Sheraton Iguazu Resort - إيجوازو

We had an amazing time at the Sheraton. The room was nice, the pool was beautiful and clean, the views could not be better, and the best part is it's inside the park. Yes it was pricy, but well worth every penny. We stayed in a Falls View room and was so nice to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view from our room. And if you don't get the room with the view, there are plenty of places on the grounds to see it. Literally a 5 minute walk and you're on a trail in the park - that was so nice!! We made it through every trail, the boat ride, and san martin island(i think that's what it's called) in 1 and a half days. We only stayed at the hotel one night. Got in at 10 am and left at 3 pm the next day. You could spend more time but that's all you really need if you're fairly in shape and can walk at a good pace. Only one complaint: We traveled here in March, woke up at 4am sweating!! Called the office and they said they didn't have the air conditioning on in the building. They said that it was fine for most people. So we asked for a fan, they said that they were all taken....Hmmm guess it's not fine for most people...Hello, i think you can keep the air on for the price people are paying here.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. It is literally steps from the National Park. The hotel was lovely, clean, and the staff helpful.

We stayed here bacause its the only hotel in the National Park....first the good: the view from behind the check-in desk was amazing...and we had the same view from our room and all the restaurant/bar areas. The staff were amazing...helpful and made great suggestions about dinner in town...arranged a car and booked our table....simple and easy. We loved the hotel's location and it is kept up to a reasonable standard....but the exterior needs a paint job...actually it deserves a total refurbishment....too bad they don't better capitalize on the location...pool could be much nicer too...but I recommend you stay here anyway for the views alone...

The hotel was in a fantastic location. Easy to transfer from airport right in the heart of the national park. Easy to get to the falls and surrounding attractions. Located close to public transport to make your way into the township. Overall a great stay was very impressed and was the highlight of my trip to South America.

My husband and myself had been on our 1st Argentina trip at the end of Jan 2012. We started our trip with Iguazu.The hotel is conveniently located inside the park and so you get all the facilities of accessing the park anytime. The view of the falls from the hotel is awesome. You can watch it anytime of the day. Also if you want to watch the falls from the Brazil side the travel company located inside the hotel will help you to make the necessary arrangements. We got a personal car with a driver who took us to the Falls on the Brazil side. He stayed with us and showed us way to buy all the entry tickets faster than the regular visitors. So we saved lot of time and we finished our trip in 5 hours. The only thing that I guess everyone mentions is the cost of the hotel. I agree it is expensive but considering our 2 dyas stay in Iguazu and having limited time to wander around we wanted to stay inside the park. The restaurant also serves really good breakfast with lots of options and for dinner you can eat great buffet or order some good steaks with some good wine.

We are so happy we decided to book here. It was the ideal place to be to conveniently tour falls area. Despite some reviews we read we found breakfast and all meals to be excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly too.

It locates inside the park. And it is the only hotel has such privilege. The room has heavy smell of smoke and I was unlucky enough to be in the only room with a palm tree blocking most of the view - despite I paid more for the fall-view room. I came with my wife but they just said it is too full to arrange a double room for us.

This Sheraton is located within the confines of the Igazu Falls national park, and is really close to the departure point for tours of the falls. If you don't have a car and don't want to take a cab ride into the town, then eating in the hotel restaurant is your only option for dinner -- surprisingly, the food was really good, as was the service. The only disappointment was the condition of the rooms. When we checked in, the hotel told us we had renovated rooms on the SPG floor. If so, I'd hate to see the unrenovated rooms. There was a flat screen TV, but no signal (apparently the signal was unavailable hotel wide). The air conditioner made a lot of noise, but produced nearly no cool air. Notwithstanding those problems, there's really no better place to stay, and you're unlikely to spend much time in your room anyway. The location of the hotel more than makes up for any faults with the rooms.

