Breakfast was fair. Room had poor lighting and slightly dingy. Bed was clean and comfortable. I travel to work on machinery so my hands tend get be pretty dirty...the hotel's bathroom soap worked very well...this is rare in my case. The temperature of the water coming out of the shower would change a lot. The TV remote did not work. The laundry facility was out of order which was a major problem in my case. Being a budget minded person, had the laundry facility been in working order I would have rebooked for another week.

Nice staff and ok beds. Other than that, everything was low quality. Big bug in the room, keycard reader on door had to be replaced, room wasn't ready on time, shower temp oscillated from scalding to freezing on whim, breakfast was just bread w a few muffins.

Convenient location to stay the night before driving to Sequoia National Park. Good value for money. Breakfast included but pretty basic: toast, muffins, boiled eggs and Juice. Pool looked well-kept. Didn't try it though.

Adequate. About motel 6 quality. Needs renovation and new furniture. Room was small but functional and clean. Staff was pleasant and efficient.

Usually stay there half-ways Tahoe to LA. Plan stay around hitting the Black Bear Diner every time, too.

It was low end hotel. Bed was concrete, only one light in the bathroom worked, the handicapped rails were even screwed in all the way, spackle on the walls, ripped carpet, no trash can anywhere in the room. Price was good but i would never stay there or any red roof inn again.

Overall, the stay was good and the location was perfect. However, when I requested a non-smoking room I expected a non-smoking especially if I'm going to pay the difference. When I immediately walk into the room it smell so bad of cigarette smoked. My sister has really bad allergies so I'M not trying to be difficult. I ask the lady to change us room to a non-smoking which she did but the room she change us to already had people staying in it . Every room was booked so I had to stay with my original room. Not once was I offer an apology or discount for the inconvenience especially since I paid the different in price for a room that I did not received.

I had 2 rooms, and they only gave us 2 towels each 1 handtowel, and 1 washcloth, we had room 305-306. 306 had issues with the lights flickering. Through out the night, there wasn't any wash clothes and not enough towels. The ice machines didnt work. There wasn't any creamer for the breakfast, not enough fruit. And truely if they are going to have a juice machine at least have it all-day long.

The room was very old and musty smelling. Ask for extra wash cloths, never got them No coffee pot or hair dryer. The "complete" breakfast was only sweet rolls, muffins, cold cereal (only 1 kind), juice and coffee. I would not stay there again, when there are so many other hotels to choose from. I stayed at the Charter Inn, just around the corner and it was fabulous.

Although my room was non-smoking, it smelled so bad, especially when I put the AC on (which was turned off when I got there). I went to office about that and I wasnt even offered to change the room. The pool looks DISGUSTING, beyond explanation. Never again!!!

Reserved a room thru Hotels. Com which was very convenient and got a great rate. Room was very clean when we arrived. They still have the traditional tv's, which is ok, but when we tried to hook up a dvd player, couldn't play. This was probably due to basic remotes which wouldn't allow us to change input mode. It was okay though, there were some movies on. Then when I was in shower relaxing and letting warm water hit my bad back, my husband used the restroom then flushed the toilet which turned the water scalding hot. That wasn't bad enough. When he went to wash his hands, that extended the hotter than hot shower. Thank goodness I had a little room to move out of the way. Then when I went to put on makeup, a lightbulb was out which made it very hard to see. BUT overall it was a nice stay.

Most important thing to me in a hotel room is cleanliness. My bed was not clean - found pieces of old french-fries on top of the blanket ! The sheets had hair on it and the looked worn down. Other than that, bathroom was clean. They also offer free breakfast. Hotel is located conveniently right by Hwy99.

We stayed here for a family vacation while in Tulare and do not recommend any stay here. I've stayed at almost every hotel in this part of Tulare and this was by far the worst. The hotel itself is very run down, including bed frames that do not fit so they stick out 6" past the mattress, holes in the walls from where pictures used to hang, and a tv that looks to be from the late 70s. The room had towel racks for multiple towels, but were not stocked so we had one wash cloth and one hand towel for the room. In two days, Tulare police were at the hotel three separate times for vehicles being vandalized in the parking lot. We thought it was strange that every 20 feet are signs saying the hotel is not responsible for vandalism to vehicles, but after staying here we realized they actually need these signs! The only bright spot was the hotel had a pretty nice pool. Unfortunately, the gate to the pool had a padlock on it so we guessed it was closed. Overall, I would not recommend anyone stay here. There are many other hotels in this area that are only a few dollars more and are much better.

