Terrible... Booked a non smoking room and was given a smoking room. Bed was broken.

Everything is great at this hotel.I will be back.

My boyfriend and I took a couple of friends for a weekend get away. The check in was great and the check out was painless. But the bed in our rooms were like sleeping on boards. There was absolutely NO comfort upon crawling into bed after a night of drinking, gambling and fun time. I was never so glad to get home as I was from this trip, to climb into my soft, welcoming bed. Overall the hotel was great.

Older hotel with small rooms, but with all the comforts you need. Close to everything and just a great place to have fun with all the convenience's close by. The price is very reasonable and the restaurants are great!!!Tony Roma's surf and turf for a very reasonable price, also the ribs are always wonderful.

I thought that the noise level in the Buffet, grill was too loud. Everywhere there was piped in music. Why piped in music in the Casino where there is already a cocoughany. CW, rock in the grill and buffet. Why?

FOR THE PRICE IT WAS A GREAT STAY AND EXPERIENCE; CLEAN, SERVICE WAS NICE, FOOD WAS VERY GOOD THROUGHOUT ALL HOTEL RESTUARANTS, WALK OUT OF HOTEL SOUTH EXIT YOU ARE RIGHT ON FREMONT ST EXPERIENCE, CROSS THE STREET ON WESTSIDE OF HOTEL YOU ARE AT A MAIN MASS TRANS EXCHANGE STATION FOR SDX BUS TO VEGAS STRIP.

First of all, I knew I wasn't staying at the Belligao so I did my homework and knew what to expect. I had also stayed downtown before. The Fremont was a bit better than I expected. Room was clean, staff was friendly, casino was not overly crowded. Well worth the money. Right across from the bus, which is a great alternative to taxis. Easy, safe access to the strip. The street life on Freemont street may not be for everyone but really it's more like a local carnival. I will book here again. Better than 4 Queens which is where I stayed before.

The Fremont needs to up grade their rooms. The bed was uncomfortable. TheTV was old and only had 9 stations to watch. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We hadn't been to Fremonth Strreet for over 40 years. We were there when it was "The Strip" Happy to have re-disconvered this great area of Las Vegas.

Fremont location is ideal. If one wants to the other hotels are close by. We had a marvelous time watching the crowd of people etc. The hotel being centrally located gave visitors the opportunity to walk around and enjoy themselves, I know we did. We will be back.

If you are familiar with staying downtown, then this is the perfect place for you. Its in the MIDDLE of Freemont Street, and could not be better located if you are looking for a true downtown Las Vegas experience. They checked us in at noon, even though check in is at 3pm. The room was clean, and very well decorated. Check-out was a breeze, and I will almost certainly be choosing the Freemont Hotel for all future downtown Las Vegas trips, which is 2-3 per year. They were great, and if you want to experience Las Vegas in the way I do, which is old school and low key, then this is the place for you.

I stayed and did want to have the Fremont Experience but the noise lasted pretty much through the early morning hours on weekends. So be prepared for noise of people, sirens, and everything. Upon arrival home all contents in 3 pieces of luggage smell like smoke and I didnt wear half of it. So even everything that was in my room on the 6th floor got smoked out and reeks. I recommend lots of air freshener and burning candles 24/7

I went to Las Vegas for the first time and someone told me "you have to do the Freemont Experience". I wish I had known he did not meant to include the Freemont Hotel as part of the experience. The Freemont Hotel was awful...skeevy is a better word. It is not in a good area of town so tourists beware. I drove around the block 3 times before I found the entrance to the hotel. (1st warning?) The front desk person was courteous at best as she handed me the keys to the room awaiting me. The room smelled musty, the carpet saw better days in the 1980's, and the bathroom left me feeling anything but clean. I made the best of the evening and had a few drinks on Freemont Street. The loud slot machines in the morning were the final straw. I forgo my reservation and deposit for another night and high-tailed it to the Mandalay Bay. It was so worth the few extra dollars a night. I will never be back to this establishment.

The location was great and we had a great time on Fremont Street but next time I'll pay a little extra to stay in a nicer room.

Being downtown was very convenient and affordable.

