The hotel staff is amazing, they were so helpful with any questions we had about the city and things to do and if they didn't know, they would look it up for us. Great staff!!!!

Had a wonderful time. Staff very courteous and pleasant. The only complaint were the pillows. They were hard as bricks.

Hotel was within walking distance to all locations we were interested in going to. Clean and comfortable. The only things wrong at this hotel were the pillows, they were hard as a brick and no breakfast amenities. They did have a Starbucks in the building which was nice but no real food. I would stay again but take my own pillows.

Staying at the wyndham hotel was infact a delightful visit. My husband and i were extremely impressed!

Great hotel has a great price and good location. The only problem is that you need to pay valet parking which is 20 per day. Also They need some mini fridge and microwaves if they add that it would be awsome.

Good hotel, close to bourbon street.

The location is excellent, in a quiet area just outside the French Quarter but within very short walking distance of Bourbon Street. Everything was very clean. The rooms were updated and nice, though I didn't care for the harsh fluorescent light bulbs without any filtering at all - and sme without fixtures covering them. Everyone looks 50 years older under those things. Check in and check out were fast and friendly, which was unusual as most of the front desk staff in New Orleans hotels I had found to be robotic or lethargic. Parking was easy and plentiful. But be aware that there are "hidden" taxes on the parking fee. They advertise $20 per night parking, but after the tax it is actually $22 per night. The TV situation needs work. There was no channel guide provided and many of the channels were fuzzy. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Excellent location. Short walk to Bourbon Street. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. The only negative was there was no window that gave you a view to the street outside.

Although this Hotel is not really close to the French Quarter, its still close enough. The Sushi resturant is the best. You must try the Baronne Roll. I really enjoyed my stay.

This hotel has currently undergone some renovations but needs more improvement. The air conditioning didn't work while I was there. The coffee shop that boasts serving Starbucks is NOT anything close to a Starbucks. Their iced coffee is hot coffee poured over ice and their breakfast option is a frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit. Seriously? Valet parking is $30 but there isn't a valet-you drop/pick up your keys at the front desk and anyone available retrieves them. The rooms: The majority of their rooms don't have windows to the outside-only to the hallway. It felt claustrophobic and institutional. The desk and chair look/feel about 30 years old and the tv is the size of my computer screen at home. The bed is really the ONLY positive feature about this hotel as it's really comfortable! I would never stay here again.

This is a quirky little hotel a block off of Canal Street. Not much happening in the hotel itself, but when you are within 3 blocks of the French Quarter and about 5 blks. from the SuperDome, who cares!!! The TV's in the rooms were nice Flat screens - free internet access - nice comfy beds - parking garage underneath - a coffee shop in the lobby, what more could you ask for on a "Hotels.com price !!! We had a great time

The room was very hot and muggy and had a funky smell like a locker room. Got back too late at night to have to take it up with hotel maintenance.

We had a room with a window, which was a bonus because a lot of the rooms overlook the interior of the hotel. Yes, the design is a bit odd, but everything in the room worked properly (this is often not the case these days, even in the best hotels), there was plenty of hot water, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We were first sent to room 232. Upon entering the room it smelled of a strong pungent sewage smell. The management moved us to a different room. It still smelled but not nearly as bad. (I suspect there's some issue with the HVAC system, regarding air exchange) The room itself was clean, and very nice imo. You can not order movies if you don't like what's on basic cable. The hotel "restaurant" or "Sunrise Cafe" is a bare minimum attempt to provide food. They may as well have used vending machines as those you could use 24/7. There is no kitchen, rather there are a few items you can buy from a case, you can nuke them or eat them cold. You don't stay at this hotel for the food. The exterior room on the 4th floor allowed plenty of street noise which kept me up from 2 am - 4 am on one night. But street noise is expected in Mardi Gras. After Mardi Gras ended it was quiet enough. We were kindly offered free breakfast coupons as a result of the smelly room episode. We gave the coupons to the girl, but decided to pass on the nukeable breakfast sandwiches. I asked if I could have a banana, which they had, but that wasn't covered by the coupon. Give me a break! The location of the hotel was convenient for us to walk to Mardi Gras parades and for walking to the French Quarter and Riverwalk. Parking was not free, and the parking garage is very small. I left my vehicle parked there for our five day stay and another vehicle scraped our rear bumper. The hotel general manager is supposed to review the video next week. (I'm not optimistic) It turns out they have valet parking where their insurance covers incidents like this but it costs an additional $10 per day. Overall, I would say the hotel is a nice hotel and the interior living spaces are well kept. The HVAC system most likely has design or maintenance issues. The hotel doesn't offer in house food or pool. The "business" area offers a computer and printer for airline ticket printing only. Then three other computers which

