This motel is the height of "plain vanilla"! It's inexpensive and serves its purpose - a comfortable spot to sleep while on the road. This wouldn't be your vacation-of-a-lifetime destination but the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is convenient, and the price is right. Don't expect much for breakfast! (there are no bedbugs! :)).

I was looking for a REDROOF INN, that was the hotel I made my reservation with but it wasn't there. The hotel changed management and was no longer RedRoof Inn it had changed into an Econol Lodge. Thank goodness for street view on GPS or I would have never found the hotel.

The name of the hotel had changed. The outside looked in need of cleaning. The room was ok though.

The room was fine except for the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable that I had the sleep in the chair.

the room was clean, bed was comfortable, tons of channels on the tv, wii fi worked great, great location, and most of all, the people who work there were always nice and helpful, went above and beyond what i expected.

It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. On the downside, you have to go outside to reach the exercise room or the breakfast room. Breakfast consists of prepackaged pastry, juice and coffee. On the upside, there is a shopping mall very near.

Down side: breakfast. Terrible! just coffee and some sorry muffins. Tiniest I have ever seen, and the bananas and apples look depressing. Get your own breakfast at the mall which is across the street.

We requested a queen room on the first floor, was told rather nastily by the clerk (who is the ONLY employee that we encountered) that there are no singles on the first floor (with no further inquiry, if we would like 2 beds, etc.), so we were given a room on the 3rd floor and a FULL SIZED bed (naturally). Elevator and hallways smelled moldy or like "wet" animals. Room is bare minimum, nothing extra, nothing special. You had to press and hold the ON button for the hair dryer........there were no extra blankets or pillows in the room and one towel, one hand towel and one washcloth per person was provided.....my husband and I were NOT impressed AT ALL by this hotel and will stay somewhere else for our future visits and tell anyone who asks for a recommendation to NOT STAY at the Red Roof Inn for any reason. Additionally, the "continental" breakfast is a joke.....we ate elsewhere.

1. Motel and rooms not clean 2. Bed and pillows not clean 3.Complimentary breakfast....NOT, the best thing there were plastic wrapped muffins and coffee. We took a few muffins each and a cup of coffee and hit the road. The price was too high for what you get.

Good location. Hallway rugs need replaced. Good restaurants nearby. Good for price.

The Red Roof Inn was a bit of a disappointment for me. There are better hotels in the Cumberland/Frostburg area for around the same price. I chose this one because my other choices weren't available. The room was decent, but very small. One of the beds wasn't properly made, and that worried us until we checked and saw that the sheets were clean. There was some damage to the walls that was patched with spackle but not painted. At least we had a fridge and a microwave, and an ice machine down the hall. Breakfast provided consists of juice, coffee, bananas, and small muffins. This wasn't enough for my family, so we went to the Denny's down the street (awesome breakfast there with very friendly staff, btw). Still, this is one of the cheaper hotels in the area. If better hotels in the same price range aren't available and are forced to stay here, you'll survive.

stayed for 3 days. The room was clean and acceptable, it was not a luxury room, but for the cost very good value. The continental breakfast was lacking in comparison with other motels i have stayed at. Only offered some fruit and one kind of pastry with coffee and juice.

We don't stay at expensive motels, this was better than many we have used.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hallway had smell of mold possibly due to humidity or nearby washer.

The room was adequate. The smell of smoke lingered in the air.

east freeway access - clean and comfortable, good value

For the price this is an ok place to stay. Some updates, although none of the upper floor vending machines worked. and the best of all was the updated workout room. Cont breakfast was mini muffins, apples and browned bananas, coffee and juice. Personel were very nice and friendly though.

Hotel has the bare minimum of everything,nothing sets it apart from any other hotel.Beds were very comfortable.Breakfast became redundant after 3 days,need to switch it up a little.Halls very quiet during my week long stay which was great,plenty of parking available.2 of the 3 vending machines available were broken,3rd everything inside was melted.If you're just looking for a place to crash for awhile,it'll suit your needs,looking for ambiance,search elsewhere.

