Only planned to stay overnight.

Good business hotel. Comfortable suite-type room. Several restaurants just across the parking lot. Free breakfast included. Room was clean, although it appears that the carpets are due for cleaning. Other than that, the hotel was pleasant and I would stay there again.

I had two nights booked as one night on two separate reservations. there was a mix up with the first night was cancelled.? Not by me, I needed a room for the night. They were sold out for the night, but the manager was able to upgrade me to a suite for the night. I really appreciated her doing that as I really didn't want to go elsewhere. I stay there once or twice every year, it's a great location for me and the staff are very good to me.

We always stay at The Phoenix Inn when we are in the area for a few days. The hotel is very clean and affordable. The location is also convenient - close to the feeeway and lots of places to eat and shop. I will always recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel was sufficient for our needs as we were gone most of the time. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids. Wish we could have ordered a movie, but this option not available. Breakfast was not good, but fine if you wanted cereal or a pastry. The staff was so unfriendly though. Very aloof, not welcoming and as we were leaving after check out one of the staff members gave me the dirtiest look in the parking lot! If looks could kill! Wish the stay and vacation in the beautiful nw didn't end with such an ugly look. Room could have certainly been cleaner as well.

Carpet was filthy but they were changing out carpet in several rooms while we were there so hopefully that problem was fixed. Staff was not very pleasant. Room was VERY large though and that was a nice feature.

It was a very nice hotel, pool/hot tub was great. They were redoing some carpet so I know it's going to get even better. Good price for what I got, a king suite with plenty of room, great bed, nice breakfast, and just an overall great stay! One of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while.

The breakfast was awesome! Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints a perfect stay!

this hotel, charges you, you might want to ask what's local and what's not, otherwise, at checkout, you will have to pay hidden fee's. I find that making a call, thought was locally, charged $10.00 fee @ hotel checkout. We find the charge un necessary. some front desk ppl are rude. If you are looking for recreation, don't bother asking, they will blow you off. Garbage over flows in there garbage cans. you wake up with other ppls garbage outside your door. We complained, all they can say is, we are sorry that happened to you. spilled coffee, left for there guests to pick up. Our in room refrigerator hasn't worked since we got here. their swimming pool if full of human lost hair. Can't swim without a hair clinking to you somehow, we asked for room service to change our bedding, later that evening to crawl into bed, it still had the same set of bed sheets, no bathroom ventilation, your bathroom can sure use windows with your fan, t.v. service sucks, hardly any good reception, floors and carpets were dirty, but yet they want to pick about a phone call from our room? hello? whats wrong with this picture? You classify this hotel 3/4 stars? hmmm ok. I guess if your a rude person, lazy and a slob, you will fit into this hotel! Don't let the pictures of this hotel fool you! One good thing, finally, the beds in our room, were very comfortable! kings buffet is the worse Chinese buffet we have ever ate at, but sweet tomatoes restaurant was fabulous across the street.

The hotel location, services, amenities, and cleanliness were outstanding. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

everything was just super. The front desk people were so amazingly friendly, The breakfast hit the spot. My son loaded up on biscuits and gravy, while I settled for an omelet. The only negative I have is the carpet in the room needed a good shampooing, otherwise it was just wonderful. we will be back!

The hotel is 7 minutes away from PDX. The hotel staff was very friendly when I checked in late at night. I was offered to pick which floor I wanted to stay, I picked ground level with a room closest from the side entrance for the ease to transport all our luggage into the room. Parking was free and there are a few restaurants and fast foods within driving distance. I would definitely recommend this Inn to everybody for the price.

when trying to check in the person was on the phone trying to set up an interview. Poor service.

Service is good. Facility need to be improved

It was a very nice & clean. I was surprise that this Suites only gets a 2 and 1/2 stars, but it felt like a 4 stars service. I will recommend friends to stay here.

Phoenix Inn Suites Vancouver service was quick and efficient but the carpet in the room was stained and badly needed cleaning. Also the pool was closed. Otherwise completely mundane experience which can be good but certainly not memorable.

