كانت الغرفة جميلة، والديكور جيد وحديث وكان السرير مريح جدًا. حصلنا على غرفة بها منظر 180 درجة، والذي كان رائعًا بالنسبة لي لأنني أحب الضوء الطبيعي. لقد كنت هناك من أجل العمل وكان المكتب مواجهًا للحائط الذي به النوافذ وكان هذا مثاليًا. ولسوء الحظ، هنا تتوقف المشاعر. كانت حرارة الغرفة لا تتغير حتى لو قمت بضبطها. آراء أخرى تناقش الحمام الذي حصلوا عليه. كانت المياه في كل مكان، كان هذا يعطيك شعور أنك في دش لغرفة راقية. لا أمانع لهذه الدرجة. إنني لم أفهم حتى لماذا قرروا عدم وجود مساحة للمنضدة في الحمام. ولا حتى مقعد حمام.غريب. وكان أسوأ شيء على الإطلاق هو الطريقة التي يبدو بها مالكي الفندق أنهم لا ينفقون على هذه الإقامة. كان طاقم العمل أكثر شيء لطيف في المكان، خدمة الغرف بعد الخامسة مساء مع قائمة غير ملهمة على الإطلاق. عندما ذهبت إلى بوفيه 18 دولار لإفطار ساخن كان هناك شخص واحد فقط يعمل في الطابق. أعنى بهذا انه كان المضيف والنادل والخادم ومنظف الأطباق. كان الأمر كله غير مقبول. شعرت بالحزن على هذا الشخص. إذا كنت جائعًا بعد الظهر فإن الساعة الخامسة مساء تبدو وكأنها خارج العمل. لا تتوقع الكتابة حول الزاوية. هناك مطاعم جميلة وقريبة ولكنها على بعد عدة مناطق سكنية والذي سيكون شيئًا سخيفًا إذا كان يوم بارد. إنه جيد بالنسبة للسعر. الغرفة الجميلة جعلت معظم المضايقات تتلاشى.

الغرفة التي حجزتها لم تكن متاحة ولكن تم تغييرها، أسِرة أصغر، منظر رائع...طاقم عمل لطيف وعلى استعداد للمساعدة..جميع الأدوات متاحة بتكلفة أعلى، القهوة في الغرفة، ثلاجة، ميكروويف، انترنت، كل الأشياء الإضافية...ويشمل بوفيه الإفطار..وغياب آلة الثلج وآلة البيع أيضًا.

أصبت بخيبة أمل منذ الوصول. أولاً حصلنا على غرفة لم تنظف منذ أن تركها النزيل السابق. الغرفة التالية كانت في زاوية خلفية ونوافذ موصدة، مرة أخرى غير مقبولة. وأخيراً وافقنا على الغرفة الأولى على أن يتم تنظيفها، فكان عليهم إحضارنا في غرفة أخرى لأن تنظيف الغرفة الأولى كان صعبًا جدًا. كان طاقم مكتب المساعدة غير مهذبين ومزعجين...وأخيراً حصلت على مساعدة أحد الأشخاص اللطفاء. الدور العلوي غير منظم وغير لطيف. لن أوصي بهذا الفندق.

الموقع جيد جدًا، كان هناك سوء حظ يلازمنا حيث حصلنا على غرفة مدخنة في اليوم الأول، كان طاقم العمل جيدًا وأصلح هذه المشكلة في اليوم التالي. كانت الإقامة جيدة بشكل عام، هل سأقيم هناك مرة أخرى، من المحتمل لا. إذا كانت غرفتك أقل من الطابق الثامن فإن الضوضاء ستكون عالية جدًا، على الرغم من أنه شيء عام في مدينة نيويورك كلها...

The hotel was wonderful, the staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

When I checked into the hotel, they talked me into upgrading my room for $40/night. For that, I got a shower and sink that sprayed muddy water (no joke) with a high shrieking sound coming from the shower head. The water took 5-10 minutes for hot water to come out and it wouldn't drain one bit. After complaining, the only thing they fixed for 2 days was the muddy water. Everything else remained the same (no drainage, cold water, etc..). Needless to say, this was the tenor of my 4 days there. Travelers beware! Do not stay here.

