Although location is not terrific, the access to public transportation, indoor pool/spa and friendly staff make this hotel a value.

Bathroom quite old. But very clean. Bed king size I sleep very well. Air con. Quite loud. swiming pool exelent.

Nice hotel,brilliant clean pool and spa, a little pricey for drinks ect in main bar,(which closed @ 11) and only had a sports channel to watch or listen to. downstairs bar open late tho- nice live music ect, stones throw from train link into town, took about 15 mins,nothing really in the area around the hotel but that left more time to swim and relax, staff were lovely, very friendly and helpfull. defo recommend it, but not a place for the young to party, if you want that then stay on the pest side of the city!!

Booked this hotel for a 4 night stay. The quality of the hotel was to the highest standard definitely a 5 start. The staff were extremely polite and very friendly. Breakfast was great with so much variety to choose from. The spa was outstanding with 3 swimming pools, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath etc. i would certainly be staying there again and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you

Hotel has many 5 star features ... but there were things that let it down. The spa / pools were closed for some of our stay. No towels in rooms for two of the days ..laundry problem. Generally the staff were pleasant but struggling to cope with so many complains from coustomers. The hotel is a little way out of town. Hired some bikes from the hotel but they broke down. At first the management were unconcerned with our spoilt trip . But when we continued to complain eventually we got an apopolgy.

The location is not brilliant but acceptable. The room is nice except the sink of bathroom. Got some drainage issues. The wifi is really unstable..Breakfast is nice and all the staff are very friendly!

Everything fine except the computers in the business center, which werent from this century and to expensive to use.

The whole hotel was clean and well kept. The spa pools were impressive and open in the evening as well as the day. Food in the resaurant was good. The train and trams took you straight to the centre in about five mins. Visit this hotel regularly for work, but would stay for leisure as well as it is in a quieter area but still close to all the sights.

Stayed here when visiting friends and myself and girlfriend could not fault anything with the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and check in/out was very quick. Bar staff also very friendly and very reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in. Spa facilities are fantastic and treatments were also reasonably priced as well as free WIFI throughout the hotel. The only downside was the air conditioning unit not working and the heating in the room was too hot but as it was winter, opening the window solved this. Would definitely recommend the hotel and when I am back in Budapest this is where I will be staying. Some reviews claim that the hotel is too far out but this was not a problem as the tram is outside the hotel and in the summer it would be a lovely walk along the Danube. Like the title says, you won't find better value anywhere.

We were very happy during our stay in the hotel.Every morning we wet downstairs to the SPA ,and all the time it was clean and nice ,refreshing and giving energy for the hole day ahead.The food was delicious ,a good amount of choices.The neighbourhood was quiet and nice.We enjoied very much.I shoud admitt that the staf at the hotel was very good ,polite nice,and pleasant.

Although I am a frequent supporter of the finest accommodations around the World, I couldn't resist staying at the very neighbourhood I grew up in during this recent Business trip. This property would have 4 stars by most international standards, as it doesn't have the traditional extra glamour and the distinct pampering we accustomed at the top level; however it provides excellent amenities, service, comfort, ambiance and very friendly staff. I booked king room through hoteIs.com with the full breakfast at an exceptional price. i got my river view room on the executive club level, which brings up a good point. If I were offered the use of the Executive club for about the same price as the breakfast I definitely picked the club access. Unfortunately that is not an option on any of the web based booking sites, making this great service the best kept secret of the hotel. Solution: book without breakfast online and pay for the club upon arrival. I stayed 9 days and most of my observations below were relatively consistent. The hotel lobby was really welcoming upon arrival and the check in process was fast and painless, something you'd appreciate after a 20 hour journey. The elevators, hallways and generally all common areas had a "newly updated" feeling. The room had an average first impression, except the definite smell of prior smoking there. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a comfortable, clean and quiet room. The flat screen TV had most local radio and TV stations, plus a number of German network TV, a couple of French, Italian, Russian stations, however indeed, if you'd only speak English, you could be stuck with the news, and one British travel channel. The internet service (free) was exceptionally efficient for any hotel. I had several long video conferences and heavy internet usage without a hitch. My personal favorite of the hotel was the spa. It is open from 6:30-22:00 and offers a perfect sanctuary before, during and/or after your busy business day or sights

The hotel was excellent value for the price I paid. Location a bit out of town, but transport good, so wasn't a problem. Leisure facilities very good and included in the deal. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Low level service, the jacuzi had too much chlorum in it

The spa and pool were exceptional. However, there were a few small issues with the room. Firstly, in this quality hotel you would expect a flat screen tv and some english channels apart from the bbc news. Secondly, the shower screen was too small, hence every time the shower was used the floor and towel were left wet no matter how careful you were. Finally, the bar showed particularly bad service both slow and didnt run there advertised happy hour as the till wasn't discounting the drinks. Otherwise all the other staff were particularly helpful.

The hotel overall is very nice for being in the older part of town, but truthfully (being a frequent 5* er) not what you would "expect" from a 5 star - with the exception of the lobby and the SPA. The SPA / pool facilities are great as advertised - tailored primarily for adults. Rooms were clean, comfortable (not spacious), staff were friendly. The surrounding courtyard blends in with the neighborhood - no 5 * frills here. If you are expecting to jump out and buy some snack / drinks - be aware there is really nothing in walking distance, except a very overpriced mini market at the Hev station. The hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown on the Hev - which cones about every 5-10 minutes - which ends at the major transportation junction, or the trolly car can take you to the pest side, where you can also catch the metro. Either way I would recommend on buy a daily transportation pass as you will need it if you stay here and expect to see the sites (available at the major transportation junctions). Would I stay again, yes - as this facility represents value for the cost, and I would rather spend my money on the beautiful sites of Budapest !!

