Mayfair Hotel - دبي

A terrible experience. Will give you a smokers room with no windows unless you explicitly reserve non-smoking up-front. Take 30+ min. to get room key. Even in the late evening. Whole first floor is uninhabitable because of the extremely loud discotheque in the Lobby. The alternative room I was given had fake nails from a prostitute lying on the floor and the carpet was full of cigaret burning holes and it was dirty inspire of having been prepared for a guest. Even the bell boy acknowledged this. Management inflexible in trying to compensate for extremely poor standard. Never go - NEVER!

The hotel is good for its price and rating.The high point isits location which is quite convenient for shopping and other interests. However I found the front office staff quite dour. Internet connection was virtually non existent in the three days. All the same I recommend the hotel as a good value for money option.

Im a frequent traveller and this hotel is a typical 3 star hotel. It wasnt trashy and clean enough for a 3 star hotel. Its not really on Al Rigga Rd, but on one of the streets leading to Rigga Rd; about a three minute walk. Although not free, the Internet (very important to me) didnt work. When I asked for IT support at about 4:30 PM, they said that they'd they'll call me back. They didnt. When I called again they said the technician isnt there and will be back later on at night around 9-10 PM. I could tell things werent going to get better and went down to the lobby, booked another hotel (4 stars this time), and checked out. I got a refund for what I paid for Internet. Otherwise the rate was good, the location wasnt exactly central or right on Al Rigga, but Al Rigga Rd was a few minutes away (walking) and they had a mini market rightin front of the hotel. They had a nightclub but since I checked out early im not sure what the scene is like at night. They also held my passport as a form of a "guarantee" although the room was already paid for. I didnt ask for any but they didnt offer other options. In summary, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay its a reasonable choice in my opinion. If you care much about the quality of service you get, look for another hotel.

Well patronted hotel with lots of Russian tourists. Staff overworked but polite. Breakfast mediocre, simple and adequate. Rooms clean but well used, rest of hotel needs a spring cleaning! Convenient with 24 HR eats and proximity to airport. Will stay here again based on price paid

The hotel has been demoted to three star by the Dubai authorities and it is easy to see why. Heavy smoking has forced the hotel management to perfume every corner of the place. Not my favorite. The roof top pool closes already at 6 pm making it useless for business visitors. Breakfast quality was very poor with little choice and dry bread. Front desk personnel seemed to hate there job. 500 meters walking distance to the Metro which is a plus. Internet coverage in the hotel was very good with antennas every 20-30 meters in the corridors. Recommended if you just need to sleep and don't care about breakfast or a lot of perfume.

The hotel was OK. Not great, not horrible. The room was overall clean, but the hotel needs a renovation. Fine for a 1 night stay .

This was closer to a two star hotel , definetly not a four Star. Had trouble getting a room, had to wait six hours. Gave us a smoking room, when they swore to us it was non-smoking. It was very dirty, no hot water and like a sweat box. It was close to the airport, but no shops or resteurants nearby. Bad, service, bad attitudes of employees , made it one of our worst stays we have ever had.

Et ganske udemærket hotel, fin beliggenhed tæt på metro og tæt på lufthavnen.

Ho soggiornato al Mayfair con mio figlio per una notte, al rientro dalla vacanza in Ghana. L'hotel è vicino all'aeroporto, a breve distanza dalla piazza dell'orologio e dalla fermata del metrò rosso n. 17 Rigga. La clientela è prevalentemente locale (araba ) e russa. Eravamo gli unici italiani. Abbiamo prenotato una doppia deluxe con colazione a buffet inclusa per una tariffa molto conveniente. Il check in è di norma previsto per le 14. Noi siamo arrivati alle 7.30 e alla reception, gentilissimi, ci hanno dato comunque la stanza e invitato a fare colazione. La stanza, spaziosa e ben arredata ha due letti a una piazza e mezza. Il bagno pure spazioso e pulito, con mia grande sorpresa, aveva anche il bidet :) Piccoli nei: moquette in stanza con qualche macchia, il paralume di una lampada strappato e una stuccatura alla vasca da bagno da sistemare. Colazione a buffet molto ricca, anche se, per mancanza di tempo, abbiamo preso un paio di brioches al volo per poter raggiungere la spiaggia di Dubai Marina, grazie al servizio gratuito di bus navetta messo a disposizione dall'albergo con partenza ore 8.30 e rientro alle 12.30.... sembrava un poco di stare in gita aziendale ma per una mattinata in spiaggia va più che bene... Abbiamo chiesto alla reception di poter usare la camera oltre l'orario di check out ( le 12) per finire di preparare le valigie e lavarci e ci è stato concesso senza ulteriori costi. Unica pecca.. la connessione internet ( a pagamento!) orribile! Il wifi non funziona nelle stanze e l'unico computer a disposizione nella hall dell'albergo è lentissimo e non dotato di stampante. Per poter effettuare un check in online ci ho impiegato mezz'ora e di stampare la pagina neanche parlarne! .. Alla fine un impiegato dell'albergo ha messo il file da stampare su una chiavetta e lo ha stampato dalla reception. L'albergo in generale non è male, ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo anche se, come detto, necessita di qualche piccola miglioria. Ci tornerei comunque e lo c

Meget lav standart, ikke særlig imødekommen i receptionen, meget dårlig morgenmad og service af personalet, bestilt 3 værelser med balkon,fik kun et værelse med balkon,meget larm på hotellet, Burde ikke have mere en 1 stjerne.