It was close to where my son lives so that is why I chose it. My only complaint is that I could not get the room to cool down to where I wanted it for sleeping. It seemed that the unit was too close to the thermostat. I was upgraded to a suite and that was sweet!

I like the location but found the room a little noisy because its close proximity to the bridge traffic!

If you want glamour and a comfortable environment this is the place for you !

The room was reasonable for New York in terms of size and comfort. It is one block off the East Side Drive. The traffic in the area is heavy. Restaurants are two or three blocks away. The closest subway station is about five blocks away. There are plenty of cabs cruising in the area. The only negative was that I have been given a much more emphatic welcome at other hotels than I received at the front desk. I did not take advantage of any of the hotel conveniences.

Not greatly located since the nearest subway is 5 long blocks away. Since I was aware of that before I booked the hotel, it wasn't unexpected but for those that have never been to NY, this may be a bit of a surprise. I was only disappointed in the fact that on my first night there the elevators broke down for nearly 30 minutes and the stairs were being painted, so you were either stuck upstairs in your rooms or in the lobby. They were using the service elevator to carry food to their restaurant on the top floor and should have immediately stopped that to use the service elevator to carry hotel guests....

Hotel gave me a great room with a million dollar view of the east river and Queensboro bridge. As NYC rooms go, this one was large. The room was very business friendly. I am from NYC originally so I knew the hotel would be an uphill hike to the nearest subway line on Lexington Avenue. But the new F train line is right off 63rd Street and that takes you over to the prime west side stops. The east side lines are also nearby on 60th. And if you need to take a break on your walk, Bloomingdales is also nearby. Closest Starbucks, if thats important, is near the subway lines.

easy access from the FDR; staff was accommodating to our needs; checkout and checkin easy; room service would have been helpful in our situation given that we had an early checkout.

This is my go to hotel on the UES. The rooms are large, have everything you need, always clean and great value for NYC. I wish Internet was included, but for the price, how can you argue.

Bathroom had hair all over tub. No closet space had to use back of bathroom door to hang clothes. Room tiny. No place to put bag to open them! No help getting bags into hotel. Given wrong rm, not what ordered. Unless necessary will not stay here again

Loved the room. Bed was super comfortable. Only Complaints: Room Temp was difficult to control, the shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor and soaked everything.

I enjoyed the hotel and the location was lovely. Close to the East River, for nice long walks or a Ferry ride. And not to far to walk to Central Park and 5th Ave. Wonderful place to be at if you don't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Times Square.

As a woman traveling solo I prefer small hotels. The mid east side was convenient for numerous appointments packed into two days. But the hotel is completely lacking in charm or character. The hallways were dark and foreboding. The room was tiny and did not have sufficient lighting. Water was $7. No Duane reed nearby. No coffee maker. No sewing kit. No nail file. No umbrella. The desk clerk looked blankly at me when I asked for all of the above. My room on third floor overlooked a roof and the street. There was no means of lowering a blind to block the window. The bed was comfy but the rest of the furnishings were too small to be used for much. Insufficient lighting in the room. Cafe downstairs with outdoor seating for morning coffee and bagel worked well. Lobby packed with seating for guests and adjacent bar. Has the bones, location and potential but needs reworking of the concept. And lighting.

Walk to JFK drive for a quick work out , bike ride, or dog walk. Just relax by the water. Easy walk to subway, dinner or the sky tram to Roosevelt Island.

I stayed here for business, I guess the hotel seems to cater to European tourists. Overall it was just ok and I certainly would not call the hotel 4 stars. Rooms were overpriced as well.

Had a corner room on the 10th floor, which did have a closet (another guest told me that interior rooms do not have closets). Good view of the bridge but much of the river view was blocked by a neighboring building. That building appears to stop at the 11th floor, so ask for 12 or higher. Liked the styling of the room, which was in excellent condition, but common areas look a little too nightclub and a bit worn. Staff was polite and friendly. Rooftop view was great; would try the restaurant next time for the view. Great access to FDR Drive entrances and an easy walk to the subway at 59th & Lexington. Would have liked a gym and in-room coffee, but neither available here. Elevators seem to have a mind of their own.

