the front desk folks are the best. Very friendly and eager to make sure your stay is perfect. However, my room was okay the floor was very dirty. I had to clean it. the hotel is in despirate need of updating and has a bad smell in the lower halls.

Extended Stay America had exactly what I needed. I need to eat every 2 hours, so a kitchen is a must. The lobby is very nicely kept. The location of this hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious. One thing I recommend is bring your own shampoos, conditioner, dish soap... etc. I had all that at home (trail size) but didn't think to bring it because hotels usually have those things. It's understandable that they don't have them, though. There's a CVS next door. Although that CVS is clearly marked up. The rates are excellent.

this was a great location and a great price. i got what i paid for, no more no less. what made it fine was the friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was lovely... however, that was the only good part. The hallways constantly wreaked of bad cooking and food and seeped into my room. Pets allowed...read there was dog hair embedded in the desk chairs and probably everywhere else, I had to lay towels on all the seats to not end up with fur on my clothing. There were men's beard shavings along the wall next to the sink. Bring your own hangers...There were no skirt hangers and the hanging space was short above and below... so your clothing would bunch on the shelf or the dirty carpet. The building itself was fine.. but could use better ventilation and more thorough cleaning. The oranges in the morning were nice.

It was a quiet place but very dated. Location is good. The dishes were dirty, the rooms were very dated, windows were broken (wouldnt stay open), the breakfast was a joke for what we paid. Coffee and cereal bars and instant oatmeal is not a breakfast. I wouldnt stay there again unless there were no more options.

Ok, nice location, room was clean of clutter, bathroom was decent. Once you get off the elevator to the 4th floor your nose is filled with that WEED. I stayed 2 nights and both days was the same smell. It didn't come inside my room but definitely was in my clothes.

There are many choices in the neighborhood and unfortunately this hotel is at the bottom of the list. The hallways smelled bad and there is now housekeeping unless you stay there for more than one week. I would not stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff members were very friendly and was quick to answer any questions that we had. Our room was very clean and organized.

They dont clean your rooms. The alleged included breakfast is worthless. You can hear everyone in the hallway. Good location

Front desk service was great. I did not like the fact that housekeeping did not clean the room on a daily basis and you have to ask 4 fresh towels after you took them the dirty towels and they counted them. The drain in the bathtub was slow to drain so the water was slow running out. On a more positive note I liked the kitchenette. ...great amenity. Hotel is close to the Galleria mall

Nice Staff ... Seemed personable ... but poorly maintained hotel ... very dated .... my A/C barely worked ... and tub / shower leaked .... called for maintenance twice over my 5 day stay ... with no repair or follow up ... but the worst was the "Dial-up" speed WiFi ... too slow for any serious business travel .... had to use 4G rather than provided "Free WiFi' ... and upgrade to "Faster" Speed did not improve the situation .....

This hotel is a short walk to Galleria Mall, CVS is on the corner for you needs. Food wise just google restaurants and you'll see a lot of restaurants in the area.

And I don't mean just the towels. Carpets are a bit ragged and a bit spotty, bathroom sink stained and fixtures just old and have seen better days. The airconditioner is a bit loud and seemed to blow somewhat damp air. On the plus side, the people are nice and the bed was comfortable. I was there just one night, but would not want to be there for an extended stay.

Hotel rank of cigarrette smoke in the hallways. Shady loitering out front at all times. Prostitutes staying for the week it seemed. Front Desk was lethargic. Coffee station by front desk was dirty every time, but the coffee is actually strong and pretty good. Rooms are big and clean, but the bed spreads are gross, don't want to see it under a blacklight. I booked this room thinking there would be a fitness room, there was not.

My room was disgusting. Other people's hair all over beds. Dirty pillow cases. Smelly bathroom. Leaking walls. I really thought I might get sick due to how unclean it was. Also Courtney at the front desk was rude and completely unprofessional when I requested to speak with her manager about these issues. Don't stay here unless you are the type that is used to hotels where you pay by the hour.

This was our first time at a extended stay and we were mainly looking for a clean room with a clean shower and that is it. Sleeping & Showering was all we needed. We were visiting family and would be with them 90% of the time. So when we checked in and there were chips under the desk and a crack in the shower floor. We were not impressed. The second day wanted more towels and there were none. The front desk said they got behind and all they had was 1 bath and 2 washcloths and 1 hand. I did not under stand the paying for room service but like I said our first time at this type of Hotel. It was very convenient to my family and the price was good but I don't think I would stay there again.

I had to clean the toilet and bathroom floor, empty the trash cans, and wash the dishes from the previous guest before I could occupy the room. It was filthy and obviously the housekeeping missed the room in their limited cleanup.

The hotel lobby and elevator STUNK! The room was ok - it did not smell but was old and run down. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the price it charges.

For the very first time in all my years of hotel stay I was very unsatisified with my stay. I understand it was a very busy time in the city, I was sent to 2 rooms that were not ready. Then I was offered a handicap room. Finally I got a room.All this back and forth had me late for my conferance. After a long day I went back to my room to find that the key did not work. They had deactivatated the key... As busy as it was they left a fairly new lady working alone. I felt bad for her... SMH... I checked out the next morning.. And have not looked back

While the bed and the TV leave something to be desired, the room provided what I needed, is centrally located and affordable. Will definitely stay there again.

On 2/26 morning no cream in the lobby for Coffee. Front desk was of no help in finding some cream. Finally i got some cream from the maid (housekeeping Room). Maid was very helpful.

Good stay for the most part. Comfortable room. Everything seemed clean. TV was old with bad reception. Only other negative were the annoying birds outside my window. Must have been a 1000 of them in that one tree. They also left their marks on our vehicle too (though some had much worse). Was not our ideal choice because of location but it wasn't bad. Will not be my first choice though.

good for the money, but dont park around back!!!!!

I prefer extended stay hotels and my first two choices were booked. I selected this one as the most convenient of the others. Arrived a little later than planned and it took almost 30 minutes to find hotel staff to check me in. The carpet was stained, the room appeared dusty, the television only received two channels, and the bathroom mirror was dirty. Overall, a below average experience.

Let's see, I parked my car 2 spaces from the front entrance and it was KEYED ALL AROUND AND ZIG-ZAG. The hotel has video cameras monitoring the parking lot and yet they claim no one was near my car. I guess a ghost keyed my car! Total damage estimate is $2,375.00. I recommend you pay a little more and stay at a better hotel!

This place is gross. I would not recommend this dump to anyone. 1)Combined Smoking and Non-Smoking Floors the hallways stink like cigarette smoke. 2) There was hair in both of the glasses in my room. 3) There was a plunger in the bathroom and the toilet clogged after throwing 1 tissue in it. 4) The bedding is old and worn out and there was a large brown stain on the visible box spring.

Well its a harsh thing to accept, when you get to your room and start to unpack and unwind, its not a good thing to sit down and find that you Hace NO TOILET Paper, and have to go to service desk to get it :( is there anyone checking on the house keeping staff for job completion? this should never happen

On our arrival wedecidd to unpack and relax before going outfor the evening. I opened the draw of bedside table to putmy med's in...surprise! surprise! Here was 4-5 USED tissue papers waiting to spread lots of Germs. My husband reported it in person and was told they could not leave the counter, since she was there alone.He was also told they would give him a can of Lysol spray butcould not find it. The young lady behind the counterwas trying tobevery helpful, with what she had to work with. Our pillowslip also had to be changes since there was some sort of DISCHARGE on it. A new pillow was given to us.
