The Belvedere Hotel - نيويورك

Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.

Our room at the Belvedere was one of the nicest we have had during any visit to NYC, and was an especially good NYC deal for the price. Minor annoyances during our stay included long (really long) waits for the elevators at all hours of the day/night and the fact that the air conditioning unit is located BEHIND the curtains. So you must choose between feeling the cool air and having a ton of light enter the room OR having the room be warmer than you want with the curtains drawn for darkness. Otherwise, nice location, convenient to lots of midtown's attractions, and a well-managed property.

I was in New York to make a theatrical performance. I had to be at the venue by 5:15, but check-in wasn't until 4:00. At 3:00 I showed up to the Belvedere and explained my situation (tired! rushed! performing!) and when the Standard room I reserved wasn't yet ready, they upgraded me to an Executive room that I was able to get right away. That extra bit of rest made all the difference to me and I was really impressed that they would do that!

All the staff was more than willing to help with everything we did, from a personal driver to trying to help find our lost phone. They even went as far as to call us AFTER we checked out to let us know they re checked the room again for us. I just felt like they went above and beyond and I wanted them to be noticed.

I wish I could give a 6 for the fabulous location! Everything we needed was within six (short) blocks. We will definitely return!

Our room was very comfortable with a great view of the Hudson River. The staff was quite helpful and we could walk to our restaurant and theater easily.

Check in staff was absolutely rude and the room was noisy. Checkout was much friendlier. I heard conversations through the walls in the next room until late into the night. The lobby was great but the hallways, at least on my floor need to be upgraded. I was very disappointed in the hotel considering the price.

The hotel was very clean and conveniently located. However, the people staying in the rooms next to mine were very loud and disruptive. I did not get a good night sleep. I would not stay there again for business purposes as it seems the hotel is a tourist destination.

Very nice stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable although the bathroom was on the small side.

Very good hotel---meets all the requirements of a NYC stay--and the room was relatively large. Being on 17th floor was nice--good view too.

My friends and I enjoyed the facilities of the hotel room. The fact that there was a mircowave, a sink and a fridge was a major hit with all 3 of us. The room was good sized for 3 people considering all the shopping we were doing. If we had another person it might have been a little bit of a squeeze. The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance of Times Square and many Broadway Theatres. The only gripe we had was the fact that the aircon unit was hidden behind the curtains when we closed the curtains and it was really noisy when switched on. But overall, we had a great stay at Belvedere.

Amazing, executive rooms are 5 star quality and general rooms are general. Overall, service from hotel staff was exceptional. Friendly and personable.

We arrived almost 4 hours before check-in and our room was ready. We checked in right away and got our day started. The doorman was super friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining. The hotel was in walking distance from everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NYC that doesn't plan on spending all of their time in the hotel. There wasn't a whole lot to do in the hotel itself, but the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, shower was great and ac was perfect. Seeing all we used the room for was getting ready an sleeping it was perfect! We'll definitely be checking for vacancy on our next trip back!

The hotel's location is awesome! Extremely close to everything and the neighborhood is quiet and safe! The room was very clean. However, the hotel offers offsite parking which is very convenient but my passenger mirror was scraped!

Excellent location for staying close to the theatre area. Nice and clean and located 2 blocks from the New York subway.

Awesome location, one block to times square. Staff is friendly, polite and always willing to help. Room rates are on of the best in the city for the location! We stay here on every trip to NYC!

Nice staff, very clean, just a few small things that weren't right. First off, the water temperature in the shower needs to be regulated better. It goes from warm to scalding hot to cold to warm. Second, the rooms have air conditioners in one of the windows and they weren't sealed properly so all the noise from the street below is heard in your room while you're trying to sleep, including the sirens from the fire station a 1/2 block away. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. For the price, I expected a little bit more, but location was great.

I stay here often on business and find it great for the price. Rooms are large (by NY standards) and well-appointed. Location is perfect. Service is very good. Only criticism: slow elevators.

Just a short walk to 42nd St and Broadway theaters. A very clean and comfortable room. Pleasant and helpful staff.

excellent location. very friendly staff. rooms were good size booked king room bed was good size and very comfortable.

“Big” clean room, and the service at the hotel is friendly. We stayed at the “top” floor (17th), great view and not to nosiy. we will definitely stay there again.

Good hotel great location rooms ok and staff friendly recommend this to anyone visiting New York city

The shower water was cold. After complaining three times, management finally fixed it. The air conditioning did not work properly. Even though the temperature was in the 40-50's outside, the room was very warm during the night. The air conditioning was on full blast and the room was still hot.

We booked for a family trip to New York. The hotel was perfectly located near Times Square (a short walk even with a 4 year old) but in an area away from all the noise. Subway entrances also very close to the hotel. Great access to see Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and much more. The hotel staff was great, friendly and offering help and advice as needed. The room was clean and a decent size for New York. The fridge and microwave in the room were a nice bonus for family travel. The hotel was perfect for our trip. We had a nice, clean place to rest and it was close enought to go back to for a mid-day rest for the kids.

We loved our stay but all the extras were pretty expensive. The laundry in particular was very expensive. It would have been nice just to be able to boil water and make a cuppa when wanted. Much better off having breakfast around the corner.

Great location for Times Square/Theater District. Also just a 15 minute walk to Columbus Circle/Lincoln Center, if you hustle. Only minor frustration was the lack of bathroom counter space and too few outlets; which is expected in an older but renovated building.

Our family went for spring break. Room was big for New York and very clean. Staff was so friendly and accomodating. Quite hotel, but very close to the action in Time Square. Would definitely stay there again!

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for 1 night when we got kicked out of our apt for emergency renovations. All we wanted was a 4 star hotel (that of course comes with 4 str amenities like clean bed, clean floor, clean room) that we can sleep in. The hotel looked like that movie Room 1408... Old and creepy. It was relatively clean and no bugs but was not like home! We put tshirts over the pillow cases just in case. This hotel needs a facelift and some new blankets as they looked like "something" spilled all over them. Next time I'm going back to the Sheraton!