This is the only hotel in the park on the Argentina side so the convenience factor to the trails is fantastic. HOWEVER, the entire second floor was under construction during our visit so from 8am-6pm it was like someone was hammering right next to you. Even staying in the room for short periods of time was unbearable. Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this hotel until they can promise the construction will not interfere with the calmness of your stay.

Let me start by saying the view from the falls side of the Sheraton is AMAZING. Even if your room's not located on that side, the sights from the restaurant, lounge and pool are all breathtaking glimpses of the largest waterfall in the area. Plus since the hotel is located right in the middle of the park, you can walk right outside and enjoy all of the wonders that Iguazu Falls has to offer. That being said, the location is also the downside of the Sheraton. During the day this works nicely but in the evening you're essentially trapped there as the food and social options are extremely limited and as you would guess, overpriced. There are two fantastic towns surrounding this area (Puerto Iguazu & Foz do Iguaçu) and it cost $100-$150 Pesos each way to get to and from these locations from the hotel. Two nights in town could wind up costing you $500 Pesos in transportation alone. If the purpose of your trip simply seeing the falls and spending relaxing nights in the Jungle then this is the place for you, However if your plans include spending time enjoying the culture and cuisine of the surrounding areas, I would recommend staying in one of the towns and only getting hit with the transportation fee to the park once as you really only need one day to take in all the sights.

Undoubtedly the best location for seeing the amazing Iquazu falls. Falls views rooms especially recommended. Service excellent and very friendly staff. However, be aware that the hotel is fully aware of its monopoly position and prices accordingly. Fabric beginning to look tired and food not especially good. All said, would definitely go again and spend two or three nights there to explore one of the great wonders of the world.

Indeed the fact that it is located in the National Park of Iguazu, the only thing is that you can have the view on the waterfall, if you pay the price. The standard price for a room with view, will allow you to see a little bit and from far, the falls !!!! I stilll think that it is expensive for what it is.

We enjoyed the convenience of being able to enter the park before the crowds from town. the breakfast was most delicious. the buffet dinner was good except for the meat and fish choices. All the staff were informative ,professional, and always smiling.

Upon arrival we were greeted at the parking lot by a bell man who took our suit cases. Celia, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and efficient. All the staff was veyr fiendly and they treated us as if we were family. The hotel is located is in the middle of a huge national park that has the Iguzau Falls on the Argentinian border. The landscaping was great and the sights of the falls could be viewed from those whose room were facing it. Unfortunately, ours was Jungle View which was the opposite direction facing the parking lot. There were two huge fig trees in the back loaded with hundreds of fruit. Butterflies, birds, dragonflies were everywhere. There was even a monkey who put on a show for us as we watch him climb the rails to the rooms. We were cautioned to lock the doors in the balcony to preven t the monkeys from coming in. There was a roof top where you can see the falls, birds, flowers,sunset. etc.Within a walking distance, you can go to the trails to view the many falls. There is a swimming pool and spa that we did not use. We saw wild animlas when it was almost getting dark. One was a family of coaties climbing the trees to roost for the night. The walk to the trails to see the waterfalls was easy as it is very near Our accommodation included free breakfast which was excellent. Even after coming from a 2-week cruise of South America and Antarctica where there was lots of good food, I I was really impressed with the variety and quality of the food served. There were lots of fresh fruit, cakes cookies, cheeses, cold cuts, hot entrees. The fresh fruit juices included orange juice, mate, papaya juice, apple juice, kiwi juice, mimosas. There was a bottle of chilled Chandon champagne, as well as coffee and tea. There were many varieties of rolls, croissants and freshly baked loaves of bread, cheeses, jams, preserves, jellies and dried fruit (dates, orange rind, pineapple, apricots) and nuts.. There were yogurt and yougurt drinks .It included exotic

Iguazu Falls is in the jungle and quite humid, consequently the building takes a bit of a beating. BUT this is THE place to stay because it's a good hotel with a fabulous location - the paths into the Falls are right there on the Sheraton property. You can walk to all the areas you want to visit so easily. We had a room facing the falls, and that was spectacular. The room was clean, the sheets were high quality, the internet and the TV worked well, so no complaints there. The breakfast buffet was way more than plentiful! Dinner was very good. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. Remember, you are in the middle of a jungle, so given that, things were very very good. We took a bus (which stopped right in front of the hotel) into the little city of Iguazu, had a beer at a hip pub called Guinness, although they didn't serve Guinness stout, and shopped in the nearby stores, some of which were upscale and nice.