The shower went from scolding hot to ice cold within seconds. The place isn't taken care of very well. Poor management. My friends room only had one light in it. They also didn't have a phone. Tipped the maid for extra towels when she cleaned our room and didn't follow through with it. Overall will never stay at this place again.

Very nice room- comfortable matress - firm pillow - quiet neighbors - has microwave and refrigerator - coffee table wobbles a litte and needs screws tightened - A/C works well on hot day - Low price too

It was ok, only some little details like: air conditioning & heater too dirty and noisy, bed and pillows worn and kind uncomfortable missing some electric outlet

The rooms were old, needed to be updated. Carpet was very dirty would not walk on without shoes. Homeless people walking around area. Observed people in rooms with people visiting for a short time and then leaving. Didn't feel real safe. Would not stay there agsin. You get what you pay for. The friendly employees were the only thing good about this hotel.

Huge stain on the curtain. It looked like blood (maybe it was?).

Come on really, two cold cereals to choose from and one pot of coffee for 200 rooms. But room was clean and comfortable.

Rooms were clean, but old needs to be updated. And set some rules on noise for guest.

I requested a non smoking room which I may have gotten but it smelled like it was at one time (recently) a smoking room. The shower had hairs on the wall which made me wonder how clean it was and there was only 1 wash towel which was either dirty or stained so I didn't use it. I was also surprised that there was no clock or coffee maker in the room.The continental breakfast was stale and the regular coffee was empty and I was sure that the receptionist saw me trying as I said I would take decaf but she just looked at me as she was on the phone. When I returned it was still empty and I told her so she told my brother to replace the already filled one that was on the side & instructed him how to set it up to pour! That was her job which should have been done once the other was empty.

The staff were extremely nice. There was limited parking. In a bad area. The shower would blast out cold water then flipped to scalding hot when I had it on warm. I heard knocking all day through the floor. I was in room 200 which sat over top of the lounge/front desk. Breakfast was pastries, milk, coffee, and orange juice not very healthy or protein based.

Overall Good . . only complaint was overhead guest pacing heavily for hours on end . . called front desk finally but not sure they did anything.

It was nice accommodations and a nice area.

Well, they were nice enough to ask me if I wanted a smoke free room, which was terrific, but apparently when booking through Hotel's.com, you can only put in the one code. So they lost the reservation (and after a 1/2 hour wait, they asked me for a credit card again.) I called my boss who did remind me it was there mistake, and when I mentioned that to the Assistant Manger, she got really huffy, and said "I'm trying to help you, and now I'm the bad guy." Very unprofessional. Acted really sassy in front of other customers. Next morning I saw her and there was no apology forthcoming.

over all very clean, only problem was water temperature was unstable when taking a shower. It would drastically change from warm to very hot to suddenly very cold. Thats the only part I was not satisfied with.

Quite Nice. Working in construction in Tulare. Will stay here again if I work again in the area.

Just stayed one night. Chose it for the price/value. Was fine. Nothing fancy, nothing bad. I've paid more for less. No memorable problems. Just be advised that this whole area smells from the cow farms in the surrounding areas. It was ok in the room, though. I'd recommend it if you need a decent night's sleep in the Visalia or Fresno areas. I stay at LOTS of budget-minded motels. This one was fine, really. As long as you are aiming for this caliber of accommodations, you won't be disappointed.

when I got there the parking lot was filled with large trucks taking up to 10 spaces at a time so I couldn't park my truck there. then when I got into the room we found empty beer cans on the floor. VERY unacceptable. I will never stay there again and advise you go to the best western or another hotel near by with better parking and cleaner facilities.

Went to Tulare for weekend trip, hotel right off freeway, walking distance to food. Room was clean, place was quiet, nothing to complain about. And the beds were comfortable. So for price,location,comfort. I would recommend

when I took a shower the water was flowing from too cold to too hot. is was terrible. everything else was fine.
