My wife and I had a plesent stay breakfast was first class .as my wife is a celiac they were very hepfull with her dietri needs will use the marriot again

A short taxi journey from the rail station and within easy walking distance of numerous shops etc . Excellent breakfast choice in a quiet and comfortable hotel. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The staff at the hotel could not help enough - so nice to feel that our stay was as important to them as to us!!!!

All good except having to pay for car parking. Also don't get the hotel to book you a taxi as they were very expensive.

Spacious room with high quality bed and generally high standards.

Booked a special offer, including breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was not as good as usual. They did not know what was included in the Dinner package! Ended up with the 'Groupon' special, which I think was inferior. Fire alarm went off in the night, staff did not know how to handle it and customers where standing around for more than an hour. Apart from this it was ok.They also now charge £3 per night for parking!

Checked in and out by the impersonal cold staff behind the desk, not so much as how's you or how was your stay. Not the usual Marriott standard, the rooms are looking a little dated and in need of freshening up. Was fooled into paying for a garden view, not so much a garden more a walkway. Breakfast was good the usual help yourself all you can eat. Overall a non descript weekend night away. Don't be fooled by the picture of the lovely Manor house this is nothing to do with this hotel it is of Hanbury Manor the Marriott up the road.

We were only staying here one night. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was warm and clean and a very comfy bed. We didn't eat at the hotel as the prices were a little higher than what we wanted to pay, so had a couple of drinks in the bar only. The breakfast was excellent - a choice of everything you could wish for and very professional staff on duty. Enjoyed our stay. Thank You

We have stayed at the Marriott Cheshunt on several occasions whilst visiting relatives in central London, and have always enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are always helpful. However, on arrival last weekend we were informed that the hotel is now charging residents for parking overnight!! I could maybe understand if the hotel was situated in central London, but Cheshunt isn't, and the majority of guests I'm sure will be arriving by car by nature of where the hotel is. We asked the receptionist why the hotel was charging, and she informed us, that other hotels also employed this policy (a lame excuse!) and that locals were also using the hotel for car parking, again, hardly a reason to charge residents at the hotel. The fee is only £3 per night, but the issue is not the amount, but the principal of the matter. We would have also like to have logged onto WiFi, but were told that there was no free access and the charge was £6 for half an hour! An excessive fee, when lots of other hotels are offering this service free of charge. Come on Marriott - stop adding fees to your room rate, otherwise like us, your guests will begin to desert you and stay elsewhere!! We'd rather not, but feel that we have no option.

We have stayed in this hotel many times now and the buffet breakfast was excellent, as always. Hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. Only downside is that they have started charging for parking - even for hotel residents.

nice hotel,pleasent staff,stayed here ten years ago,hotel rooms very clean with plenty of room.lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi,and ideal for paradise wildlife park and some shops,would stay here again,very tdeal for a family like ours.

Why do you need to pay for the car park? Surely it would be incorperated in your room. I thought all TV's are flat screen now, get with the times. We booked for 3 adults in one room (my wife, her sister and I) this hotel presumed that we would all sleep in the same bed? Never presume, if you are not sure, ask.

My wife and I booked the hotel for a weekend getaway without the kids for a couple of nights. We used the hotel as a base for taking the train into London on the Saturday. Only 25 mins by train to Liverpool street station and very conveniently located just outside London M25 orbital. As for the hotel - it had everything you would expect from a Marriott. Very comfortable rooms, great little gym and swimming pool which I enjoyed however what made it all the more pleasant were the lovely staff. From Loubaba and Joanna the friendly and informative local experts at reception to the very helpful and attentive staff at the restaurant - Paris, Jenny, Elis, Christian and Francis. Paris in particular was great and nothing was too much trouble for Christian and Francis. Finally I must mention the Chef Abdel who brought real theatre and a buzz to the breakfast bar as the kids and (some parents too) gathered round as they watched him flip his breakfast omelettes. As always it is the staff that make or break a hotel. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

A little bit disappointing. Was expecting a little higher standard of comfort and overall condition expected of a Marriott Hotel. Room was close to a busy main road so was rather noisy.

I stayed at this hotel July 2011, as I was visiting Paradise Wildlife Park - which is about 10 mins drive away. The hotel is really nice, parking is only £3 for 24hrs. My room was very clean and spacious and I found the beds comfortable. I had b&b and found the breakfast buffet was good quality, had the usual english breakfast plus cereals, fruit and muffins. Nothing to complain about at all - only thing I would say is there isn't really anything in walking distance here for the evening if you are planning to go out.. although there is a small shopping centre nearby.