This hotel gets undo criticism. It is not a world class hotel and does have high prices but you will not get a better view and access to the falls. The hotel is also very good for all but the truly snotty. We did have a problem with our air conditioning but our friends room was perfect in this regard. The free breakfast was excellent and services are fine. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Iguazu.

The location of this hotel is fabulous and that is the only reason we would stay there again. Make sure that you have a "Falls view" room and ask for one in the middle or the left hand end (if you are facing the Falls). The staff were not friendly and the restaurant was ordinary but the view from the roof was worth everything else.

A nice resort hotel in the middle of Iguazu Falls Park. The view is incredible, and the hotel is right where the action is. It ain't cheap though. So keep that in mind when looking for a place to stay. 1-2 days is plenty to see the falls. The hotel will store your things if you have to check out before your flight, and let you use the facility and shower.

The hotel could not have been better located for seeing the Iqauzu Falls. It is in the National Park with a view of the falls. Excellent acces to the falls!

THE GOOD You are steps from the waterfalls, making for amazing views and lovely, easy walks in the morning and evening. The staff was generally attentive and accommodating. THE BAD Other than the location, the hotel isn't really worth the price you're paying. The restaurants are ordinary and expensive. You'll pay through the nose for a bottle of water. There's a nice pool (if it's in season) and a fitness center ... but absurdly, they charge by the half-hour merely to use the jacuzzi they promote. The rooms are a decent size, but the shower was probably the worst we've ever encountered in a hotel of this (or actually, lower) quality. We're pretty certain that something was taken from our room, as well, and the hotel was only mildly concerned and marginally interested in investigating. Overall ... even without having set foot in the hotel across the falls in Brazil, we would stay there if we returned. (The view of the falls is far superior from the Brazilian side, as well.)

Hotel is definitely the best location if you visit the Argentinian side of the Iguazu falls. Its right in the park, so you need to pay only one time entrance fee and no taxi costs to and from the park. View from the hotel rooms (fall view) is really impressive. But the restaurant facilities really are below standard. The food is simply not good.

The hotel offered upscale amenities, including a fine restaurant, as well as a rear terrace view of the falls, as well as access to the trails to the falls. The spa had a Zen-like quality. It was easy to book not only a boat ride that went right up to the falls, but also an open jeep, escorted tour into the tropical forest. I regretted not having booked a couple more days to allow time to visit the Brazilian side and to spend time sitting around the beautiful pool. Dress was sporty-casual. Breakfast was included in the room charge. The falls were even more beautiful than I had expected. I was there in early April, which is Autumn there, so there were not many families with children at that time of year, and while there were a reasonable amount of visitors, it was not too crowded, which made it very pleasant. The weather was extremely temperate and not too humid.

The Sheraton is the perfect location to visit Iguazu Falls, especially if you are only visiting for a couple of days. The hotel itself could probably do with a little bit of updating. Expensive but worth the splurge!

Wonderful setting, wonderful views, great food, and great service. I had stayed at this hotel 19 years earlier and, surprisingly, it is much nicer and the staff is much friendlier. This is a must stay and must see area. You won't be sorry about anything. Just want to stay a bit longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. Most of the Falls are on the Argentine side and they are easily accessible on foot from the Sheraton. I would recommend the extra for the Falls View rooms.