The room was larger than expected. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had quite a variety to choose from and plentiful. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I booked a regular room at a great price. upon my arrival I noticed the TV didnt work. I went to the front desk to inform them and was upgraded to the governor suite at no extra charge. The front desk person was very kind and made sure I had my favorite tea. I found the breakfast the next morning more than satisfying. Would definately stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel because we got a good deal through hotels.com. It was a very pleasant stay. Very clean, great customer service, and the room was really nice and comfortable. We used the pool and jacuzzi and it was also really nice and clean. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely stay there again

Have stayed here on a few occasions previously. This time the hotel was completely booked for the Easter long weekend. Had a late check-in and therefore was given a room on the ground floor. Not expecting it to be very good (low expectations) but actually was decent enough. Didn't hear a lot of noise from hallways or above which was a real plus. The breakfast here is always decent compared to many others in the surrounding area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

It was a very pleasant surprise to see such a nice hotel for an amazing price!!! My husband, my toddler and I really enjoyed the stay. It was close to the highway if you want to get to Portland. The continental breakfast they served was different everyday and never disappointing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We're always going to stay there when we wanna go to Portland. I'd recommend this Phoenix Inn Suites to all my friends.

Staff were friendly, helpful, we were able to check in early. The fitness center had new top of the line tread mill and eliptical machine. The hot tub was perfect temp and a nice end to a long day. Breakfast was great and free! Close to PDX and nearby great resturaunts. I would stay again, no complaints.

When we arrived the clerk said they had overbooked the king rooms and she would move us up to a suite. A very nice surprize for my birthday! The suite was so special. The breakfast in the morning is so much good food and love the waffles. Thank you for making my birthday weekend the best ever.

Good breakfast selections, indoor pool is nice, friendly staffs, quiet rooms, close to highway, only problem is the toilet can get plugged up easily.

This is an above average 3 star with a nice breakfast (the battle for the lone waffle maker), easy access to everywhere, excellent rooms and a decent type of people who stay here. Front desk staff is great and pool/hot tub nice.

Our only dissatisfaction is the breakfast is just ok. it is free so feel we certainly shouldn't complain, but the hot food is not very good.

Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The staff was courteous and efficient on check in. The room was clean and looked to have been recently updated. The location is the Redding old town area in walking distance to the legendary Jack's Grill, a must do for dinner while in Redding.

GREAT HOTEL ,CLEAN,AWESOME STAFF,AND SMOKE FREE I LOVE IT .

Always clean and comfortable, quiet.

Great staff and very comfy beds... Kids loved the pool.

We arrived at the hotel very late. The lady at the reception was very pleasant and we were checked in quickly. Nice spacious room but details to things was missing. Sheets had small blood stains. Hot water was not running in the sinks and when called no one showed up till reminded and after sometime. Coming back from a long drive we found things a little unwelcoming. Breakfast was great and well stocked.

For the money I paid I felt it was not a bad value. These are my only criticisms: The fitness room was pitiful. There was 1 exercise bike, a set of dumbells and a weight bench, that's it. The spa/jacuzzi was out of service which was disappointing. The bed was softer than I prefer but not terrible. Other than that it was just fine, including the continental breakfast.

we were assigned room 111 which had a very dirty spot in the carpet, and the carpet was very worn and dirty in appearance, so we discussed this with the desk, and at first they said that these rooms had not had new carpeting yet, and they did not offer a remedy; but after the toilet stopped up, we were moved to room 309 which was completely refurnished and satisfactory. the rooms need to be updated immediately, if this is not to be seen as a second class hotel... immediately.....................jm

My husband and I have stayed twice at the Phoenix Inn because it is close to our son's home. We have decided to stay elsewhere on the next visit. Our concerns: Very poor water pressure in the shower; the continental breakfast was inconsistent. Choices were limited in yogurt and fresh fruit. Eggs: One glance into the prep area- a giant bag of frozen omelets was out on the counter and seeing that did not make us want to have any more; Our six year old grandson came to our room and said: 'Grandma, I hate to tell you this but your room looks really old!" He was right. The outside of the hotel looks better than the inside; Spa was filled with scuzzy water and was unusable. The pool water was freezing.

Very enjoyable and friendly. I wish i'll stay longer to visit Vancouver.

Wondered if the fact that we had a discounted rate factored into the location of the room-- next to the elevator. One sink didn't work, the heat/cool fan was hinky, the phone had to be adjusted so it would work... just a bunch of little things. Not impressed, tho we regularly stay at Phoenix Inns other locations.

When I book a hotel, I look for pool and spa, gym, and free breakfast. My kids and I look forward to the pool and spa at the end of the long day. The pool heater was broken making it freezing cold, and the spa was shut down due to a broken filter. I would not have booked the hotel if I had known this. No one working there seemed to care or even offer an apology. On a positive note, the breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. There was only one person working it, and it was a very busy President's day. She did an amazing job.
