request a fridge and microwave to warm up our little kid's food, the guy just place them anywhere there was a plug in, so made the room look tacky. but overal, decent place, will recommend to family and friends

A Hidden Jewel! My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Very Comfortable, the Staff was great, very helpful in all respects. The Resort is well equiped for anything you might enjoy doing. Next time we would love to take advantage of the Spa and all that it offers, But we just couldn't get out from under the covers... Maybe Next Time!

Close to restaurants and shopping but away from noise and congestion. Very quiet and comfortable.

We chose the hotel for it's gorgeous pool and idyllic setting. The lobby is quite stunning - very "high end hotel" feeling. Clearly, this would be a PERFECT place for a convention. Many, many wonderful amenities and right next to town square, The Woodlands Mall, I-45 (but not so close you can hear traffic), a golf course. I highly recommend. There are no kitchenette rooms available so it's not the most convenient for a long-term stay, but I don't think that's who they are marketing to anyway. Gorgeous place. Great service.

Really enjoyed my recent stay. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean and roomy, service was fine, and the pool area was great.

It was very relaxing. Everything was convenient and everyone was so very helpful from the valet to the front desk.

We stayed in the rooms on the outside of the pool side area. The employess are very rued and were not very helpful. I found old milk and old takeout upon arriving in our room. THe food was good but very expensive. The pools were clean...and the kids really enjoyed them. They had to close the pool 3 hours early one night because of rain in the area. It never rained and didnt even see a cloud in the sky. That made guests very angry... Iwould bring your own food and drinks...otherwise it can get very expensive.

Very responsive, Country Club feel, I liked it and would stay again and again.

Was checked into first room that was not ready, went back to front desk and was reassigned another room.Upon attempted entry to second room, maintenance personnel stopped me to inform that water was being turned off for 2 hours. Was finally checked in to 3rd and final room. Lot of wasted time that was needed on my behalf to get ready for my personal event planned for the evening.

Been to the Marriott. This is a much nice place to stay? It is secluded and tranquil.

Enjoyed the pool and the quiet atmosphere. Price was decent. Service was good except room service. Room service was nice but they forgot one breakfast, then brought it and still forgot coffee and then forgot the bacon. It took three trips and 30 minutes from delivery start to finish for us to get our two kids meals and one regular breakfast. Regarding the front desk, they let us have a generous late check out but we wish they would have told us originally that the pool slide closes before the pool closes and so does the poolside bar and cafe. Hotel bed was great but the rest of the room was quite dated and not in good repair.

Location was fantasic...close to mall, restaurants,activties and night life. The rooms were nice & cozy.