If you are going to visit Iguazu Falls, staying at the Sheraton is a must. It is the only hotel located within the park grounds (at least on the Argentinian side -- I believe there is another intra-park hotel on the Brazilian side). The convenience of being able to return to your room, eat, clean up, rest, etc. before starting off to see a different section of the falls is worth the additional expense. And the views from within the hotel are magnificent! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful, and you don't have to pay for additional day passes (at half price after the first day) if you stay at the Sheraton. The only criticism I have, and it is a minor one, is that the food at dinner, while edible, certainly wasn't worth the price charged. The breakfast buffet, however, was decent, and is included in the price of the room. Airport transfers were not, however, which I thought should have been given the fact that a falls-view room is about 3 times that charged for a room in town. One additional hint: avoid the under-falls boat ride unless it's a very hot day. I went in the winter (temp in the low 70s) and the boat operators didn't provide water-proof ponchos. It was not a pleasant experience. It's possible that, had I booked the ride through the hotel concierge, ponchos would have been provided.

Excelente estadía, no solo por el lugar espectacular en que se encuentra, sino tambien por la atención y servicios del hotel. Muy recomendable.

Hermoso Hotel. Atencion muy buena. Deberian cambiar los ascensores por ser antiguos y lentos

Excelente ubicación y servicios prestados por el Hotel. Ideal para ir con niños pequeños y/o con adultos mayores, ya que al estar ubicado dentro del Parque Nacional permite recorrerlo tranquilamente intercalando las caminatas con descanso tanto en la hermosa piscina como en las confortables habitaciones. Muy buena atención por parte del personal. 100% recomendable. Volveria!!!

En general el hotel es bueno, no excelente. Lo mejor que tiene es la vista a las cataratas. La habitación que nos asignaron inicialmente tenía un olor terrible, afortunadamente nos cambiaron de inmediato. Todo el staff fue muy amable.

Esta ubicado dentro del parque nacional con vista a la catarata. Una posición privilegiada para poder ver un espectáculo impresionante desde la misma habitación un privilegio unico en su genero

イグアス国立公園内に位置し、フロントから悪魔の喉笛から吹き上げられる飛沫とともに滝を望むことができます。とにかく場所が最高です。今回はジャングルViewを選択したのですが、次回は絶対にFalls Viewにしたいと思います。 言葉についてはフロント、レストランスタッフを含め英語で対応をしてくれますし完成度の低い私の言葉もほぼ100%理解してくれました。熱帯雨林気候なので室内の湿度が高めなのが気になりましたが、それ以外はとても快適に過ごせました。 強いて言うと売店等がないのでお水など高めのお金を原必要があります。

El check out es muy temprano a las 10:00 y tienen mucho afan por sacarnos de la habitacion golpearon a las 8:00 y al no contestar inmediatamente entraron a la habitacion

予約係に問題があるらしく、滝側かジャングル側を間違われたり、２泊なのに１泊目に料金の請求が来たり問題はあったが、ロケイションの良さで満足した。

Hotel Otimo Localização excelente Recomendo.

Aunque el hotel está recién remodelado, se nota que es una construcción de los 80's. Pero está cómodo y limpio, y el personal es excelente. Lo incomparable es la localización, dentro del parque de Iguazú del lado argentino. Con el Real tan caro, quedarse en Argentina es una muy buena opción. Muy recomendable. Tip: la vista a las cascadas vale el costo adicional.

El único problema es el coste; pero si tienes lo que piden, no lo dudes, alójate en una de las habitaciones con vistas a las cataratas: las tienes justo frente a tí. Una verdadera maravilla. La sauna y el baño turco vienen muy bien después de visitar esa maravilla que es Iguazú. El servicio esmeradísimo y desde el propio hotel puedes recorrer las catarátaras.

El hotel está en un lugar maravilloso en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Las Cataratas del Iguazú son una maravilla de la naturaleza y desde este hotel se aprecian en toda su magnitud. Voto porque sea considerada una de las 7 maravillas de la naturaleza!!!