This is a very nice Hotel, Its small, evlevators are close, let you down right into casino,hotel is right in center of the walk way where all the action is.parking is excellent amd best of all the employees are amng the best. Buffet is one of the best in town

We meet our family from Texas each year and have very much enjoyed staying at Freemont. We plan on doing so again next year as it is the most convienent place we have stayed through the years.

Easy access to old town. Loved the music and light shows at night along with the live bands. Room was old but clean and comfortable.

Clean rooms but very loud. We were put in a corner room that was very small and awkward. Bed's were comfortable. I wouldn't choose to stay here again simply because of the noise levels and the room size. Parking is valet only, which was also annoying!

It was just myself in the room and I was quite satisfied. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the service great. The rooms are reletively small and the bathrooms tiny but for one person OK. I would not stay hear when with my wife as she like a larger area where she can sit down while doing her makeup.

My 2 night stay started out badly even before I showed up. After calling to inquire about early check-in availability, I was put on hold by Front Desk and then forgotten. After 5 minutes, I called back and this time was rudely advised that I could TRY to check in 1 hour early but she wouldn't say if any rooms are available. So I bum around for an hour and then show up on time. After asking for a QUIET room, I get setup right next to a family of 4 with 2 small children running wild in the hallways outside and door are SLAMMING left and right. And it's an ADJOINING room. I am certain the same person who put me on hold, then was rude to me also set me up in this wonderfully quiet room. I went back downstairs and this time I spoke to another Front Desk Agent who was very pleasant, got me on another floor that was indeed quiet, and from here on out, the trip was awesome. Everyone else we encountered from patrons to cleaning crew to wait staff at Tony Roma's were very nice and friendly. Valet only parking but this is not a bad thing, just be prepared to jump out of your car with your bags. Old skool Vegas feel and location but clean rooms and super mellow gamblers make this a good stop for those seeking to escape the Strip madness.

Location, location, location...Right in the middle of the gambling mecca downtown. Wonderful experience, extremely nice personnel. The complimentary valet parking is handy and efficient. Hotel staff is friendly and professional. Dealers and wait staff are efficient and give you the feeling that you are important. The rooms are what you would expect for a discount hotel. The TV could use upgrading. I was impressed with the efficiency of the elevators (12th floor room). Everything you need is very close. Convience stores, liquor stores, clubs, and lots of places to eat without the high prices you pay for food on the strip.

Once I arrived I got a free upgrade (without 20-Dollar-Trick or asking) to a suite. The suite was big, although i did not need as much room and it was actually clean although there was a weird feeling it would not be although it most likely was. The carpets could be renewed but thats it. Comparably to the big suite the bathroom was tiny. The location is good for being off-strip. Really loud before 12 though, but who goes to bed in Vegas :>

Bathroom was poor, complained about it being clogged and they still did not repair it. 2nd day, there was little to none hot water in the bath. Poor Poor Poor

very convenient bus right at door, best quality price for budget in las Vegas

Stayed 3 nights during CES. Was pleasently surprised At how nice it was. Not a 4 star hotel, more on the style of a motel 6. But clean comfortable and very nice and pleasent staff. Would do it again when the same level Room on the strip is going for $348 a night during the show. Faster valet and bags then the Mirafe where we stated the nights before!

Staff was pleasant. Buffet was tasty and reasonable compared to the higher hotels. The rooms need updating, but are clean. Right on Fremont St, which was nice. Most people are visting the main strip, but Fremont is nice and worth the experience. The light show was cool....

the parking stafff was super fast, we walked in and in less that 3 minutes wqe had our keys and the nice desk lady put out 2 rooms adjacent to each other, the door between the rooms was opened promptly by the porter. The cleaning staff was actually friendly and polite. THe croud is older than on the strip but who needs 20 year old girls in high heels anyway. THe hotel is right on the Freemont Street experience. The room was great for a weekend of sight seeing. Great place to sleep and bathe.

I love the hotel, the brewry and the restaurant. The people aqre great at the registrar. the down side of the hotel is the showers, they are to low and I'm 5.7. Everything else is just excellent. I have used the place for the last 10 years. Close to the ceicing light shows as i calle it. withing waking distance to the shops. What else can you ask for.

Hotel rooms were really nice and clean but the rooms do have a smoke smell even though they say non smoking, other than that it was a great stay.

Horrible, no tv worth turning on. Bathroom too small for 1 person!