We stayed in a lovely room- 2 double beds, lots of space. All the hotel staff were friendly, childrens meals were super and served quickly. WOuld definitely stay there again.

Very friendly staff and great amenities. Booked because it's close to the Wildlife Paradise Park and was not disappointed!

well located for our purposes, but hotel has become old. While the beds are still ok, esp. the rooms are not on a 4* level. So only book on discounted rates.

We regularly use the Marriott Hotel when visiting our son in North London. The hotel is five minutes away from the station in Cheshunt, so handy for a direct link into Liverpool Street. The hotel could maybe do with a bit of an update but the rooms are comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The only moan I have is, that they always used to put matress toppers on the beds, which made them amazingly comfortable, but on the last two occasions this hasn't happened. Breakfast is always excellent, and the staff are always very efficient and freindly. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights for family event. Location convenient, near A10and M25. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast buffet each day reasonably comprehensive. Some noise on Sat night from drunken wedding guest at 5am, but otherwise good experiance. Would recommend for short break.

The bar staff were very slow and unprofesstional. They made mistakes with bills put on my room tap.

A warm welcome, a clean comfortable room and frendly and helpful staff made for a very enjoyable stay.

Know the hotel for 2 years now, Service-level has gone down. Does not really meet modern 4* standard. If booked on a reduced price level (far in advance) or if your travelling with 3 or 4 Pax. in one room, it's oK overall

Booked this hotel due to it's proximity to wildlife park. Staff were ok at booking us in although tried to change our room so make sure you take your confirmation with you. Had a meal in the restaurant which was fine. Rooms were nice but the beds were not to our liking as they were very soft but for one night it was fine. We were woken by our neighbouring room at 2.30am with singing! The hotel is a very busy hotel so don't expect complete peace and quiet. The pool looked good but we didn't venture in! Breakfast was fine, lots of choice but not the best quality.

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions now and, as usual, the staff are extremely polite and friendly - nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The buffet breakfast is second-to-none - a wonderful selection that would suit anyone's requirements. Highly recommended!

Hotel was as expected, booked overnight for a wedding along with a whole bunch of other people. My booking was for a twin room with breakfast for two but the reservation sent to the hotel just said room only. I pointed this out when we checked in and when we were told we couldn't join the others at breakfast. This is the first time i didn't take a printed copy of the booking with me - and the last. The hotel did allow us to have breakfast eventually, after i argued, and, as soon as i got home i checked my inbox and the booking clearly said 'Breakfast for 2'.

We enjoyed our stay but thought the menu could have been more varied for a hotel as some meals were quite expensive and were more like pub food. Example; Chef's Special was Gammon & Egg but that is all you got for £16. 50p. The service in the restaurant was very hit and miss. The breakfast menu was excellent.

Unfortunately the pool was being repaired at the time. However they upgraded us to a suite, which was superb. Service in the room and at breakfast were both very good. All staff were polite and also arranged for us to use pool at another nearby marriot.

We have stayed at the Cheshunt Marriot on several occasions now and have always been very happy with the service. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and the buffet breakfast is always of a high standard with a wide selection to choose from.

This was our first stay in a hotel with our 10 month old. Even though we brought our own food the staff could not have been more helpful in warming it up and dealing with our/his every need. Babies are naturally messing when feeding themselves and this did not seem to bother the staff in fact they actually turned this into a game with our Son, which he found most amuzing. I would like to thank all the staff for there help and understanding during our stay

we were a small group of 12 people hotel was booked and paid before arrival but guest needed credit card before they could check in so i had to use my card so they could check in not to happy with that took ages to get checked because of this. .

Bra prisvärt Hotell. Enda som kändes lite konstigt var att ett 4 stjärnigt Hotell inte har tillgång till internet på rummet.

Netti ei ole ilmainen ja ei langatonta saatavilla huoneisiin! Ainoastaan piuhan päähän ja tarvitsee vielä tosiaan maksaa!

L'hôtel dans l'ensemble est bien, mais j'ai été déçue par l'environnement autout de l'hôtel. En effet la photo que vous présentez à côté du nom du cheshunt hôtel ne correspond pas. C'est la photo du Handbury Manor Marriott hôtel qui lui est situé dans un grand parc dans un bâtiment magnifique. Donc imaginez ma déception lors de notre arrivée! J'espère que vous allez rectifier cette erreur très rapidement.

Personalet i både reception, restaurant og rengøringen var utroligt søde og imødekommende i den grad at den ene overnatning (2 voksne og 2 børn, 4+8) fik et løft og skal vi til London igen er vi ikke i tvivl om overnatningen længere.
