Grand Hotel Majestic - بولونيا

we enjoyed a lot this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff is professional and friendly. The only thing I don't recommand is the massage service.

I stay at hotel 3 nights. The Hotel was wonderful. The hotel in situated central of Bologna, all shops and place to see are just few minutes by walk. Hotel service was excellent what you cannot see every day life. The breakfast was so good as well, plenty of choices,nice fresh fruits and if you fancy glass of champange. We had 2 rooms and both of them was decorated differently so you feel that you have your unique room. In the evening you will find a little chocolate box next to your bed which was nice suprise. Beds are big and confortable and rooms are quiet so it was nice to sleep there after walking all day long in Bologna. In overall the atmosphere was harmonious and luxury. I would like to visit here again!

From the moment I arrived at the first step of the hotel Grand Majestic, I was greeted by a most helpful doorman who insisted on taking my bags up the stairs for me which was wonderful because I had walked all the way from the station at night and was very tired. Everyone was amazing, kind, helpful, in a good mood and as soon as I gave them my last name they immediately informed me that my friend was waiting for me in the bar. Everyone took care of me as though I was the ONLY person in the entire hotel which of course wasn't the case because they were busy night and day. The room was fantastic, I had no problem accessing the internet from my laptop while sitting in bed. It was a beautiful room with all the amenities of home. Before even getting to my room the gorgeous wide hallway was filled with the scent of fresh flowers and a table of such was situated right in the middle just like home. The day after I arrived I went shopping all day and the minute, once again, I arrived at the hotel with all my new purchases, the doorman ran to the front door to take everything I had and didn't hesitate to offer to send my things to my room so I can have a rest and a drink at the bar. The bartender was a lovely young man whom was kind enough to bring several little treats for me to try out while sipping my tasty Bloody Mary. It was relaxing and peaceful to say the least. When I checked out, I wanted to hug EVERY single one of the people who worked there because they were sooooooooo attentive every moment of my stay, it was hard to leave. Even my breakfast in bed was 5 star. Not a moment of disappointment did I experience. All the people whom I encountered at the Grand Hotel Majestic answered every question, remembered my name and room number Immediately and treated me as though we had been friends forever. When I return to Bologna this summer, there is no other place for me. This hotel will be the FIRST place I book without a doubt!

We arrived Bologna and the Majestic hotel for a one night stay in June 2011 before continuing south to Tuscany for a two week holiday. The Majestic was a surprisingly wonderful experience. Starting with the extraordinary warm welcome from all staff (doorman, valet parker, receptionist...) - and not in the "stiff and artificial" way that often is the case at luxury resorts elswere in the world. The nice experience continued with getting an upgrade without even asking for it (up two categories to a much more expencive room), - and the room: WOW!!! Super good matresses, wonderful high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linens, marble bathroom, elegant, old world design and furnishing and all the amenities you could wish for, and then some more. Our room had views to the Via Indipendenza, and still we could sleep in absolute silence at night. There is a SPA at the hotel but we didn't try it. The public areas have beautiful decor, flowers, pieces of art and paintings. There is a good restaurant, and a very sleek bar, in the adjecent museum situated in the same building as the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay, but if we were to point out one singular thing it would have to be the bed. We are very picky when it comes to comfort; we sleep on a 20.000 Euro matress at home and fly to Milan or Paris with the sole purpose of buying luxurious bed linens. Still we slept like babies at the Majestic and loved the comfort. We liked the hotel so much that we ended our stay in Tuscany one day earlier just to stay at the Majestic one more time before leaving Italy. And the same happend again: we were upgraded two categories to another huge and luxurious room. Forgot to tell that we had our one year old son with us and all the staff treated him very well, even offered to make a special meal to him at breakfast. Italians in general seem to love children and give them a lot of caring attention.

Hotel er lidt slidt og er nok byens bedste hotel, men lever ikke helt op til fuld luxus

Centraal gelegen in het oude centrum het personeel is behulpzaam en het ontbijt prima. Het aantal sterren kunnen ze niet waarmaken kamers zijn klein en donker alles is wel erg oud. Handdoeken versleten en een gat in mijn laken.