Would not recommend, following are pros and cons : Pros - Close to Margaret Island, Good thermal pool n jacuzzi. Cons - Service non existant, Reception very inhospitable, Executive lounge not manned continously and stocked adequately, Breakfast big spread but not to expecte quality. Concierge only interested in selling tickets and not really helpful otherwise. It is about 15 mts by train to Chain bridge and 15 mts walk accross the bridge to Margaret island Very very over rated 4 star and very avoidable!!

If you want to be in the old city, this is the hotel for you. Our air conditioning didn't work, and the surrounding neighborhood is somewhat seedy, but otherwise a nice hotel - and a great price with Hotels.com!

The hotel was great clean, comfortable and good facilities especially the Spa. Once you had worked out the transport it was easy enough to get into town, although it was a shame the free shuttle wasn't working!!! Only trouble with transport it stops at about 11.30pm at night and therefore if you want to stay up and out you need to get a taxi back and then this all adds up.

The hotel was very good, clean, comfortable, and with all advertised amenities. It is close to the suburban rail line to downtown, and overlooks the Danube. Breakfast was good, but priced on the high side. Our only comment is that the air conditioning did not compensate for the 30 plus temperatures of our weekend. good hotel, good spa, helpful staff. the hotel is a 6-7 euro taxi ride from the very centre of budapest, and easily reachable by public transport.

dining room staff as well was most attentive. for people who do not want to be downtown, this is ideal. a short-12 minute-suburban train ride away.

The stuff was organised and kind. Everything worked fine. Spa was real nice. Food could have been a little better. City center easy to access by public transport. Food could have been better. Hotel decoration a bit old fashion.

L'hotel presenta arredi non da 5 stelle ed anche la pulizia, in particolare la moquette, lascia a desiderare. Il personale è abbastanza disponibile . La colazione non è ricchissima.

Poca Pulizia della camera a causa anche della moquette , daltronte come i corridoi. Arredi anche danneggiati e assolutamente non da 5 stelle. Bagno non molto confortevole . Parcheggio non controllato tant'è vero che ci hanno tagliato alla nostra auto 2 gomme che abbiamo dovuto sostituire in toto e l'albergo non si è voluto assumerew alcuna responsabilità circa l'accaduto. Ci hanno abbonato il costo del parcheggio. La spa valeva i 5 stelle. La colazione assolutamente non da 5 stelle ma al massim o 3 stelle e mezzo. Personale che non parlava l'italiano.

El hotel es exelente,tanto en sus instalacionoe (sobre todo el SPA con sus piletas de aguas termales),como las habitaciones y la atencion del personal. Lo unico desfavorable del hotel es la lejania de este,aunque el hotel te ofrece un servicio gratuito que te lleva a la ciudad. DE CUALQUIER MANERA ES MUY FACIL LLEGAR A LA CIUDAD.

Бассейны просто великолепны! номер так же хорош. на машине 5 минут до центра, удобный не дорогой паркинг, а за 15 метров от отеля паркинг свободный. Очень обрадовала бутылка шампанского и клубника в номере.

Ligger utanför staden. Lätt att ta sig in med kollektivtrafiken dom är väldigt smidig i Budapest. Men läget är inget för den som vill ut och festa på kvällarna. Spa-avdelningen var bra. Massagen fantastisk. Rummen var bra men inte perfekt städat. Wifi:n krånglade en del och det var slut på tofflor när vi var där. En del v personalen var jätteproffsiga medan en hel del yngre hade noll koll på hotellets utbud och var dåliga på engelska. Men jag skulle absolut kunna tänka mig att bo där igen.

Goed, alleen restaurant voor het dinner was slecht, ontbeid echter zeer goed.

Kan bestemt anbefales! Dejligt pool/spa område, som ikke var overfyldt. Rent og meget venligt og professionelt personale. Nemt til tog og sporvogn. Hurtigt inde i midtbyen.

Svært fornøyd med oppholdet, men internettforbindelsen fungerte ikke flere dager. Det var litt irriterende. Hotellet var ellers av høy klasse, med flott badebasseng og spa-avdeling. Nydelig frokost og meget god service. Rommet var helt rent og pent innredet. Hotellet lå noen få t-banestopp fra sentrum, men enkelt å komme seg dit likevel. Stasjon få meter fra hotellet. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Dieses Hotel wird, seit dem es nicht mehr im Besitz der Ramada-Firma ist, immer teuerer. An allen Ecken werden nebenkosten verrechnet. Das WiFi wird nicht mehr so zugänglich und schnell, wie früher (ausser, wenn extra bezahlt wird). Die Kontrolle über das Personal ist nicht mehr zo zuverlässig, wie in der Ramada-Zeit. Leider gibt es einige Fehlrer in Serviceleistung. Kleine, jedoch früher unbekannte (kein Toilettenpapir, kein Duschgel). Es ist definitiv nicht mehr ein Hotel mit 5 Sternen.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was those guest- views praising the breakfast, which was, in fact, far more surprising and impressive than we had expected. We stayed here for three nights and we could hardly wait for each morning to come, thinking of the breakfast. It consisted of a wide variety of dishes from salad to dessert, of course including hot and cold dishes. It did not cost a lot as compared with other high-ranked hotels. We do recommend you eating here. The hotel offers its special winter plans and we found "Stay 2 nights and the 3rd night free" through hotels.com, which was a real bargain. The hotel is new and clean, and is situated in the peaceful suburbs, but you will find no difficulty in going to the city center or to the bus terminal if you make use of the train(Hev) or the tram. Just one disapponting thing: the bed was a bit too soft.
