We booked a 'garden view' room to begin with.....the room itself was small but clean, and even had an ocean and pool view - we were pretty pleased, until we discovered the AC didn't work - at all. After a VERY hot first night, we talked with the front desk folk (VERY nice!!) and decided to upgrade to a 'junior luxury suite' for $50 more a night. What a difference!! It was basically a one-bedroom apartment, complete with kitchen, dining, living and bedroom areas, and a full bath. Extremely clean, beautiful views and quiet. Room 237 - ask for it! We LOVED it, and will be back - someday!! Staff was wonderful everywhere!

Enjoyed our week stay and the entertainment in the evenings was very good. Also, afternoon tea at 4pm was a joy thank you all

There was 3 of us in our early 30s just going away for for a girls trip. The Southern Palms staff was freindly and helpful. The food at the hotel was good. We ate one meal a day there everyday. Mahi Mahi sandwhich and salads were great. The hotel was right on the beach and walking distance to everything (restaurants, nightlife and grocery stores). You can get everything you need (suntan lotion, shampoo, etc) right down the street.

Location of hotel is good, near restaurants, clubs. Great beach. The hotel building is quite worn, and the rooms are just ok. Staff is good except front desk. First impressions are poor.

This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for... A cozy, non pretentious resort where the staff were professional and seeking to help, and a location that had beautiful beaches and easy accessibility to everything we could want. The only thing was the beds were a little too soft for our liking, but we like firm beds, and that is probably not an issue for other folks.. Overall, a wonderful trip.

We love this hotel. This was our second stay there, we liked it so much the first time that we finally decided to repeat the trip. The beach is private and quiet although the area of St. Lawrence Gap offers plenty of restaurants and other hotels -- despite the active tourism in that part of the island, the Southern Palms hotel feels private and quiet. We had a wonderful time - great weather, good service, very relaxing. Love the mini golf and pools! Thanks!

j' ai un fait un séjour à cette hôtel en 1998, je suis revenu au mois d'août 2010, le personnel accueillant, la qualité de l'hôtel excellant, hôtel pied dans l'eau une très belle plage, bien placé, restaurent, casino, libre service, location voiture, aux environs de l'hôtel, après 12 ans, la qualité de l' hôtel au niveau du service hôtelier n'a pas changé, je vous conseille cette hôtel vous serez pas déçu.

O Hotel é ótimo mas o afé da manhã não está incluso na diária (não havia essa opção na Hotel.com). Se nós (um casal) decidíssemos tomar o café no hotel, ele custaria 40% da diária. Muito caro!
