Marina Mandarin - سنغافورة

Too short of stay. Needed 4 days to experience more of the sites, people & History.

Third time staying at this Hotel. Its located across the Suntec Convention Center. Near many shopping centers. Great place to stay for business or leisure. Will stay here when I return.

The switch for the central light surrounding the TV was broken so we couldn't turn out the light. The staff couldn't seem to repair it.

The main atrium is amazing, a fantastic space to sit and chill out. They were happy to serve us a snack and drink even though we arrived just as the lounge bar had finished food service at half past midnight. We had been delayed and were only staying one night they immediately offered to extend our check out time for the next day so we could enjoy a dip in the pool before leaving. The room was spacious and modern with a great view over the marina bay. Good position too.

The location was perfect for a buiseness trip to attend a conference but not so good in terms of the hotels attitude to guests. Staff were generally off hand and dismissive. For the price paid I think better holiday hotels can be found.

I don't think hotels get any better than this one....although a bit pricey for the "little people" like me!

The Hotel is in a great area and the ambience and service is good. The Hotel has TV's that are from the 50's! Bad reception adn the On-Demand channels are a joke. Buy soem HD TV's and upgrade your On-Demand. The movies have been the same for months. This alone would prevent me from returning...

nice location and very clean. My only complaint is that there is no free wi-fi.

Hotel is walking distance to Marina Bay Sands, Boat Key and Clarce Key, Raffles and Chimes as well as downtown shopping. Calculate half hour for checking in/out - staff is working tidy but enormously slow. With suchhigh hotel rates it is a shame to pay extra for wifi in your room. Not good enough to state wifi is free in lobby, as there is no privacy. Food in Italian restaurant was splendid!

Location is great. Easy access from Airport. Connected to multiple malls. The malls had many restaurants, shopping, movies, and even MRT even though I never took the subway--it was next to hotel. Doorman was always helpful in getting taxis.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location. Excellent value. Ask for a high floor room with view to Marina Sands and Singapore Flyer.

will stay in this hotel again. location of the hotel is the best, very close to everything i need: shopping, esplanade, and the centre. staff friendly and always happy to help. room was very convenient, appliances in clean and good order. i will sugest this hotel to my friends.

Well located and ideal location for convention centre. Decor dated and no complimentary wifi. Otherwise pleasant stay

Good location and amazing atrium lobby BUT no proper health club, so no facilities that one would expect in a 5* hotel, ie steam/sauna etc, UNLESS you are willing to pay 25S$ + in order to use the sauna of the in-house health club! also 2 S$+ to print out each page in black and white from an email makes "checking in online" cost at least 10 S$ (£5) by the time one has paid for the minimum time in the business centre + the print out!. Acup of tea and one non alcoholic drink in the bar = 30 S$ (£15) there are better places to stay in Singapore. I felt I was being overcharged at every turn.

Initial rack rate / standard room`s bathroom had a large area of black mold in shower and smaller areas on underside of washbasin rim & bath. Took digital photographs to Duty Manager and was immediately upgraded to an excellent premium room overlooking the harbour on the 19th floor. Room scoring above based on first room. Apart from the above we found this an excellent hotel. Staff were smart, friendly and obliging; breakfasts and restaurants were excellent; reception areas, cafe lounge areas very spacious and relaxing with good decor. Nice touch was "T" lights on tables in evenings. Convenient location for harbour front, Singapore flyer & quay side retaurants.Apart from our one issue we enjoyed our stay very much & would definitely consider booking again.

We were not satisfied with Marina Mandarin. They did not have the rooms available we requested,,,no connecting rooms...Also one of the rooms had a constant drip from the a/c unit that kept my son and his family awake at night.....It was not fixed until the final day at the hotel so out of 3 nights they only slept good one night....also, the carpet was very dated and did not seem all that clean. They did have a nice reception area and enjoyed the birds singing in the morning...Also good locations to shopping and not far from Sentosa Island

This is one of the best hotels in the area that offers everything what is needed: great room, facilities, location and service. All for reasonable price.

