Love it, the staff made us feel very at home :-)

My stay at The Crescent was if not the best experience I've had at a hotel. As soon as I walked in the front door, Bo the day time concierge could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was plenty big for me, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very well designed. Hanging out with Tristan the resident manager/bartender/cook and Arnold the evening house supervisor, made the experience the best of all. Food was great, drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere at The Crescent was fantastic. Only gripe I would have is the walls are honestly too thin, but I slept through the minimal noise with ease. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I know for sure, when I go back to Beverley Hills, I will be staying at The Crescent. Thanks guys!

Great stay at the Crescent! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and convenient driving to all the sights in LA.

The staff is wonderful and the lobby and bar and patio are super hip and viby.....not sure about the rooms as they are very small and not as plush as i would prefer. But if you don't care about much time in the room, there is something very fun and interesting about the hotel that I'd stay again.....also, note, it can be loud as ceilings and walls are thin.

Was looking for a nice quiet night away. Didn't really happen... First of all the room was so small, the bed was uncomfortable, creaked with every move and slid on the conrete floors. The worst part was thinking we'd be able to sleep in, we were awoken at 7am hearing everything our neighbors were talking about for the next 3 hours. You can hear pretty much every sound from the hallway and surrounding rooms. If you are looking for a peaceful nights rest and relaxation I would not recommend staying the night. The front porch and bar were charming, service staff seemed nice, but the noise just ruined the experience. I highly recommend working on sound proofing the whole hotel. Given other reviews I've read I can tell I'm not the only one that feels this way... that probably says enough!

The rooms are tiny with walls as thin as paper; it was literally a bed, 1ft of walking room around it and a toilet. You'll hear anything from conversations between passerbys on the street to other occupants flushing their toilets or even just opening a door. Our flatscreen tv was also positioned too high to be able to watch from a lying or sitting position from the bed, and the arm behind it wasn't rotatable at all to allow for a better viewing angle; all you'll see are black discolored blobs moving on screen.

This hotel was nice and in a good location. It is well decorated and the staff were helpful with suggestions for places to eat. The valet price is way over the top though as the hotel next door lets you park your car in the exact same lot for a third of the price. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. There is definately a sound proofing issue however which didnt bother me so much as we were up early everyday and out late every night. The walls are sound proofed- no problem there. It's the doors. You can hear if someone is breathing in the hallway, the doors are completely inappropriate for a hotel. They need to be replaced with heavy acoustic doors before I would be able to recommend it. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I thought the place had a charming intimate feel to it. Loved the modern furnishings and finishes both indoors and out. Can cozy up to a glassed in fireplace enjoyed from both indoor and outdoor lounge areas. The shower head had great water pressure and plenty of warm water. Rooms a little on the small side.The hallways lack some personality. Could use better lighting, prettier wall color. Carpet is nondiscript. Location is fabulous, plenty of shops and restaurants within short walking distances.

Aesthetically pleasing, however, if you want to sleep soundly go somewhere else because you hear everything due to paper-thin walls. Also, hotel was hard to find because it looked bigger in the picture, we drove past it at least 3 times using iPhone map application. I would not stay there again. Its pretty but not functional (except for good location).

I always stay at the Crescent when in the Beverly Hills area. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the free continental breakfast is terrific. Downsides are very small rooms with almost no closet space and very expensive parking. The shops and restaurants of Rodeo Drive are only steps away and the patio with outdoor heaters and fireplace are warm and welcoming on cool California evenings.

Hotel is in an excellent location. Everything you would want to do in Beverly Hills is within walking distance. Hotel is very trendy with a cool bar/lounge in the lobby. Hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean, but pretty small. Only things to watch out for are ants and the paper thin walls. If you plan to have an in depth conversation or intimate moment with a significant other, you better not mind sharing it with your neighbors.

Nice little hotel, great location, really friendly staff. Only real issue we had was our bed squeaked if you moved the tiniest little bit, got a bit annoying trying to get over jet lag but I'm not going to complain for the price.

