Great experience, comfortabe bed and large bathroom. Room servic was efficient and courteous. Restaurnt was great with fresh produce and knowledgable waiting staff try the Jack Daniels speciality drink.

Great place to stay Location Food Staff Friendliness Romantic

All the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant and bar was great. It was within walking distance to everywhere. We had a great stay and can't wait to go back!

LOVED it, all the little extras were so nice!!!.it was conveniently located to walk around to all the fun downtown. The food at Capitol Grill is delicious and the rooms are fantastic...would highly recommend this Hotel, it is my favorite place in Nashville to stay.

The architectual details of this hotel in Nashville are spectacular. No other hotel in Nashville can compare to the elegance and beauty of this hotel. An early 1900's era, gorgeous charmer. The lobby, veranda, down stairs restaurants, bar and bathrooms are all meticulously beautiful. The vaulted ceilings, huge marble columns and archways, raised panel wood walls, were all part of the details of the 1920's decor. Viewing the painted ceilings, sculptures and stained glass in the lobby and veranda was like looking at Michelangelo's artwork, simply breath- taking. Our room was large; it had 10 foot ceilings and a view of the captial building. Our bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Originally we had a regular room with no view but they upgraded our family to a room with a view because it was my birthday. Our all-marble bathroom was large, elegant and beautiful. The doorman, the bag boy, the front desk and the concierge were very personable. They all payed special attention to my 6 year old daughter, which I appreciated. When we come back to Nashville, there is no other place to stay but at the Hermitage Hotel.

Fantastic & friendly service!

The Hermitage is a beautiful hotel. It is in a great location for access to many great restaurants and bars with wonderful country music. My only reservation with the hotel is during the "turn-down" service they spray a lavender scent. I am highly allergic to the spray and smell. The staff provided another room for us yet I could still smell the lavender scent in the new room. One should also note that over night parking is an additional $20.00 charge.

We loved it. We got to walk to everywhere we needed to go from the hotel. our stay was too short; we will be back. Very clean.

The hotel is excellent in every way! The staff were well trained and personable. The hotel itself is so beautiful! The rooms are very large and the beds were SO comfortable! The food.....oh my gosh.....dining is a "food experience"!!! The menu is large but not overwhelming. You must try the oysters! The most perfect I have ever tasted! The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and desert is amazing! I haven't had such a perfect night's stay in years!

This hotel is outstanding,

It was just okay. Elevators are antiquated and old. Food from room service is not good. Most of the service is polite, however inconsistent. They smother you when you arrive. There were some children in the room next to us making a lot of noise on our second night and the walls must be paper thin because it was very loud.

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is five star in every way. Staff members were very well trained, the hotel is lovely, and the room was extremely comfortable. When we needed our car the valet got in there in very reasonable time.

I loved everything about my stay at The Hermitage. The location was perfect -within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and souvenir shopping. The food at the onsite restaurant was fabulous, the room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with all the "extras", and the service was amazing!! It is worth the marginal additional cost per night from surrounding chain hotels such as the Sheraton or Courtyard.

Excellent hotel. Superior service.

We love Nashville for getaway and the Hermitage gave us an excellent opportunity to feel pampered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nashville. The staff was gracious. We ate at the Capitol Grille and enjoyed all the natural well prepared food.

I love nice hotels and have stayed in a few, but this one was the best! It's stunning lobby, spacious rooms, wonderful service, incredible bathrooms (with flat screen TV over the tub), and turn down service were extraordinary! I highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Beautiful building in immaculate condition. Rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly. Right in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to all the tourist sights. I'm very glad we chose to stay there. It was worth the money.

Excellent service, beautiful place to stay.

As soon as we walked in, it was obvious that our stay was going to be everything we had hoped for. Attention to detail by staff was phenominal. The location is great. We parked our car upon check in and didn't get back in until we left. Just a truly nice experience. The only item that I rated as a 4 out of five was the comfort of our room. There is just something about your own pillows!!

A great hotel enjoyed our stay. And they have wonderful thick big basth towels!!

We have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world, and The Hermitage is equal to any of them! Hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful, rooms are so lovely, bathrooms are fabulous, The Oak Bar is great, and The Capitol Grill restaurant is superb! It was our first time to Nashville--were there for a concert at Ryman Auditorium right down the street--and we are so happy we chose The Hermitage. We will definitely be back!

I have just spent two and a half weeks in the U.S.. We stayed in six hotels in this time and chose them carefully, reading reviews and getting recommendations from friends. The Heritage Hotel in Nashville was the best hotel we stayed in. The rooms were lovely, the bathrooms the best by far of any of the others we stayed in and the staff were exceptional. The concierges Vicky and I think David? were our best friends in a strange city. They could not have been kinder or more efficient. The receptionists were also charming and went out of their way to help us. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. They spoiled us so that afterwards nothing quite measured up to their standards.

Everything at this hotel was perfect from the moment we arrived. The entire staff is truly accomodating, very friendly, and all go out of their way to make sure your stay is ideal. We could not ask for a more beautiful and comfortable room and bed. The lobby is a place you want to hang out in for a long time. If you want royal treatment, stay at the Hermitage Hotel.

This hotel is located downtown and was in walking distance to the Ryman, the Hall of Fame, churches, restaurants, bars, drug stores, clothing stores, and the night life on Broadway. Once we got to the hotel, we walked everywhere. We opted to take a cab to the Grand Ole Opry but the fee is a flat rate and the cab drivers were extremely nice. We came back to a wonderful and relaxing room. This is a 5 star hotel and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted us with our room needs promptly. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we would stay there again and would recommend this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The Hermitage Hotel was absolutely beautiful! If you want to be pampered and catered to, this is the place to be. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your stay with them was memorable. We would absolutely recommend the Hermitage to anyone visiting Nashville. They made us feel very welcome.

Hotel was in excellent condition, room was very clean & comfortable. Within walking distance of Broadway for bars & restaurants. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality stay close to the downtown area. Two additional costs to be aware of: 1) valet parking appeared to be the only choice @ $26/night, still better than cities like Chicago I guess & 2) 5 separate additional taxes added substantially to the total amount.

We were looking for a place to treat ourselves, and The Hermitage fulfilled this goal wonderfully. Conveniently located, luxurious, historic and beautiful. After touring downtown Nashville in the rain, we decided to retreat to the hotel to watch a movie on the LCD TV, only to find that there is no on-demand video service (?). However, they do provide a DVD player and full cable service, so if you want to see a specific film, bring it with you. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful Hotel, room was splendid and the bed was so comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend having coffee/tea and snacks available all the time rather than a few hours in morning and evening with crazy schedules these days. Website should clarify cost of parking too. A bit bigger area for business center would be nice as well. Loved staying there!

Splendid stay! We were upgraded to a City Suite bigger than most deluxe condos. Had a lovely dinner at the Capital Grille, which has an excellent wait staff and a fine menu and a wine list with a capable sommelier to advise on choice. I can't begin to describe the wonderful level of luxury we experienced in this 100-year-old, renovated treasure in Nashville. We're Southerners. The hospitality we encountered there was all it should have been and more. DL, TN

New York class at Nashville prices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hermitage Hotel is right downtown in the heart of the city. It is a beautiful building with an GREAT bar, the Oak Bar. Staying in an old, well-kept place like that is an extraordinary experience.

If you like being treated like royalty from the front door and throughout the hotel, you'll love this hotel. Not only is it beautiful inside, but the staff goes way out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The restaurant is amazing. Even the turn down service was exceptional. The rooms are very large and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel and would go out of our way to return to the area just to stay here. Everything about our stay was outstanding.
