very good value for money and very good staff

The Rosenburg Hotel's service is simply second-to-none. The rooms are pristine and very comfortable. Within easy walking distance to all the local attractions, the rooms are large and very comfortable to return to! Quirky decor and details will be an attraction to the traveller seeking quality accommodation that's very affordable. The only minor criticism I would provide is the lighting in the hotel is very odd indeed- however having stayed a few places since I can understand it's an energy conservation thing- however all the hall lights are switched off in the evening, one must turn them one when necessary, also, one must enter a darkened lift and wait for the light to flick on with a sensor. This was slightly disconcerting. Travelling alone can be irksome enough! However overall a really lovely, cosy, comfortable place and Bruges is such a wonderful place to visit.

Overall it was nice, the only bit was double bed is actually 2 x joined beds

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location was not right in the middle of the attractions, but was definitly in a 10 minute walking distance traveleing with our 1 year-old son and 3 year-old daughter. The room was surprisingly large and the lady at the desk was exceptionally nice. The next day during checkout the man was a little more directive and not as nice, but the facility was worth it. Also, I was able to park on the outside of the hotel on a safe street for free. Just had to put the blue parking time on the dash. Breakfast was excellent! Typial European style breakfast, but this included scrambled eggs, bacon, and beans. A bonus compared to most.

we loved hotel. Family room was huge and comfortable. breakfast was great. Nice residential neighborhood. Woman at front desk amazing. taxi to and from train station well worth 10 euro. would definitely stay there again

Loved everything about the hotel except the restaurant/room service not keeping its stated hours. Comfortable room, great view, easy walk to town center.

Great hotel. A lovely room!

First Class Hotel in excellent and convenient location for a fraction of the price of the competitors. Made to feel very welcome and can certainly recommend the experience to anyone. Bruges is a city with an amazing heritage of architecture and art; not to forget the visiting exhibition of the 'Pleurants' at the Hospital Museum. Thank you to all at the Rosenburg, especially Anne, for making our stay so enjoyable. David & Carole.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent room and facilities including bar fridge and tea/coffee making. Very good breakfast which was included. Only complaint was lack of air conditioning which made it rather hot for sleeping.

Great staff and excellent rooms. Our stay at the Rosenburg made our trip to Bruges that much better.

Very pleasant hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very good breakfast with a variety of foods. Easy walking distance to center and markt of town. Parking is no longer included but free parking is on street in front of hotel at 4 hours at a time. The rooms are quite large for European hotels. But no air conditioning.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We had a room on the top floor. This hotel is a short walk to the main square. Many restaurants and shops within a ten minute walk. The hotel faces a canal. We were able to park the car across the street, half a block from the hotel. You will need a blue disk for parking. Our room was quiet, spacious, with a great view. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations and was served in a bright greenhouse type room. Ours hosts were very helpful, providing maps and directions.

I spent more money to book a better room, Canal View Room, for three nights. When we enter the room, we found roof windows have been opened widely and we still could smell ammonia filled the air. horrible...Luckily, there is still a better room available and the hotel let us to change. However, we can find the 2nd room curtains is very dusty...The room also have strange stuffy smell.

After a very long and painful drive across Germany, we arrived late at this hotel (around midnight). Despite the bar etc all being shut, we thought we'd ask if there was any chance of a hot chocolate - the manager was so accomodating. He swiftly brought us up a big jug of hotchocolate and assorted chocolates to go with. Such a nice, friendly feel to the place which really made our evening after such a horrendous journey. The brunch the next morning was fantastic and altogether, the whole experience of this hotel was brilliant. Thoroughly recommend.

situated slightly out of the main town - about 10 minutes easy walk - but still within the city canal boundary. the plus to this is that it is really quiet. the breakfast is a must and seemed very popular. the staff were pleasant and helpful, pointing out directions and places to see. the decor of the room is a bit dated/plain but the bed was very comfy and it was more than adequate for our needs. the bathroom was a good size with a full bath and overhead shower. parking is on the road outside and you purchase a badge €2.50 which you then set for 4hrs at a time. the hotel staff will re set it for you if you ask. there didn't appear to be an evening meal in the hotel but there are ample restaurants nearby and an especially fine one just across the canal. overall a nice weekend break

Very friendly and pleasant staff, clean room and hotel.

This is a great little hotel in a residential neighborhood in Bruges, but a short walk to the middle of the city. The service was excellent and the rooms were comfortable at a reasonable price.

A little expensive for the quality of the hote,

This hotel is more like a B&B but a hotel. Nevertheless it is a gem in the wide arena of accomodations in Bruges: Clean, spacious, nice views onto the canal and a rich breakfast. It is only 10 min by foot along the canal into the busy and with tourists crowded inner quarter. Hence you sleep somehow hidden and undisturbed off the beaten tracks We will come again!