Good points: Very trendy and pretty lobby. Incredible location. Bad points: Poor air conditioning. Bad mattress and bed frame which creaks loudly every time you breathe or move.

Perhaps because the area is so pricey, I got my money's worth, but compared to the hundreds of other hotels I've stayed at, the room was incredibly small and the ants should have been under control for the money I paid. The room was clean and newly decorated, but not very soundproof and the view of the alley wasn't the best.

I stayed twice in this hotel and both times no hot water! I went to their bar to get some hot water and they didn't have any too!

For the price, this place is worth it. Just don't be surprised that your room is tiny. It's cute. I like it.

This was a beautiful little gem in the heart of Beverly Hills. I paid twice as much in Chicago the previous weekend. The room was clean and very upscale. My only observation... I think they put me in one of the first [noisy] rooms because I booked thru Hotels.com, but I was so tired, I just turned on the TV to block the noise of someone stacking bottles, from their outdoor bar, outside of my window. And they really need to get someone to plumb up their door, the bathroom door kept hitting me in the back anytime I used the sink.... and the bathroom was so great and funky - all cement - with a vessel sink... except for the noise and the door I would have rated this one of the best boutique hotels I've ever been to and would definitely stay there again.

The lounge entrance was very cool and the staff was friendly but that's it for the good. The first room they put us in was so small the bathroom door didn't open fully. I get "minimalism" but the beds are so low to the ground, the bathrooms do not feel finished and our headboard squeaked every time we moved. And I say first room because they had to move us when I found ants in our shower.

The room I stayed in was extremely small, dark and deressing. I paid for a "queen superior" which is advertised at being 400sf. It even cost more than the queen standard although I do not know how it could get any smaller. I do not feel I was given the room I paird for because the room I stayed in was no more than 175sf. When I questioned the desk agent he stated that this is all they had. Room was so small and everything sat almost to the ground with only about 12-14 inches all around the bed to walk. I kept hitting my foot so hard and so many times on the low bed platform. The closet was only 14" wide and could not close with a couple suits hanging in it. TV is a 13" flat pannel and there is really no place to work on the computer except the bed. No chair in the room to sit. You have to eat, work and watch TV in the bed. The bathroom was well appointed and modern with concrete floor and shower stall but there were little black ants all over the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and the common facilities were nice and cozy. Excellent location to Beverly Hills shopping.

Nothing beats a great nights sleep, especially when on vacation. However, the air conditioner didn't work in our first room OR our second room. It made our stay very uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy the beauty of the hotel. Each room had an Ipod, which we didn't use. While it was a great addition to the room, we would have rather had a functional a/c unit!! In today's economic pitfalls, we could have spent our money elsewhere, paid half the cost and been completely satisfied. Other than the location to Rodeo Drive, I would not recommend this hotel. If you don't mind sleeping in a hot room, then turn on the Ipod and treat yourself to this Beverly Hills experience!!

This hotel is very trendy and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I loved it and would stay there again!

Outstanding staff.......certainly above and beyond service on all levels.

Saludos. El hotel esta ubicado en Beverly Hills, una zona bonita y tranquila. La habitación muy pequeña, escasamente estaba la cama y un escritorio. El desayuno que ofrecian gratis solo era hasta las 9 a.m. y eran galleticas con pan y café. La atención fué muy amable por parte de las personas que trabajan allí. No lo recomiendo por que la cama no invitaba a un buen descanso y ha sido la peor cama en la que hemos dormido de todos los hoteles en los que estuvimos. Es un hotel que aunque no es tan barato, parece mas un hostal en un barrio lujoso.

Litt smårufsete. Prøver å være et kult sted, nærmest et designhotell, men lykkes ikke. For trangt, personlet blir for "nært", for dyrt, knirkende senger, maten i restauranten falt ikke i smak..nope..kommer ikke tilbake.