Would stay again

Enjoyed the hotel, clean and roomy. Very good price point. We will stay again.

We chose this hotel due to location, it seemed fairly new and it was on offer on hotels.com. The hotel provided good value for money as hotels in NYC are very expensive. The rooms are quite big, comfortable bed and the location is good (nearest metro is 10-minute brisk walk from hotel). On the downside, the shower was too powerful and felt more like a massage than a shower, wi-fi was not free of charge and it is quite a lot of traffic around the hotel. Overall, average hotel and I would consider staying there at future visits to NYC.

The hotel and staff were great. We asked for an upgrade and they were able to give us a corner room with an incredible view. Room was clean. The walk to the subway was only about 10 minutes and we found the neighborhood around the hotel to feel very safe.

Overall I think the hotel was fine and I would stay there again if I was doing business on the UES for a couple of days. That said, I'm perplexed by the choice of techno music in the lobby and elevators. At 7am? Really, does ANYONE want to listen to that first thing in the morning? Also, while the room did not look dirty, I did find some stray items that suggested that they could take more care: a bobby pin on the floor, a St. Patrick's Day flag stuck in the curtains. Lastly, having to wait a full five minutes before hot water runs through the pipes is awkward. And while I loved that the hotel signals its intention to save on water and energy by letting guests re-use towels, I discovered that my towels were actually taken away and replaced each day. That's fine, but then don't ask me to re-fold my towels if I want to re-use them. It's counter-factual to your brand messaging.

No coffee pot in room. No ice on floors.

Hotel was great but could have robes in the rooms.

Hotel is adequate Lots of traffic because of the 59th street bridge Several blocks from subway Restaurant is kosher and you cannot put it on your hotel bill People are nice friendly and very helpful Shower was excellent Bedding modern and clean

One thing that stood out was that it was really noisy. Perhaps we were just unlucky to have a neighbor in the room next door who did not sleep even at 4:45am and had loud music on. We did have to complain to them directly and the situation was resolved right away. Being in NYC, you will always hear loud trash trucks or sirens...so ask for a higher floor! We were on the 7th. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory. But I probably would not go back there to stay as the location was inconvenient especially with a two year old.

Whoever designed the bathroom has never used it. There was no place to put down my toiletries bag or the hair dryer. A pedestal sink makes no sense in a hotel bathroom. You need places to sptrad out the items that you arer traveling with. Also, to turn on the shower you had to stand in the shower getting your feet splashed with cold water. The glass panel, (in lieu of a conventioal shower curtain) precludes access toe the faucets from outside the tub. Also the towel rack was much too high, and the bathrrom needed an additional towel bar to put the damp towel on. All in all the bth was unsatisfactory for the traveler. I could go on and on about design flaws in the room, but the bathrrom was the worst.

Nice hotel overall. Neighborhood does not have many decent restaurants, you need to walk several blocks, but good for access to hospitals on the eastside. Room was clean but furniture a little worn. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Elevators were very slow

One of the worst nights sleep ever. Extreemly noisy. From the inside doors slamming, the housekeepers chatting and then of course the traffic outside is the worst in the city because of the location. We checked out early.

Hotel decor, service, location all were fantastic. Walk to Bloomingdale's, good/affordable neighborhood restaurants and easy in/out on the FDR. I'd stay again anytime. Compare everything but the price to the W or Gansevort!

Nice, clean and in relatively good location but it should have 3 stars and 25% less espensive

Overall good experience. Very clean and tiday but with shortcomings: No closet or hanging racks to hang our clothes. The dresser /TV stand had drawers that do not close (open up all the time). Also, contrary to the advertisement, no free WIFI in the hotel. It costed us $5.00 to print our boarding passes in the business center.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was very reasonable for NYC, easy walking to Central Park and other great sights. East Side is less popular but we found lots to do there and great places to eat. Upgraded room was clean, bathroom fine, not very big but perfectly fine, room was rather overlooked by other buildings but was such a good size we didn't mind. Restaurant on the top has 1o% reduction for guests for cocktails and incredible views. This'd as a happy stay.