THE CARPET WAS EXTREAMLY DIRTY.THERE WERE STREAKS WHERE A VACUME CLEANER HAD BEEN PUSHED AROUND THE EDGES OF THE FURNITURE AND CENTER OF THE ROOM BUT NOT UNDER THE TABLES IN RM #210.NOT A VERY GOOD CLEANING JOB BY HOUSEKEEPING

Not sure how they can get away with saying they have breakfast, saw about 6 pre packaged mini muffins, a banana and 3 apples when I went to go eat. It is a cheap place to stay, but at the same time I guess you get what you pay for

We stayed at this hotel for a night on a road trip. It was adequate for the price. The continental breakfast was not very impressive - packaged muffins and coffee. The hotel was quite run-down, but the room was clean.

The first thing I noticed about the Red Roof in getting into the room was the smell of the carpet. The room was clean, but the scent was strong. Having stayed at the Fairfield four miles away before I compared it immediately. I expect fresh carpet and a working air conditioner. The air conditioner sometime worked but when we returned in the heat of the day it took a while to come on. The counter people were courteous and kind and accommodate late-arriving travelers. The television channels worked but were disturbed every time a truck went by. If you need a convenient room it is there, but know what you are getting.

The Red Roof Inn in Lavale Cumberland was a pretty decent hotel but, the clerk's attitude could have been better. I was very displease with her mannerism and respect for my family. The comments she made during our presence was uncalled for. She made us feel as though we were nothing/nobody.

The building does not show well at all from the outside; I couldn't run the fan in the bathroom because the bearings were shot in the fan motor. Also, while most places offer a free breakfast this place gave you coffee and a mini muffin. I will say the exercise facility was rather well-equipped.

very close to a mall and good resturants. easy to find, great view of mountains. great for the price.

Granite counter top is ready to fall off the wall. Generally run down look to it..... well used. Bed wasn't comfortable... but I usually have that problem at most hotels. Additional pillows seemed to help.

Easy to get to - right off I68 Room was clean - everything worked Micro Wave In Room, Also Refegerator Continental Breakfast - just coffee & rolls but plenty of nearby eateries Check-in / out very easy Plenty of parking - well lit Alarm Clock in room / Color TV 40 channels

For a decent room at a good price, the Red Roof Inn Lavale Cumberland is a good choice. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is minimalist. You'll need to go elsewhere for a full breakfast meal, but if you're happy with a banana, muffin, and luke warm coffee then you're good to go. The room was clean and the front desk friendly. All in all, a good value.

I really like staying at this hotel. It was conveinient that they accept pets. It was pretty clean, but would have been better if the breakfast included more then muffins and honey buns.

The service and room were great for my short stay. I was expecting a continental breakfast as promised in the hotel description, and all that was available was one carafe of coffee (and I was hoping for some tea) and a broken juice machine.

spent one night at this RRI. I only need a clean room and hot shower. Everything was in order. Only warning is the breakfast, it consisted of a coffee machine and powdered creamer thats it. Plenty of local restaurants for breakfast. So in exchange for a reasonable rate and clean room I would definatley stay hear again.

Hotel was a bit older, but clean. Good for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't stay there for longer. The lobby and breakfast area smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The free breakfast was pretty lame: coffee, bananas, and wrapped muffins/pastries. We went to McDonalds. In a good neighborhood and close to the Interstate.

This hotel has one of the worst breakfasts ever...packaged cranberry/raisins, muffins in plastic, etc. not even a bagel or toast you could make. If you stay here, go out for breakfast. Hotel was run down, stains on the carpets and room smelled of smoke. Beds were comfortable enough and bathroom was ok.

I thought the hotel was ok. I was not impressed with the "contintial breakfast" It was pretty sad.

Don't expect a gourmet spread in the morning, but the coffee machine worked, and there were muffins & bananas. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the access from the Interstate was good, and there is an Applebee's across the street. Well worth the not-much-$$.

I was pleasantly suprised with this room.