Excellent hotel on the outskirts of old town(10 minute walk) Great Bang for a sagging US Buck. Wonderful Breakfast- Friendly Staff- Parking available. Laundermat around the corner. Canal View Too good to be true. Stay during the week and avoid the throng of tourists. Nice retreat from them during the day. Liked it so much we stayed an extra day

Nice hotel - good price - great breakfast worth the money and very close to all the sights in Brugge - love the canal views and most of the people we dealt with were OUTSTANDING! Note Most! Other than the one grumpy hotel clerk the entire stay was perfect.

I was in Bruges for an over night stay and was pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While not very fancy, the room was clean and spacious with the advertised view of a canal. it is possible to spend unlimited amounts of money on accomodation in Bruges, but this one was a very good value for the money. The location is on the edge of the city center but still in easy walking distance to attractions, restaurants and the market.

We stayed here March 25 thru 29 and loved this hotel. It's a short walk (I would say less than 10 minutes) from most of the major sites, including the Bell Tower, but far enough away to be quiet. We felt very safe in the neighborhood (and in Bruges in general for that matter) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we were able to sleep well. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about this hotel and would highly recommend it!

We stayed in Room 2, on the ground floor within what appeared to be a new extension, for 2 nights. The room was a good size, with a smart en suite (bath with shower over). Only negative was the bed: two large singles pushed together, which separated immediately as there is no covering on the wooden floor. We solved it by putting the bed bases and mattresses at right angles to each other. Located 10 minutes walk from the centre and close to a number of nice and reasonably priced restaurants.

Our room was VERY large, the staff was excellent and friendly, the free breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the location was a few blocks from all the main attractions. Book with confidence!

This was a great place to stay! Located within easy walking distance of city center, but far enough away from lots of tourists/noise at night. The bus from the train station drops you off right in front! Front desk staff were beyond helpful and the breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and the bathroom could actually be used as a sauna. The only thing was no A/C so the room could get a little stuffy, but we would certainly stay here again.

The Hotel Rosenbug is a comfortable hotel close to the centre of Bruges. Large comfortable bedroom, but beware there is noise from the road if the weather is hot, as the bedrooms do no have air conditioning. The breakfast is good, as are the staff who were helpful. This hotel is probably nearer 3 star than 4 star due to the lack of air conditioning and swimming pool, but overall a very comfortable hotel at a good price.

Excellent location for walking into town, convenient parking outside the hotel. Reception staff wonderful, willing to help in any way they can. Rooms clean and confortable, ours had a lovely view across the canal. Good quality breakfast, complimentary tea/coffee all afternoon in reception.

Hotellet ligger ok i Brugge. 10-15 min gang til de store seværdigheder. Personalet er søde og værelserne ok. Dog er hotellet lidt dyrt i forhold til værelsesstandarden.

L'hôtel est bien situé, près du centre ville (5mn à pied) et nous avons pu stationner le long du canal à proximité de l'hôtel grâce à un disque de stationnement que l'hôtel nous a vendu (et non prêté !) à 2.50€ ! Sinon, la propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer, la moquette et l'ensemble de la chambre est défraîchi. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le plateau d'accueil, car, horreur, du café séché était dans les tasses retournées sur le plateau ! Le petit déjeuner était moyen en qualité mais copieux dans le choix. Sinon, le personnel est aimable mais, au global, le prix est trop élevé en rapport qualité/prix.

Très bon hôtel, situé très proche du centre ville.propre et calme. Personnel très accueillant. seul bémol, pas de climatisation dans les chambres. l'hotel est à conseiller tout de même !

Hôtel très calme, accueil sympa. Notre chambre était très spacieuse , déco un peu passée de mode, mais vue agréable,12 minutes du centre à pied. A conseiller !!

Mycket sevärd vistelse. Trevlig stad med god mat. Fantastisk sightseeing under alla dessa fina broar.

Hoewel parkeren op straat gratis is betekent het wel dat je de parkeerkaart elke 4 uur moet verstellen. (4 uur is maxiaal toegestane parkeerduur) . Als je Brugge lopend wil verkennen moet je dus elke 4 uur terug naar het hotel wandelentussen 9 uur en 20 uur.Dit is voor een echtpaar van 74 en 79 jaar een zware belasting.Waarom levert het hotel geen dagkaart voor zijn gasten?Dit is het enige minpunt van ons bezoek.

Ne mérite pas 4 etoiles.Dans le prix une taxe et prevu pourquoi une taxe de 4€ de plus pour une nuit et 2 perssones.

Pas de parking mais stationnement facile à proximité de l'hotel demander un disque de stationnement à l'accueil à votre arrivée. Trés bon accueil petit déjeuner copieux chambre spacieuse mais 2 lits simples et non un lit double hotel situé dans un quartier trés calme et à proximité du centre Hotel qui correspond plus à un 3 étoiles que 4

시내 관광지와의 거리도 적당하고 호텔도 정말 친절 하고 호텔 앞에 조그만 강가가 있어서 조망도 정말 좋았음. 호텔 방도 넓고 조식도 만족스러운 수준 이였음. 프론트에서 관광 지도 및 중요 정보 들을 상세히 잘 가르쳐 주어 관광 하는데 정말 편했음.