Location and environment are good. I did not eat beakfast because early flight. Clean rooms and good service. Normal room rate a bit too expencive, but using special offers then ok.

Love the hotel, and the location. Only thing that bothers us is the "Wifi" situation. I find it kinda annoying for such a fine 4 star hotel to have the customer (us) to call in every day for a password to use the "Wifi". And the "Wifi" usage is only LIMITED to ONE electronic equipment per usage in addition to LIMITED 10 hour usages. Once you have pass 10 hours the hotel will charge a fee. I have been to plenty of hotels around the world and never have I come across such "cumbersome" process to excess "Wifi" in the 21st century we live in. I would highly advise the Hotel Management to upgrade their "Wifi" excess in par with the rest of the Hotel world.

View is perfect. The carpet is dirty. A bit disappointed for a 5 star hotel

No airport shuttle, breakfast overpriced. Fabulous view, very central.

Arrived very early around 8am from a very long fligth,we were checked in almost at once and we were so glad for it and got upgraded to a suite at no extra cost,the staff we're so helpful,got all the info we needed,will gladly recommend the hotel and will surely stay there again.....

Nice hotel, but I didn't get the birds in the lobby waking people up..

bath room was so dirty, got a mouldy smell, black mould in the corner and flies.

The Marina Mandarin put on a sensational show for new years eve, the balloon drop especially was absolutely spectacular! The hotel staff were wonderful! I definitely plan to come back to the Mandarin for our next new years eve party!

Had a fabulous time in this lovely hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel is very nice and in a great location. The showers in the hotel room are quite basic. Mine in particular was broken,which subsequently smacked me in the head during a shower. Maintenance couldn't fix it - so I was moved to a smaller room. Thanks for that! Service at the lobby is very slow and very under staffed so please be patient. The meals in a the lobby lounge are reasonably - but $12 ++ for a coffee?? The beds are firm and hard and the remote in my room didn't work properly but I was too tired to complain. Given that it is an atrium - the music from the lobby filters into the rooms

Should not let the customers waiting and standing.

My family and I stayed at this hotel last Dec. 25 - 30, 2011. Location of the hotel is very convenient for my family and I and the service upon our check in was very efficient. Much to our delight, we were upgraded to the premium floor! However, when my son and I checked into our room ( i had booked 2 rooms for my 3 sons and myself), i found our room not quite clean. the mirror beside the bed was very dirty - full of handprints and smudges. I requested for a cleanup the next day which they did. We had a nice view of the Esplanade which is one of hte reasons we chose the Marina Mandarin. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect for our December holiday. would recommend this hotel to our friends.

What you get at this hotel is basic. Standard comfort, standard everything... but the service is less than standard. A long, snaking line-up just to check-in and check-out! Took me over an hour to check-in and 25 mins to check out! I called for help with my TV and was left with a busted remote control - had to really press hard to channel up. My thumb got sore, so i left the TV alone. Room service- the clerk did not know the soup of the day and did not offer to go find out. She wanted to end the conversation there. I had to ask her to find out and call me back. Would i go back? ONLY, if i find it at a great sale price/discount. I loved the location and especially the big shopping mall attached to the hotel. Great restaurants and shoe stores!

Price is quite competitive. Reservation process is also simple and easy. Everything is clear.

We had a beautiful stay there the only disappointing part is that they did not clean the room on the 2nd day which is not nice to come back to your room.

Couldn't ask for a better location in Singapore. If only we had arrived during the day, and not 5 hours late due to the late arrival of our flight in, we would have seen just how close we were to the City Center. MTR station 2 minutes walk, and fantastic shopping mall adjacent to the hotel. The Hotel had a stunning foyer with floor to roof open atrium, which was enhanced with the Christmas decorations. Our Balcony had a fantastic outlook over to City Hall and the Arts Center.

Very nice hotel with pleasant staff. Conveniently located to MRT.

This was an excellent hotel and central to everything. Five minute walk to the quays. Shops directly under the hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent value and well worth it.

The Hotel is so fine and the service is very good. But you have to pay for the internet.
