Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Great for large families

The pool was small but it uses salt water as opposed to 100+ gallons of chlorine. All in all a very cozy hotel with GREAT customer service. The gal up front made more waffle mix for my little girl even though we were 5 min late got the free breakfast. Nice spot.

My family and I had a good stay,the hot morning breakfast was better than some other places I've staid at before.On the other hand,the pool was way over chloriated,to rent a pay for view was outrages.You could have bought the movie for cheaper,and the choices of tv chanels is lacking aswell.It did have a good choice of resturants in the area,and is located a short distance from both St.Paul and Minneapolis,Mn.With the couple things I have mentioned,all and all it was a pleasent stay.

Our room was perfect for our weekend stay. The bed was comfortable and having the sitting/kitchenette area made our room as comfy as home.

I was very happy with everything. We checked in rather late, but the person at the reservation desk was efficient and it didn't take long at all. The room had a lovely view. The food at the breakfast buffet was overwhelming . . . just excellent! When I mentioned that the juices were out, they were right on it. My daughters thought the whirlpool was a little too hot. Some of the towels were a little worn. The room price was very affordable. We were in a king suite and it was very roomy. All-in-all, we were very pleased.

We booked a jacuzzi suite for our anniversary. When we went to check in, we found out they had just given our room away to someone else about 1 minute before we came. The front desk had the nerve to ask us if we actually needed the jacuzzi room or if they could downgrade us. We insisted on our booked room, so they called back the poor woman they had given our room to and proceeded to complain to us hoe it had been a bad day because they overbooked the hotel by five rooms. Sorry, not my problem! While we did eventually get our reserved room, I feel like we should have gotten more than an annoyed sounding apology for their mistake. The room itself was nice, but the service was not.

20 minutes from the airport with convenient access to last minute shopping....food, wine, clothing and sundries. Didn't try the pool, but it looked clean and inviting, and the breaksfast was substantial. Staff was helpful during our visit, as we were a family reunion group trying to herd cats most of the time.

Our room was the best! A comfortable place with a spot for everyone to sleep. Having the kitchenette made it so much easier for us to save money. The location was just far enough from the Mall of America to get away, but not far enough to be a hassle.

We stayed here after our vacation. We appreciated the shuttle service from the airport. The room was wonderful. Nice and big and a very comfortable bed. We hope to stay here again.

Having stayed at the hotel last year, we knew it was conveniently located and in a good neighborhood. The unfortunate part was the condition of the rooms in the past year has deteriorated. Previously we could easily give it 4-5 stars, this time, it moves to a 3-star rating. The good aspect of the hotel is how accommodating the housekeeping, breakfast and desk personnel are. Nothing but high marks for those individuals. The property needs work before it degrades further...

Overall this hotel was a good value. It is not as nice as some of the other suite hotels but was considerably less expensive. Desk clerk was pleasant and the rooms were clean. Location is great; convenient to MoA and the MN Zoo (our trip destinations). However, on Saturday night the lobby was very crowded, mostly with unsupervised teenagers. The pool is very small and was extremely crowded rowdy. Definately not sonewhere we want to take our little ones. My biggest irritation is that we were given a room directly across from the ice machine (318). If you are a light sleeper you do not want this room. The very loud ice machine was used many times throughout the night and I was woken up repeatedly by it. We never heard any noise from neighboring rooms but noise through the door was fairly loud. Also, something to be aware of if you often travel using suites is that these suites are not actually two separate rooms. There is no door to close off the sitting area so when my husband wanted to watch tv at night it made it difficult to get our two young children to sleep. I would probably stay here again for a short trip or possibly to use their park and fly system, I would just be sure to request a room away from the ice machine.

I had stayed at this hotel before when flying out of MSP and used the park-n-fly feature. Well this time, I was staying in town, and both nights when we got back after 8 pm there were almost no parking spots left. The first night we managed to park in the nearby hotel's parking lot. The second night, there were no spots in either lot, my wife asked where we should park and the receptionist told her across the street in the Chili's parking lot! We couldn't believe it. Eventually a spot opened up in the other hotel's parking lot. Other cons: 1) One morning the my wife stopped down to get something from the front desk, and the girl was around the corner on Facebook! My wife had to wait a full two minutes for her to finish! 2) No wireless in the rooms, only wired internet available 3) No ESPN2, even though it is advertised as available (I missed NHRA drag racing qualifying) 4) Pool was cold!! We tried taking our young child swiming, but between the cold and noisy kids, he didn't fare too well. That's another thing, tons of kids running around the place. 5) Breakfast was subpar in my opinion - they have the usual greasy sausage, egg patties, and waffle maker. It was eatible, but I think we should have held out for the cafe at IKEA. Overall, this is a descent hotel, but mostly due to the limited parking situation, we'll never stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel the same weekend for the last 5 years and have always had an enjoyable stay. Staff is very friendly. You get a great breakfast, have lots of amenities and you're close enough to get to the city quickly without having to pay the price of staying there. We're already planning on staying at his hotel again next year!!

All was well until I tried to sleep at night. There was a loud noise going on outside the window room 229 all night long. Don't stay on that side of the hotel!

For the price, it was very nice. It was a little cramped for 3 people (one king bed and a fold out couch)and only had one TV (I thought I had signed up for a room that had two rooms and two TVs). The breakfast had a very good selection. I like a room that has the sink outside of the shower/toilet.

I was very impressed with the clean, updated, roomy hotel room. It was nice to have the separate sitting area with a second TV. It was a great hotel at a great price. Very satisfied!