it is a perfect hotel for Mardi Gras festival and city tour, near to Bourbone street and most of the city atractions, it is not the most luxury hotel but for families and holaday trips is more than enough. very expensive parking. no breakfast.

Really appreciated the manager helping us with directions to navigate around the city during Mardi Gras. If it wasn't for him, we would have never gotten to the hotel that Sunday.

The Baroone Plaza is at a very convenient location. It's just a block away from the French Quarter right at Bourbon Street which puts right next to the place where it's happening but not into the middle of it. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel staff doesn't mind if you sleep until 2pm, your room gets still cleaned, although it can take them until 6pm to do so. The only weird thing is that you have to wear a wrist band that identifies you as hotel guest but this could have also only been due to Mardi Gras. Another strange thing is that you have to pay 25 bucks to bring a guest along.

While this isn't the nicest hotel I've stayed, it has many attractions nearby, all within walking distance. The staff was friendly & even helped out when we discovered a glitch in our reservation.

This hotel is only one block from Canal Street. Once I went to my room, I didn't hear any of the outside sounds. The rooms were nice and comfy. The beds were plush and extremely comfortable. There were always cleans towels and fresh linens. The water pressure was excellent. One of the best things is we had to wear a wrist band in order to get into hotel. This was to ensure that the guest were not bringing extra people into the hotel ir so random people off the street couldn't walk in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to visit New Orleans.

Hotel is in a great location. Service was very good. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is due to extra persons fees, wristband replacement fees, parking tax (13%!?) and very cramped bathroom space. Understandibly it could have been due to the current events but extra charges became a hassle and the bathroom could have used an extra foot of clearance from the door to the tub.

I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the bed and the convenience of its location. The check in was quick and easy and polite. The free wifi coupled with the cleanliness and comfort made me a very happy guest.

The staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and the rooms were small - but clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to the attractions of downtown New Orleans. I also felt safe walking in the neighborhood of the hotel at night. I would definately stay at this location again.

Front desk staff friendly and helpful with information, coupons for restaurants. Room was clean & quiet. Bathroom had a great shower. Room was cramped for the size desk and chair in it. Pillows were large but except for one, were too hard. Flat scren TV was nice.

My fiance and I could not stop talking about how wonderful our stay was. We actually took cabs for the first two days but walked back from Bourbon the last night and it wasn't a long walk at all. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip!!!

I had 3 of my co-workers and myself that I made reservations for 2 of them first time to New Orleans and I must admit the hotel was fantastic. Rooms were clean and comfortable the hotel attendants at the desk were very attentive to all of our needs and questions. The only thing I didn't like was they had no attendants to help with baggage and they have a Sushi restaurant that had a bar but the bartender was not very skilled in making drinks or knowing what the pricing was also he didn't understand English very well. But overall this was great stay for all of us and I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel. My only negative is that it doesn't have great parking. There is a small parking garage below the hotel. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

Was disapointed because there was no bkfst, coffee, parking etc like we are used to from other hotels. Also, no fan in the bathrom.

Very nice hotel for the money, but prepare to pay a parking charge of $20 per night (more if you valet).
