Rooms are a little small but clean. Staff is great. Location is great. La Flora is great for a short stay. Especially if you don't plan on being in the room that much

Spent two nights at the end of a 2 week tour of Gulf Coast. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful and very accomodating. Beach is just few minute walk and lots of places to eat close by. Ocean Drive also minutes away so no need to use the car. The hotel is Art Deco period and has lots of character very pleasant to eat breakfast there. The room was contemporary design, very clean and bright and lovely comfy bed. Would recommend staying here.

The hotel location is great it is in walking distance of the beach all the stores in the restaurants. The hotel itself the rooms are very small very clean the very small. The breakfast they serve was not good at all they ran out a number of things and was only a small amount of people Eating every morning

I stayed at La Flora hotel for a long weekend in early March and was very satisfied!!! My room was clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and the location was great. I had friends that stayed at higher end hotels and my room was definitely the nicest of the bunch. The hotel lobby and patio was very busy in the evenings with both guests and non guest hanging out at the bar, but that cleared out at midnight once the bar closed. I didn't mind that because it's the heart of South Beach and it's to be expected. I would definitely stay here again, a great value for the money!!!

This hotel is small but our room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom isn't especially modern, but it was fine. Nothing to complain about--good water pressure and the fixtures were in good shape. Our room was at the back corner on the top floor, so we didn't have any noise issues. I don't know if others do, but I suspect anything close to the bar or the street side would deal with more noise. The valet parking was seamless. We arranged for our car to be out front early on the day of our departure and it was there ahead of time, which made life very easy. The breakfast was a little sparse in offerings, but what they did offer was of good quality. They had hard boiled eggs which are great for someone who hates eating sugary bread in the morning. It was GREAT that they offered complementary towels for the beach too, as we didn't have any. Overall, I'd recommend La Flora. It was a bit pricey, but for the location and for staying in an art deco building, the cost was competitive. We had fun.

Fantastic service, very helpfull staff, perfect location.

Water leaking through lobby ceiling when we arrived...guest left toilet overflow...so not hotel's fault. Bar area was separate from hotel...communication problem with bar personnel with pricing...specials etc. Desk personnel very nice and helpful. Breakfast server very nice. Cost of room not worth what we paid. I feel price should have been like $100 less due to age and guirkiness of room arrangement. Door to bathroom inhibited sink use use when open. Bath tub was difficult to get into due to stationery glass door attached to tub. Water pressure was not great. Good location in South Beach area.

Charming old-style hotel situated in heart of section I was wanting to see as I enjoy art-deco. like a step back in time. very clean, good breakfast, VERY pleasant staff wanting to please. I left a bag uncollected in my room after checking out and housekeeping staff immediately notified me via e-mail. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere. RECOMMEND!

King Size room is my home away from home. One thing...beware the new "efficient" toilets. Mine got backed up and I didn't do anything unusual. Other than that, perfect location and right in the mix without being on the very loud main strip.

La Flora was a lovely old but well kept up hotel. The staff was terrific, the place was spotless. The bed was old and horribly uncomfortable. We only stayed one night so we did not change rooms although the staff was willing to accommodate. Great location and central to the nightlife and beach.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The local was perfect. The staff was very responsive and pleasant.

Good service. Good location. Renovated rooms. The old lobby doesnt do the rooms justice.

+ super service, good location, mostly clean rooms (dirty when you turned the faucet knob, other then that clean) - only one face towel, guess if we would have asked, they brought us another one, cheap, bouncy beds, not so comfty!

Perfect location, midway south beach, 1 street up from Ocean Dr;(close to beach, restaurants & clubs) Customer service was excellent from the valet service (car brought around quickly when requested. it did not matter what time of day/night), front desk (everyone was pleasant & helpful..one person even let me use his personal cell phone to make a long distance call as I did not have a calling card). The room was a little on the small side but it never felt closed-in. Bathroom was functional w/ dated decor (aqua green tiles in tub area). Continental breakfast served daily in lobby/bar area, was satisfactory. would return there to stay longer on next visit.

Enjoyed our stay. Close to everything (I mean it) and reasonably priced. Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is sparse at best. Plan to stay here again.

La Flora hotel is recently renovated and includes a bar, valet parking (only $20/day), and the luxury of Miami Beach only a block away. The service was very good as we felt very welcome, while also being close to all of the Miami action. I would definitely stay here again, if necessary!

Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and quite large. We were 2 blocks from the So-Be Food and Wine Festival, which was great. Only complaint was our room was on the north side of the hotel, which is a pay by the hour parking lot. It was very loud. Car alarms going off, people yelling, etc. Next time I will request a room on the south side of the hotel.

The hotel was recently updated. We were put in a room in the back corner of the hotel which had views of walls only. When we requested a change, the manager (Taryn) put us in a nice suite. She was very helpful in all ways. The only complaint we had was a sewer gas odor. The management which is new is very good and the lobby of the hotel is original art deco.

The hotel is very close to all-beach, shopping. Does not have parking. The appearance is shabby, but clean. For the price, service could have been better in regards to room appearance. One picture on the wall and one lamp. Toilet seat was broken, no iron/ironing board, furnishings needed a serious upgrade. The staff was very friendly, polite and available when needed. Wasn't bad but could have been alot better.

Nära stranden. Dock väldigt lyhört, vi fick ett rum mot parkeringen och liv utanför störde. Annars ett helt okej övernattningshotell med bra läge.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis Direkt nebenan Parkplatz .Gute Lage zum Ocean Drive und Strand. Ca. 20 min fahrt von Airport bei normalem Verkehr. Freundliches Personal. Standardzimmer für 2 -3 Nächte vollkommend ausreichend

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis wenn über Internet gebucht. Direkt nebenan Parkplatz welcher günstiger als Valet parking ist, da von 03:00 -09:00 kostenfrei, Vorrausgesetzt man fährt unter Tags mit dem Auto und stellt es gegen abend wieder ab. Wurde uns auch vom Personal so empfohlen.Gute Lage zum Ocean Drive( 3 min zu Fuß) und Strand. Ca. 20 min fahrt von Airport bei normalem Verkehr. Freundliches Personal. Standardzimmer für 2 -3 Nächte vollkommend ausreichend.

ÓTIMO hotel! Localização excelente, perto da Espanola e Lincoln road (algumas quadras, dá pra ir andando tranquilamente) e a um quarteirão da praia. Tem tudo perto. Quarto muito confortável, bom café da manhã, drinks de boas-vidas, toalhas para usar na praia. Excelente serviço, voltaremos!

Hotellet var ok! Låg bra! Sköna sängar! Bra boende om man bara ska sova där. Frukosten var sådär.

L'accueil et le service que nous avons eu sont tout simplement de très haute qualité. L'hotesse était très agréable et de bon conseil. L'hotel était propre, bien situé, avec, bien sur, une décoration art déco, le lit confortable. De plus l'hotel propose un forfait parking intéressant à Miami. Les points négatifs sont la vue de notre chambre donnant sur un parking public, les décibels nocturnes du quartier, le manque de séche-cheveux dans la chambre, le petit déjeuner un peu lèger et pris dans les fauteuils du bar de l'entrée de l'hotel

O hotel é bem localizado, porém, muito antigo e precisando de alguns reparos. O chão faz muito barulho, o chuveiro é ruim, o ar condicionado não era bom, não tinha frigobar no quarto e nem água para beber.

Only good thing is the location. Vallet parking for 20 dollars. Very awful breakfasy for 6 dollar per person. Go to the street next to the beach for more decent breakfast. Wifi only in the lobby. No drinkable water offered.
